Abstract

This research is started issues: what forms of subject matter learning model that can be developed to enhance students conceptual thinking skills for prospective professionals of Housing Engineering D3 Program? To be able to develop a teaching model, we need to investigate the characteristics of the subject matter, methods, approaches, evaluation tools, the types of developed conceptual thinking skills, support facilities and problems on the implementation of learning models, as well as the cost and time needed. The developed learning model is expected to increase the students conceptual thinking skills, improve the quality of graduates, and could be used as an example to be developed on similar subjects, and also enhance the professional competence of Housing Engineering D3 program graduates to later compete on the working field. Therefore it is necessary to pay attention on the learning facilities and student learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian Program Pengembangan Kelompok Bidang Keilmuan (PPKBK) ini sebagai lanjutan dari PPKBK sebelumnya. Fokus penelitian yaitu pada perencanaan dan perancangan desa wisata Kampung Tajur Kahuripan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya Desa Wisata di Kabupaten Purwakarta yang memiliki ciri khas Arsitektur Sunda, padahal hal tersebut dapat meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) dari sektor pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat perencanaan dan perancangan desa wisata berbasiskan Arsitektur Tradisional Sunda dalam rangka mendukung program Visit West Java Year dan Visit Indonesia Year 2014-2019. Lokasi penelitian di Kampung Tajur Kahuripan Kecamatan Bojong Kabupaten Purwakarta Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metoda penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif, dengan cara mengobservasi dan menggali potensi Kampung Tajur Kahuripan dan masyarakatnya untuk dijadikan masukan dalam merencanakan dan merancang desa wisata.Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan dua rumusan penting, yaitu: (1) Perencanaan desa wisata (planning) yang meliputi: master plan dan site plan yang di dalamnya terdiri dari penyediaan fasilitas bagi wisatawan, pengembangan potensi, pemintakatan fungsi, serta penghijauan; (2) Perancangan desa wisata (design) yang meliputi: rancangan tipologi bangunan penghuni dan wisatawan berbasiskan arsitektur Tradisional Sunda, seperti: imah panggung, leuit, saung lisung, bale sarwaguna, homestay, mesjid, warung souvenir, gazebo, dan lain sebagainya. Bentuk atap bangunan yang meliputi: julang ngapak, jolopong, capit gunting, sontog, badak heuay, dan tagog anjing. Konsep perencanaan dan perancangan Desa Wisata Tajur Kahuripan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur Tradisional Sunda, mulai dari bentuk sampai dengan material. Kehidupan sosial dan budaya masyarakatnya menjadi faktor penting sebagai daya tarik bagi wisatawan, seperti: proses menggarap sawah, sikap gotong royong, menjaga lingkungan, toleransi antar warga, kesenian tradisional, serta pelaksanaan berbagai upacara tradisi sebagi siklus kehidupan. Kampung Tajur Kahuripan memenuhi kriteria untuk diusulkan sebagai kawasan wisata dengan konsep arsitektur Tradisional Sunda.

Abstract

Abstract – Research PPKBK 2014 (phase II) as acontinuation of the previous. The research focus is the planning and design of the tourism village of Kampung Tajur Kahuripan. This research into the link between the desire of the Government of Purwakarta Regency Village Tajur Kahuripan plans to develop into a tourist village in West Java support the Visit Year and Visit Indonesia Year 2014-2015. This research aims to make the planning and design of the tourist village based Sundanese Traditional of Architecture. Research sites in Kampung Tajur Kahuripan Bojong District of Purwakarta. Research method using descriptive-qualitative approach, by observing and exploring the potential of Kampung Tajur Kahuripan and communities to provide inputin the planning and designing tourist village. These results have two important formulas, namely: (1) Planning tourist village which includes: master plan, site plan which involves a series of provision of facilities for tourists, development potential, zoning functions, as well as reforestation; (2) The design of the tourist village which include: the design of the building occupants and visitors typology based on Sundanese Traditional of Architecture, such as: imah panggung, leuit, saung lisung, bale sarwaguna, homestay, and so forth. The shape of the roof of the building which includes: julang ngapak, jolopong, capit gunting, sontog, badak heuay, and tagog anjing. The concept of planning and design of Village Tourism of Tajur Kahuripan with the inspiration Sundanese Traditional of Architectural. Social and cultural life of the community is an important factoras an attraction for tourists, such as: the process of working the fields, the attitude of mutual cooperation, protecting the environment, tolerance between people, traditional arts, as well as atraditional ceremonies implementation life cycle. Keywords – tourism village, inspiration, planning-design, attraction, facilities
