Abstract

MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) as one of the factors driving the economy inIndonesia are experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic crisis which has led to the activities of theIndonesian people. This will indirectly affect the activities of human life, including the buyingand selling process. Buying and selling activities that are usually carried out face-to-face can notbe carried out normally due to activities from the government so that it indirectly affects the salesresults of business actors, including MSME actors. During this pandemic, there was a verysignificant decline and caused deep anxiety for MSME actors such as payment of employeesalaries, daily operational costs, and others. The existence of this phenomenon or incident hasresulted in MSMEs having to rack their brains in order to survive in the midst of the ongoingcrisis. In order to continue to survive, MSMEs use social media to promote sales, or make salesonline with social media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of social mediaadoption on the performance of MSMEs. This research method is carried out in several stageswhich include problems, literature review about the research model, research design, makinginstruments that produce questionnaires. The result of this study is produces a research modelrelated to the adoption of social media on the performance of MSMEs which is supported by the dependent variable of the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework, as well as aquestionnaire.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce demands user-friendly interfaces to ensure optimal user experience. Application X still exhibits usability issues, including ineffective search functionality, difficulty accessing customer service, and unintuitive navigation, indicating that the interface does not adequately support ease of use. This study aims to analyze the evaluation of usability and user experience on mobile e-commerce applications by integrating Cognitive Walkthrough (CW) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). CW was used to identify usability issues through task-based scenarios, while UEQ measured user perceptions across six dimensions: attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, reliability, stimulation, and novelty. Data were collected from 20 respondents using purposive sampling. The results reveal task errors and failures, reflecting low efficiency and usability. UEQ findings indicate that clarity and stimulation are above average, while efficiency, novelty, reliability, and attractiveness remain low. These results confirm that poor usability significantly degrades user experience, highlighting the need for interface design improvements.

Abstract

Indonesia, a mega-biodiverse nation with 53 national parks, including 12 on Java Island, hosts an immense variety of flora and fauna, particularly within the Nymphalidae butterfly family. However, the country's vast geographical complexity makes the understanding, classification, and management of information about these butterflies highly challenging, leading to fragmented and difficult-to-process data. This research aims to address this problem by constructing an ontology-based knowledge base to enable effective information reuse, integration, and semantic processing of Nymphalidae butterfly data from Java's national parks. The methodology employed the Methontology framework, which structured the development process into detailed stages: specification, conceptualization, formalization, implementation, and maintenance. The ontology was formally built using the Web Ontology Language (OWL) and the Resource Description Framework (RDF), with development and implementation carried out using the Protégé tool. Data integration and querying were facilitated through the application of semantic web standards, including SPARQL for retrieving information. The results yielded a structured semantic model for Nymphalidae butterflies in Java, comprising 7 classes, 4 object properties, and 4 data type properties. A critical evaluation using the HermiT Reasoner confirmed the ontology's logical consistency, proving the model to be sound. The primary contribution of this study is a validated, interoperable ontology that provides a standardized framework for organizing butterfly information, thereby facilitating better data sharing, integration, and knowledge management for biodiversity conservation and research efforts in Indonesia.
