Abstract

The development of 'Aisyiyah as a Muhammadiyah women's organization in West Java, especially Tasikmalaya, cannot be separated from the efforts and active role of the missionary since its inception in 1935 until now as Ahmad Dahlan hopes in encouraging women to pursue education, both in general and religious formal education. The struggle and movement of 'Aisyiyah are continuously carried out to benefit the community. This is due to the many problems faced by women and their families in various aspects of life. Asyiyah activities can be classified as community social service activities. The 'Aisyiyah movement in social services does not view 'money' as a goal, but rather gives benefits and wants to get the pleasure of Allah SWT. According to Suparlan, "Service is an effort to provide assistance or assistance to other people, both material and non-material so that other people can solve their problems" (Suparlan, 1983). The purpose of this study is to find out, in general, the role that has been felt by the community regarding the activities that have been carried out by 'Aisyiyah in the City of Tasikmalaya to help the community in social services and the specific purpose of knowing the role of 'Aisyiyah in the City of Tasikmalaya in social services in the fields of education and public health. The method of this research is a descriptive quantitative method of survey type.

Abstract

Abstract The lack of supporting learning media makes it difficult for students to understand the discharge material so that it affects the work of various practice questions. This development and research aims to create a product in the form of an android-based learning media application that can be used in learning mathematics with discharge materials. This study uses the Research and Development method with the Borg and Gall model with 10 stages. This study used a simple random sampling technique which was carried out at SDN Karikil in class V students with a total of 47 people. The data analysis technique in this study used quantitative and qualitative descriptive statistical analysis techniques, and used data collection such as interviews, questionnaires and tests. The development of learning media for the Android-based Serena application has met the appropriate criteria. The results of this study showed a significant change, the experimental class got an average score of n-gain "0.82" or 82% in the "high" or "effective" category, while the control class got an average score of n -gain “0.24” or 24% or “ineffective” category. Thus, the results of the research that have been obtained using n-gain can be said that the learning media of the Android-based Serena application is feasible and effective to use in mathematics lessons on discharge material in class V SDN Karikil. Abstrak Kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menunjang menjadikan peserta didik sulit memahami materi debit sehingga berpengaruh terhadap pengerjaan latihan soal yang beragam. Pengembangan dan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah produk berupa media pembelajaran aplikasi serena berbasis android yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika materi debit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model Borg and Gall dengan 10 tahapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling yang dilaksanakan di SDN Karikil pada siswa kelas V dengan jumlah 47 orang. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif, dan menggunakan pengumpulan data seperti wawancara, angket dan tes. Pengembangan media pembelajaran aplikasi serena berbasis android telah memenuhi kriteria layak. Hasil penelitian ini terjadi perubahan yang signifikan, pada kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai rata-rata skor n-gain “0,82” atau 82% dengan kategori “tinggi” atau kategori “efektif”, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol mendapatkan nilai rata-rata skor n-gain “0,24” atau 24% atau kategori “tidak efektif”. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian yang telah diperoleh menggunakan n-gain dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran aplikasi serena berbasis android layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pelajaran matematika materi debit di kelas V SDN Karikil.
