Abstract

Abstract This community service activity purpose to find out the problems in the subject teachers' meeting organization (MGMP) in the field of electricity expertise in governance in management. In addition, this activity also aims to find out what obstacles and efforts are made by MGMP in carrying out activities in a pandemic situation. The results of observations of several problems related to governance, namely: (1) there is no governance model that can be used as a reference for management to work; (2) the core and supporting programs have not been planned. So that during this activity only carry out assignments from the Education office and have not touched the needs of electricity teachers. Therefore, the method used in this activity to solve MGMP governance problems includes assistance which includes training as a pattern and strategy in solving problems in the electricity MGMP. The strategy used to solve this is the use of online platforms and SWOT analysis training to identify problems and problems in the organization. The results obtained in this activity include: (1) governance management by utilizing one of the document-based online platforms, namely Microsoft Teams. Microsoft team is used for effective work between administrators in completing bold documents. Meanwhile, SWOT analysis training to explore and self-evaluate as well as identify problems and solutions. In addition, the SWOT analysis is also used to support the preparation of the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART). The estuary of this activity is the effectiveness and efficiency of the management and performance of the electricity MGMP, so that it has an impact on the loyalty and confidence of the MGMP management in managing the organization. Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui permasalahan di organisasi Musyawarah guru mata pelajaran (MGMP) bidang keahlian ketenagalistrikan dalam tata Kelola dalam kepengurusan. Disamping itu, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala dan upaya apa saja yang dilakukan MGMP dalam melaksanakan kegiatan dalam situasi pandemik. Hasil observasi ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang terkait dengan tata Kelola, yaitu: (1) belum adanya model tata Kelola yang menjadi rujukan kepengurusan untuk bekerja; (2) belum terencananya program inti dan penunjang. Sehingga kegiatan selama ini hanya melaksanakan berdasarkan penugasan dari dinas Pendidikan dan belum menyentuh kepada kebutuhan guru guru ketenagalistrikan. Oleh karena itu, metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tata Kelola MGMP diantaranya adalah pendampingan yang didalamnya termasuk pelatihan-pelatihan sebagai pola dan startegi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada di MGMP ketenagalistrikan. Strategi yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalah adalah pemanfaatan flatform Online dan pelatihan analisis SWOT untuk menemukenali Permasalahan dan kesenangan di organisasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan ini diantaranya adalah: (1) manajemen tata Kelola dengan memanfaatkan salah satu Flatform online berbasis dokumen yaitu Microsoft Teams. Microsoft teams digunakan untuk efektifitas kerja antara pengurus dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan menyelesaikan dokumen secara daring. Semenatar itu, pelatihan analisis SWOT untuk menggali dan evaluasi diri sekaligus menemukenali permasalahan dan jalan keluarnya. Selain itu analisis SWOT digunakan juga untuk mendukung dalam penyusunan Anggaran Dasar dan Anggaran Rumah Tangga (AD/ART). Muara dari kegiatan ini adalah efektifitas dan efisiensi tata kelola dan kinerja MGMP ketenagalistrikan, sehingga berdampak pada loyalitas dan keyakinan pengurus MGMP dalam mengelola organisasi.

Abstract

Abstract Learning Media Development Training for Distance Learning in the Middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic which was carried out in Pulau Panggang Village, North Seribu Islands District, Seribu Islands Administration as one of the guidance for the Electrical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta in the field of Community Service (PPM). This activity is one of the programs that are given continuously every year as part of the application of knowledge and skills in the community. The method used is the one group pretest posttest design method, namely research that provides a pretest (pretest) before being given treatment, after being given treatment then giving a final test (posttest). Meanwhile, at the time of presentation of training materials using online lecture techniques, online demonstrations; online discussions during zoom meetings or in discussion forums on the Google Classroom platform; as well as improving practical/Psychomotor skills in the form of assignments uploaded to Google Classroom, as well as pretest and posttest using the Quizizz application. Participants are teachers with a total of 18 participants. The training materials provided include (1) learning media that supports distance learning (online), (2) Synchronous mode online learning media with Zoom Meeting and Google Meet, and (3) Asynchronous mode online learning media with Google Classroom. The training activities are carried out online from August to September 2021. The results obtained from this activity show an average score increase of 60,46% and an effectiveness rate of 66,8% Abstrak Pelatihan Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran untuk Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh di Tengah Pandemi Covid19 yang pelaksanaannya di Kelurahan Pulau Panggang Kecamatan Kepulauan Seribu Utara Kabupaten Admintrasi Kepulauan Seribu sebagai salah binaan Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Jakarta dalam bidang Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM). Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu program yang diberikan secara berkesinambungan setiap tahunnya sebagai bagian pengamplikasian ilmu pengetahuan dan ketrampilan di masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode one grup pretest-postest design yaitu penelitian yang memberikan tes awal (pretest) sebelum diberikan perlakuan, setelah diberikan perlakuan barulah memberikan tes akhir (posttest). Sementara pada saat pemaparan materi pelatihan menggunakan teknik ceramah secara online, demontrasi secara online; diskusi secara online saat zoom meeting atau pada forum diskusi di platform google classroom; serta meningkatkan ketrampilan praktik/Psikomotorik berupa penugasan yang di-upload pada Google Classroom, serta pretest dan posttest menggunaan aplikasi Quizizz. Peserta adalah guru-guru dengan jumlah peserta 18 orang. Materi pelatihan yang diberikan meliputi (1) Media pembelajaran yang mendukung pembelajaran jarak jauh (daring), (2) Media pembelajaran daring mode Synchronous dengan Zoom Meeting dan Google Meet, dan (3) Media pembelajaran daring mode Asynchronoudengan dengan Google Classroom. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan secara darung pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan September tahun 2021. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini menunjukan kenaikan nilai rata-rata sebesar 60,46% dan dengan tingkat keefektifan sebesar 66,8%

Abstract

Abstract This community service activity aims to determine the level of understanding of teachers at various levels of education in the Muara gembong district of Bekasi about learning oriented to higher order thinking skills (HOTS). The results of the needs analysis identified that there are still many teachers who need to increase their understanding of pedagogy and fields of study. In addition, in training on learning oriented to higher-order thinking skills, the pretest results showed an average score of 7.14 (28.56%) while the pretest results showed an average score of 15.00 (60%), this result indicates an increase in the score of 50% of the initial understanding. Although this result is still far from the expected value, namely: 75%. The results obtained in this activity include: (1) increasing teachers' understanding of the HOTS-oriented learning approach; (2) improve the pedagogic competence and field of study of teachers in managing learning in the classroom. The follow-up analysis in this activity is: (1) Assistance of teachers in making planning plans; (2) Assistance of teachers in developing HOTS-oriented learning tools. Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman guru-guru diberbagai jenjang Pendidikan di kecamatan Muara gembong Bekasi tentang pembelajaran berorientasi pada keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Hasil analisis kebutuhan teridentifikasi bahwa masih banyak guru-guru membutuhkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang pedogogik dan bidang studi. Disamping itu, pada pelatihan tentang pembelajaran berorientasi pada keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, hasil pretest menunjukkan nilai rata-rata mencapai point 7.14 (28.56) sedangkan hasil pretest menunjukkan nilai rata-rata mencapai point 15.00 (60%), hasil ini menandakan ada kenaikan nilai sebesar 50% dari pemahaman awal. Walaupun hasil ini masih jauh dari nilai yang diharapkan yaitu: 75%. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan ini diantaranya adalah: (1) meningkatnya pemahaman guru-guru tentang pendekatan pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS; (2) meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan bidang studi guru dalam mengelola pembelaaran di kelas. Analisis tindak lanjut dalam kegiatan ini adalah: (1) Pendampingan guru-guru dalam membuat perencanaan perencanaan; (2) Pendampingan guru-guru dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang berorientasi HOTS.

Abstract

This study investigates how optimizing Moodle e-learning features can enhance student achievement in Business Economics courses. Grounded in constructivist learning theories and empirical research on Learning Management Systems, the investigation addresses the growing need for effective, technology-driven instructional strategies. A quasi-experimental research design was employed across one academic semester, involving undergraduate students enrolled in a Business Economics course at a public university. Participants were divided into two groups: one that accessed a standard Moodle environment and another that engaged with enhanced Moodle features, including adaptive release of content, personalized feedback tools, and gamified assessments. Data were collected through pre- and post-course tests, platform usage logs, and student perception surveys. Statistical analyses, including t-tests and multiple regression, indicated that students using the optimized Moodle platform demonstrated significantly higher achievement scores and engagement levels than those in the control group. Correlation results further revealed that interactive quizzes and targeted feedback strongly influenced student performance. Qualitative feedback underscored the benefits of gamified elements and user-friendly navigation in fostering deeper learning and motivation. These findings reinforce the vital role of thoughtfully tailored LMS interventions in improving learning outcomes, particularly within complex disciplines like Business Economics. The study concludes by discussing implications for educators, administrators, and platform developers seeking to maximize the pedagogical potential of e-learning systems. Future research should explore longitudinal effects, larger sample sizes, and cross-institutional validations to further refine and generalize these insights
