Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan konsentrat mengandung tepung bonggol pisang hasil fermentasi khamir saccarhomyeces cerevisae terhadap konversi ransum, efesiensi penggunaan ransum dan efesiensi penggunaan protein ternak kambing lokal betina. Ternak yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ternak kambing lokal betina sebanyak 12 ekor yang berumur antara 4-6 bulan dengan kisaran berat badan ternak 9-13 kg, dengan rataan10,5kg dan koefisien varians 14,762%. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah metode percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Adapun perlakuan tersebut yaitu : P0 = pakan basal + konsentrat tanpa bonggol pisang P1 = Pakan basal + konsentrat 10% tepung bonggol pisang P2 = pakan basal +konsentrat mengandung 20% tepung bonggol pisang, P3 = Pakan basal + konsentrat mengandung 30% tepung bonggol pisang 30%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konversi ransum P0 = 11,61 ± 1,55 P1 = 9,47 ± 2,12 P2 = 8,23 ± 0,36 P3 = 9,16 ± 1,37, efesiensi penggunaan ransum (%) P0 = 8,72 ± 1,24 P1 = 10,90 ± 2,24 P2 = 12,17 ± 0,53 P3 = 11,10 ± 1,82 dan efesiensi penggunaan protein (%) P0 = 44,67 ± 0,301 P1 = 53,85 ± 0,43 P2 = 59,39 ± 0,07P3 = 55,89 ± 0,2. Hasil analisis statistic menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05). Kesimpulan : pemberian pakan konsentrat mengandung tepung bonggol pisang hasil fermentasi memberikan pengaruh yang sama terhadap konversi ransum, efesiensi penggunaan ransum, efesiensi penggunaan protein ternak kambing lokal betina. The study aimed to evaluating the effect of including concentrate cointaining Saccarhomyeces cerevisiae fermented banana corm on feed conversion, feed efficiency, and protein efficiency of local ewe. There were 12 local e wes 4-6 months old with 9-13 kg (average 10.5kg; CV 14.76%) initial body weight used in the study. Trial method using completely randomized design 4 treatments with 3 replicates applied in the study. The 4 treatments applied were: P0; local grass + concentrate feed (70:30) without fermented banana corm; P1: local grass + concentrate feed containing 10% fermented banana corm; P2; local grass + concentrate feed containing 20% fermented banana corm; and P3: local grass + concentrate feed containing 30% fermented banana corm. The results found were : feed conversion P0 = 11.61 ± 1.55 P1 = 9.47 ± 2.12 P2 = 8.23 ± 0.36; P3 = 9.16 ± 1.37 feed efficiency (%) P0 = 8.72 ± 1.24 P1 = 10.90 ± 2.24 P2 = 12.17 ± 0.53 P3 = 11.10 ±1 .82; and protien efficiency (%) P0 = 44.67±0.301; P1= 53.85 ± 0.43 ; P2 = 59.39 ± 0.07 ; P3 = 55.89 ± 0.27. Statical analysis shows that the effect of treatment is not significant (P>0.05) on all variables studied. The conclusion is that including containing Saccharomices cerevisiae fermented banana corm performs the similar results in feed conversion, feed efficiency and protein efficiency of local ewee. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh substitusi jagung giling dengan tepung tongkol jagung hasil fermentasi khamir Saccharomyces cerevisiae (TTJF) dalam pakan konsentrat terhadap produksi VFA parsial (asam asetat, asam propionat dan asam butirat). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah Perlakuan tersebut adalah P0 = konsentrat tanpa TTJF (sebagai kontrol); P1 = konsentrat + 10%TTJF menggantikan jagung giling; P2 = 20%TTJF menggantikan jagung giling; dan P3 = 20%TTJF menggantikan jagung giling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rataan perlakuan konsentrasi asam asetat (mM) P0 = 17,87 0,10; P1 = 17,04 0,12; P2 = 16,26 0,49; P3 = 15,95 0,58; rataan konsentrasi asam propionat (mM) P0 = 9,53 0,23; P1 = 11,03 0,34; P2 = 9,77 0,17; P3 = 8,76 0,84 dan rataan konsentrasi asam butirat (mM) adalah P0 = 7,17 0,83; P1 = 7,00 0,77; P2 = 4,68 0,20 dan P3 = 4,55 0,31. Hasil analisis Ragam (ANOVA) menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap nilai konsentrasi VFA parsial. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah penggunaan 20% tepung tongkol jagung terfementasi Saccharomyces cerevisiae mesubstitusi 66. 67% dari 30% jagung giling dalam konsentrat meningkatkan konsentrasi asam propionat, memberikan hasil yang relatif sama terhadap konsentrasi asam butirat dan menurunkan konsentrasi asam asetat.. Kata kunci : fermentasi, Saccharomyces, tongkol jagung, VFA The aim of the research was to evaluatee the effect of corn mills substitution with Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermented corn cob meal (CCF) in concentrate feed on partial VFA production (acetic acid, propionate acid and butirate acid). Trial method using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) 4 treatments with 3 replicates was applied. The treatments were P0 = concentrate without FCF (control); P1 = concentrate + 10% FCF substituting corn meal; P2 = concentrate + 20% FCF substituting corn meal; and P3 = concentrate + 30% FCF substituting corn meal. The average results obtained were: acetic acid concentration (mM) P0 = 17.87 0.10; P1 = 17.04 0.12; P2 = 16.26 0.49; P3 = 15.95 0.58; propionate acid concentration (mM) P0 = 9.53 0.23; P1 = 11.03 0.34; P2 = 9.77 0.17; P3 = 8.76 0.84; and butyric acid concentration (mM) is P0 = 7.17 0.83; P1 = 7.00 0.77; P2 = 4.68 0.20 and P3 = 4.55 0.31. Statistical analysis shows that effect of treatmenthad is highly significant (P<0.01) on partial VFA concentration. The conclusion is that using 20% fermented corn cob meal substituting 66.67% corn meal in the concentrate feed increase the concentration of propionic acid, performs the similar results in butyric acid but decreases acetic acid concentration.
