Abstract

Urban farming is one of the efforts to ensure family food security during the pandemic. Because of their limited mobility and lower income, many people are bored. Residents of RW V are just one example of those who have been affected by the pandemic. This program has the potential to provide independent food security as well as improve the mental health of RW V residents' mothers. Socialization, workshops, training, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation are some of the methods used. The results of this program show that the residents of RW V are very enthusiastic about urban farming and are capable of growing vegetables. Furthermore, mothers, particularly housewives, report feeling mentally healthier as a result of new activities and a singular focus on urban farming with hydroponics.

Abstract

Efforts to increase the productivity of MSMEs have not become a special agenda for village officials in Citromanggisan Hamlet. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to help SMEs in increasing their productivity by increasing their knowledge and skills regarding e-commerce. This program is carried out using training and mentoring methods. The result of this program is that MSME actors have gained new knowledge about the entrepreneurial mindset, skills in making flyers through Canva, taking photos of business products independently, and being able to find value in their products.

Abstract

Until now, the waste management in Geduang Hamlet has not been optimal, even though waste can be processed into goods of economic value. Limited knowledge and lack of skills are obstacles in waste management. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve human resources in the management of organic and inorganic waste. Community empowerment through the formation and management of waste aims to provide education to the public about the Waste Bank starting from the establishment to the administrative mechanism. This program is carried out in the form of training. The results obtained from this program are that the waste bank management has been able to formulate a vision and mission, understand an efficient waste sorting process, and increase the solidity of managers and more organized financial planning management.

Abstract

Due to a lack of understanding regarding the development of tourist areas, the natural potential of Surodadi Village, Candimulyo, Magelang Regency has not been optimally developed to become a natural tourist attraction. This community service's goal is to help create tourism awareness groups (POKDARWIS) and educate people on how to manage and develop natural tourism villages. This program uses the knowledge and skill transfer method to village officials and the community as POKDARWIS candidate members. The result of this program was the formation of POKDARWIS as one of the institutions that handles the development or establishment of tourist areas in Surodadi Village, Candimulyo, Magelang Regency.

Abstract

This research use the quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group to improve graduate work readiness through learning agility training. This study used the Independent sample t-test to determine the average comparison of different groups and also the Paired sample t-test to find the differences in the two groups. This research aims to examine the graduate work readiness can be improved through learning agility e-training. There are 32 subjects divided into two equal parts for both the control and experimental groups with the criteria including graduates seeking employment, those have never worked before, and have moderate and low readiness scores. However, the e-training on learning agility were only provided for the experimental group and not to the control group. The results of the sample t-test in the post-test experimental group showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and post-test with a value of t = -7.206; df = 15; and the significance of 0.000 (p <0.05). The results using independent samples t-test indicate that work readiness tends to be improved through learning agility training.

Abstract

Tangguh Waste Bank is located in Wonosuko Hamlet, Tegalrejo Village, Tegalrejo District, Magelang Regency. The Tangguh Waste Bank has recently been established, so there are several shortcomings, including a lack of understanding of community ecoliteracy, which hinders community involvement in managing waste more broadly. To overcome these obstacles, community service activities were carried out with program targets for waste bank administrators based on a green economy. The implementation of the service uses a participatory approach method, focusing on: 1) socialization of the management of waste banks and reading corners, 2) training and guidance on the management of waste banks and reading corners, 3) outbound management of waste banks and the community to increase cooperation and cohesiveness between members. The results achieved through this activity include the preparation of a one-year work program for Tangguh Waste Bank management, equipped with a timeline and the person responsible for each sub-work program. Additionally, the level of management participation in activities increased by 53%.
