Abstract

Wowor1) 1)Program studi pendidikan dokter gigi, Fakultas Kedokteran, UNSRAT ABSTRACT Quality of life is an opportunity of individual to can be live comfortably, and maintain a healthy state of physiology an social balance in everyday life. Quality of life associated with oral health assess the factors function, psychological and social as well as the experience of pain and discomfort in everyday life. Treatment by wear dentures can also cause problems and inconvenience in use. The physical problems such as pain and lack of stability of the dentures during chewing and speaking cause decreased quality of life.The aim of this study was to determine how the representation quality of life of the Batu Kota Village societies who wear dentures. This research is a descriptive cross sectional study design. Sample size of 81 samples and take by using purposive sampling method. This research instrument used a questionnaire OHIP-14. The data collected processed and analized the presented in the form of tables and discussion.  The research quality of life based on the assessment dimensions of functional limitation is good, based on the assessment dimension of physical pain was moderate, based on the assessment of psychic discomfort quite good, based on assessment of physical disability dimension classified as good, based on the assessment dimensions of psychic incapacity quite good, based on yhe assessment of social incompetence is quite good and based on assessment dimensions of handicap quite good. The average valution is based on seven dimensions of quality of life showed that quality of life in the society of Batu Kota Village are good.   Key words:  quality of life, dentures ABSTRAK Kualitas hidup merupakan kesempatan individu untuk dapat hidup nyaman, serta mempertahankan keadaan sehat fisiologis sejalan dengan imbangan sehat secara psikologis. Kualitas hidup yang dihubungkan dengan kesehatan gigi dan mulut menilai faktor fungsional, psikologi dan sosial serta pengalaman rasa sakit dan tidak nyaman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Perawatan dengan pemakaian gigi tiruan dapat menimbulkan masalah dan ketidaknyamanan dalam pemakaiannya, seperti adanya masalah fisik yaitu rasa sakit dan kurangnya stabilitas gigi tiruan selama mengunyah dan berbicara menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas hidup seseorang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran kualitas hidup masyarakat Kelurahan Batu Kota yang memakai gigi tiruan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional study. Besar sampel dalam penelitian yaitu sebanyak 81 sampel dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan berupa kuesioner OHIP-14. Data yang diperoleh diolah dan dianalisis kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan uraian. Hasil penelitian kualitas hidup berdasarkan penilaian dimensi keterbatasan fungsi tergolong baik, berdasarkan penilaian dimensi rasa sakit fisik tergolong sedang, berdasarkan penilaian ketidaknyamanan psikis tergolong baik, berdasarkan penilaian dimensi ketidakmampuan fisik tergolong baik, berdasarkan penilaian dimensi ketidakmampuan psikis tergolong baik, berdasarkan ketidakmampuan sosial tergolong baik dan berdasarkan penilaian dimensi keterhambatan tergolong baik. Penilaian rata-rata berdasarkan tujuh dimensi kualitas hidup menunjukkan bahwa kualitas hidup masyarakat Kelurahan Batu Kota yang memakai gigi tiruan tergolong baik.   Kata kunci:  kualitas hidup, gigi tiruan

Abstract

Seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii) is one of the aquatic commodities that has the potential to be developed due to demand reaching the international market (Ari, SP and Risna Yusuf, 2018). Provision of seeds is still carried out by vegetative means (cuttings) (Runtuboy N and Slamet Abadi, 2018). However, there are problems, especially the provision of quality seeds, large scale, and does not depend on the season. Provision of seeds can also be done generatively. K. alvarezii can be developed by exploiting the nature of sexual reproduction through the development of spores which are characterized by the presence of cystocarp on the surface of the thallus (Juniarta I, 2016). However, the cystocarp in its growth really needs nutrition in order to produce spores of good quality and quantity. The nutrients needed are nitrogen and phosphate. This is due to the role of nitrogen as a constituent of protein and phosphate as a provider of energy (Pauwah A, et al., 2020). The purpose of this study was to determine the dose ratio of nitrogen and phosphate enrichment on cystocarp development. The research was carried out from November 2018 to February 2019, at the Seaweed Laboratory of the Takalar Brackish Water Aquaculture Fishery Center (BPBAPT). The study contained 6 treatments with 3 repetitions, namely Treatment A = Without enrichment (SW), Treatment B = 0.5 ppm N: 0.5 ppm P, Treatment C = 1 ppm N: 0.5 ppm P, Treatment D = 1.5 ppm N : 0.5 ppm P, Treatment E = 0.5 ppm N : 1 ppm P, and Treatment F = 0.5 ppm N : 1.5 ppm P. The results showed that the highest germination was in treatment D with an average of 56.95%. However, the research was not significantly different between treatments (p>0.05).

Abstract

Background : Irregular eating patterns will make it difficult for the stomach to adapt. If this continues for a long time, excess stomach acid will be produced which can irritate the stomach walls. Based on medical journals, 40% of gastritis sufferers are caused by stress due to work problems, household problems, irregular eating patterns, which causes frequent recurrences of gastritis. Gastritis complications are bleeding, pernicious anemia, and stomach cancer Objective: This research was to determine the relationship between diet and recurrence of gastritis in the community in the Pustu Mantimin work area Method: This research uses a quantitative research type of correlation study with a cross sectional approach, namely research to study the relationship between two variables, where all the variables observed are measured while the research is taking place. The independent variable is diet and the dependent variable is the occurrence of gastritis recurrence. Result: The results of the research show that there is a relationship between diet and recurrence of gastritis in the community in the Pustu Mantimin Working Area with a calculated Chi Square value of 5,719 Chi Square Table 43,775 with a sig level result of 0.022 < 0.05. then it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is a relationship between diet and recurrence of gastritis in the community in the Pustu Mantimin Working Area. In the risk estimate for recurrence of gastritis, the odds ratio (OR) value in this study was 150, which means an evaluation of the relationship between diet and recurrence of gastritis. Conclusion: There is a relationship between diet and recurrence of gastritis in the community in the Pustu Mantimin Working Area
