Abstract

The learning process of the 21st century has been a hot topic lately. In reality educators face a big challenge because in this era the concept of modern learning has emerged that collaborates learning with special skills that must be possessed by students. Therefore, researchers want to discuss the planning, implementation and evaluation of learning in the 21st century in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education class XI MIA 2 at Al Maarif State Elementary School.The study was conducted with the type of qualitative research. Data collection procedures are carried out using observation methods that observe the entire learning process in the classroom along with educators and students. Both methods of interviews are conducted with the Principal, teachers, and students. The three documentation methods require several documents from the resource person to be used as data processing material.In this study the teacher has planned learning by collaborating learning with 21st century concepts. In addition, in planning learning, the teacher analyzes the character of students for the selection of models, methods, and learning strategies. In its implementation the teacher has used a variety of methods to develop students' skills and use modern tools in learning. Learning evaluation is done by the teacher by using authentic assessment with test and non-test techniques. Teacher evaluation is carried out by the Principal by supervising so that learning can be better and developing than before.
