Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic that hits the world, including in Indonesia, had a significant impact on the education sector because it had to change in learning methods, as it was originally delivered offline and now at present, it needs to be delivered online.This article aims to describe the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on reading skill learning (maharatul qira'ah), which currently also has to be carried out online. These changes certainly have an impact on the level of understanding of students, so thus, it is necessary to know to what extent the effectiveness of online learning is and whether the learning can be understood properly.The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The data collected was generated from online observation and survey instruments. While the objects studied were students majoring in Arabic Language Education at Malang Islamic University and Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang.The results of this study indicate that learning reading skill which is carried out online actually encourages students to read Arabic texts more often, learn language rules, new vocabulary, also use media and learning applications so that the material being taught can be better received and not boring, also students are more enthusiastic in following the lessons. Key words: Learning reading skill (maharatul qira'ah), Arabic, Online, Covid-19

Abstract

During this Covid-19 pandemic, the learning process at the Faculty of Islamic Science, University of Islam Malang, including Arabic language courses cannot be done directly (face to face) in order to avoid massive transmission of the virus, but must be done online (in a network). using various internet applications. The purpose of this study was to photograph the effectiveness of learning Arabic online. The method of data collection in this study was conducted through question and answer and interviews with the resource persons, namely lecturers and students as well as observation. The results of this study indicate that the Arabic language learning process at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Islamic University of Malang is quite effective, although there are some shortcomings related to technical mastery of application operations, expensive data quotas and also difficult class control, so a more innovative learning model is needed. so that the lessons given can be understood properly.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengadaan tempat sampah sebagai langkah preventif untuk mengatasi sampah rumah tangga ini dilaksanakan di dusun bangsri desa Patokpicis. Langkah ini merupakan salah satu upaya yang signifikan dalam menangani masalah kebersihan lingkungan desa. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan oleh kelompok Kandidat Sarjana Mengabdi- Tematik (KSM-T) kelompok 37 yang terdiri dari 11 anggota  diantarany: Nadim Ahmad Maulana, M. Shoikhul Ghomam, M. Hasan Ali Asadili , M. Alifian Aldinauri, Januario da Costa  Neves xinenes, Genta Arya Hutama,  Ana Rifatul Hanifah, Sinta Romadhon, ⁠Putri Sabna Naza Alivia, Mawerdeh, Alif Mushollina Bintang Sakti, dengan tujuan membantu mengatasi permasalaan sampah rumah tangga. Permasalahan sampah merupakan tantangan yang mendesak dalam konteks lingkungan, dengan dampaknya yang merugikan terhadap kesehatan manusia, kualitas udara, dan menurunnya estetika lingkungan. Sampah hasil dari aktivitas sehari-hari baik rumah tangga maupun industri, sering kali terabaikan karena kurangnya fasilitas tempat sampah dan rendahnya kesadaran individu. Peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan dapat membantu meningkatkan kepatuhan masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Melalui program kerja ini, masyarakat Dusun Bangsri akan diberi contoh mengenai pentingnya penggunaan dan kepemilikan tempat sampah, dengan harapan dapat memicu kesadaran dan partisipasi aktif mereka. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah menyediakan infrastruktur yang memadai guna mengurangi dampak negatif dari penumpukan sampah di Dusun Bangsri. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pendistribusian tempat sampah dilakukan di beberapa titik di Dusun Bangsri dengan aspirasi agar dapat menjadi contoh bagi masyarakat dalam menerapkan pengelolaan sampah yang efektif. Penempatan tempat sampah di area publik bertujuan untuk memastikan aksesibilitasnya bagi seluruh masyarakat. Harapannya, keberadaan tempat sampah ini akan menjadi contoh bagi masyarakat Dusun Bangsri untuk meneruskan praktek pembuatan tempat sampah yang lebih luas.
