Abstract

The goal of this study is to see how the halal label, product quality, and pricing affect purchase decisions. The halal label (X1), product quality (X2), and pricing were the independent factors in this study (X3). Purchasing decisions for Wardah brand cosmetics are the dependent variable in this study. This study used 80 respondents from the Wardah consumer population in the city of Lhokseumawe as a sample. Primary data or direct use of a questionnaire were used to obtain data in this study. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed as the method of analysis. The f test and the t test are the hypothesis tests used in this investigation.

Abstract

National economic development, apart from bringing positive economic growth among the ummah, also creates socio-economic disparities between large, medium and small entrepreneurs. This situation is certainly not good for the Islam community in particular and the Indonesian nation.  So the revival and progress of the Muslim economy must be a supporting factor for the revitalization of entrepreneurship in building the economy of the Ummah.  For this reason, a solution to the economic system is needed that is further away from the true essence of justice.  The emergence of various innovations in the world of entrepreneurship in the field of sharia-based economics, the formation of a network of Islamic economic institutions, the implementation of various human resource development trainings to produce reliable and professional entrepreneurs but not to lose their faith and national identity, are dreams and aspirations to revitalize entrepreneurship in building  the economy of the people.

Abstract

Qualitative research is a systematic and analytic research or research that builds a cultural reconstruction of a group of people where the culture is a reflection of the view of the human group as a whole society. Qualitative research is still relatively foreign to most lecturers and students. In fact, this research is as scientific as quantitative research, although with a different meaning. Qualitative research arises because there is a change in the paradigm in viewing a reality, phenomenon or symptom. In this paradigm, social reality is seen as something holistic, complex, dynamic, and full of meaning.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi tidak hanya perlu dilihat sebagai pusat ilmu pengetahuan, pusat penelitian, dan pusat pengabdian kepada masyarakat, tetapi juga suatu entitas korporat  ‘’penghasil ilmu pengetahuan’’ yang perlu ‘’bersaing’’ untuk menjamin kelangsungan hidup. Persaingan, sebagaimana dialami oleh perusahaan profit, meliputi persaingan di bidang mutu, harga, dan layanan. Perguruan tinggi sebagai suatu entitas non-profit, menghadapi hal yang sama pula. Pengelolaan semuanya memerlukan pengetahuan dan keterampilan manajemen, yaitu manajemen pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

Humanistic theory emphasizes equal development of student’s cognitive and affective aspects. In a humanistic teaching, students have to study and record the progress the have made by themselves. Although the theory has not yet been implemented in our college setting, it can actually be applied in the interaction between the lecturer and students in the classroom. The lecturer gives the freedom and responsibility to the students to study and functions as a fasilitator, who facilities the students to freely express their feeling and emotions.
