Abstract

Pemanfaatan buah papaya (Carica papaya L.) selama ini banyak dikonsumsi sebagai buah segar dan olahan, namun pemanfaatan terhadap biji papaya tidak termanfaatkan dan hanya terbuang tersebut dapat memiliki nilai apabila mendapatkan perlakuan dan inovasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan formulasi kopi biji papaya dengan penambahan cokelat dan jahe yang disukai oleh konsumen. Formulasi kopi biji papaya menggunakan bahan tambahan berupa bubuk cokelat dan bubuk jahe. Variasi komposisi diantaranya adalah 426, 247, 573, 361, 475 dan 253 dengan jumlah konsentrasi bubuk kopi (60;70 dan 80%) dan konsentrasi bubuk cokelat dan bubuk jahe (40;30 dan 20%). Analisis berupa uji sensori menggunakan uji rating hedonic meliputi atribut rasa, aroma, kekentalan, warna, dan keseluruhan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa dari keenam formulasi kopi biji papaya formula 253 memiliki rata-rata tertinggi pada tiga parameter yaitu warna, kekentalan dan keseluruhan.

Abstract

Pisang batu termasuk pisang kelas rendah yang tidak dapat langsung dimakan dalam bentuk segar tetapi ketika buahnya masak mempunyai rasa yang manis dan bau yang harum. Pengolahan pasca panen komoditi pisang batu menjadi keripik pisang batu sering sekali mengalami kerusakan, baik pada saat proses produksi, pengemasan maupun saat penyimpanan sebelum didistribusikan. Pengendalian mutu merupakan pengukuran kinerja produk, membandingkan dengan standar dan spesifikasi produk, serta melakukan tindakan koreksi apabila terdapat penyimpangan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan melalui penggunaan alat analisis pengendalian mutu berupa diagram Sebab-akibat atau Fishbone Analysis, diagram Pareto dan grafik Kendali yang didukung dengan metode AHP. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di UMKM XYZ yang memproduksi keripik pisang batu di Desa Bangelan Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Malang. Keripik pisang batu dengan jenis kerusakan patah (45.07) merupakan persentase kerusakan produk tertinggi dari keseluruhan kerusakan produk keripik pisang batu, kemudian gosong (42.99) dan kecil (11.93). Prioritas utama strategi peningkatan mutu menggunakan metode AHP pada proses produksi keripik pisang batu adalah Pendampingan pengendalian mutu oleh Tenaga Ahli.

Abstract

This cubeb research aims to determine the distribution and utilization of the cubeb plant in Sumbermanjing Kulon RPH. Observations of cubebs were carried out along plot 101 at Sumbermanjing Kulon RPH. This study used survey methods and direct observation in the field. This data collection technique used interpretation transects and 10 x 10 m plots. Construction of a 1000 m long observation transect line of cubeb (piper cubeba), then to determine the point of spread of cubeb (piper cubeba) using qualitative descriptive analysis. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Morisita index method. The Morisita Index (Id) is most often used to measure the distribution pattern of a species or population because the calculation results are not affected by differences in the mean value and the size of the sampling unit. The results showed that the distribution between cubebs was fairly even, although at some points the distribution of cubeb was not found, this was due to human or animal intervention which resulted in each span of distance.

Abstract

Transformational leadership has become one of the prominent topics in management and organizational research due to its significant impact on organizational effectiveness and team performance (Shafiyah et al., 2023). In an increasingly dynamic and complex work environment, the need for leaders who are able to inspire, motivate, and empower their teams is essential to increase productivity and innovation. This study aims at the relationship between transformational leadership style and various team performance indicators, including productivity, innovation, job satisfaction, and team commitment to the organization.This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design to examine the relationship between transformational leadership and team performance in the workplace. The sample size is 66 employees from several departments with sample criteria, namely those who have work experience under the leadership of a transformational leader for at least one year.Based on the results in table 2, the results of the regression test (p-value 0.000) of transformational leadership on team performance show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant influence on team performance. Meanwhile, team motivation also has a positive influence on team performance (p-value 0.000) indicating that team motivation also improves performance. Transformational leadership has a significant and positive influence on team performance in the work environment. Transformational leadership encourages intrinsic team motivation through inspiration, idealized influence, and intellectual empowerment, which in turn increases team productivity and performance quality.It can be concluded that organizations must focus on developing transformational leadership and creating a work environment that supports the intrinsic motivation of team members.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent of the influence of compensation and work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Using primary data obtained through questionnaire collection with a sample of 56 employee respondents. The method used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study conclude that compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (t-statistic 2.059 > t-table 1.96; p = 0.044). The work environment also has a significant effect on job satisfaction (t-statistic 3.096 > t-table 1.96; p = 0.003). However, compensation (t-statistic 1.054 < t-table 1.96; p = 0.297) and work environment (t-statistic 0.853 < t-table 1.96; p = 0.397) do not have a significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction significantly affects performance (t-statistic 4.617 > t- table 1.96; p = 0.000). The work environment significantly affects performance through job satisfaction (t-statistic 2.227 > t-table 1.96; p = 0.030). 1) That partially, there is a significant positive effect of compensation on job satisfaction and the work environment on job satisfaction. Whereas compensation towards employee performance and work environment towards employee performance are partially positively insignificant. This indicates that partially, there is a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance, job satisfaction does not mediate compensation on employee performance, and job satisfaction mediates the work environment on employee performance.
