Abstract

Peer Group is a group of peers who interact with each other and influence the formation of attitudes, values and behaviors both in social activities, education, and shared hobbies, this can have positive or negative impacts on adolescents. The positive impacts of peer groups such as increasing learning motivation, discipline in rules, positive emotional encouragement towards social to make a teenager more independent, but this can also have negative impacts including uncontrolled free association, truancy behavior from school, cheating on exams, smoking, premarital free association, hedonism, consumptive and bullying behavior which is psychological violence behavior both verbally and non-verbally. This study aims to determine the relationship between peer groups and verbal bullying of adolescents. The results of the study obtain that the majority of peer groups were in the strong category as many as 75 respondents (98.7%) and Verbal bullying was found, verbal bullying do not occur as many as 68 respondents (89.5%). Data analysis using the Fisher exact test, the results of the statistical test obtains a p-value = 1.000 which means that there is no relationship between the role of peer groups and verbal bullying. It is hoped that SMA Santo Yosef Medan students will be able to increase positive peer groups.

Abstract

Self-efficacy merupakan kepercayaan individu akan kemampuannya dalam melakukan tugas atau perawatan diri yang memiliki peran penting dalam menjamin perawatan diri yang lebih baik pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik. Pasien dengan self-efficacy rendah cenderung mengalami kendali dan kepercayaan diri yang minim sehingga berisiko mengalami perkembangan masalah emosional dan sosial termasuk kecemasan dan depresi. Determinan self-efficacy terdiri dari faktor eksternal dan internal yang dapat meningkatkan kelangsungan hidup dan optimisme pasien gagal ginjal kronik, meliputi pengalaman pribadi, modeling sosial, persuasi verbal, serta kondisi fisik dan emosi. Data Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan tahun 2024 menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan jumlah pasien hemodialisa dengan 79 pasien baru dan 3.050 kunjungan hemodialisa pada periode Januari-Juni 2024, namun belum terdapat data komprehensif mengenai determinan self-efficacy pasien tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi determinan self-efficacy pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisa di Rumah Sakit Santa Elisabeth Medan tahun 2024, khususnya dalam mengidentifikasi keempat komponen determinan self-efficacy tersebut. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif cross-sectional. Sampel berjumlah 65 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner self-efficacy yang diadopsi dan dimodifikasi dari penelitian Dewi (2019) yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, mencakup 23 pernyataan yang terdiri dari 5 pernyataan pengalaman pribadi, 6 pernyataan modeling sosial, 6 pernyataan persuasi verbal, dan 6 pernyataan kondisi fisik-emosi. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner langsung oleh responden selama bulan November 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan determinan self-efficacy secara keseluruhan berada dalam kategori tinggi (92%), dengan distribusi komponen: persuasi verbal kategori tinggi (95,4%), modeling sosial kategori tinggi (90,8%), kondisi fisik-emosi kategori tinggi (90,8%), dan pengalaman pribadi kategori tinggi (83,1%). Karakteristik responden menunjukkan mayoritas berusia 56-65 tahun (36%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki (58%), berpendidikan SMA (40%), dan telah menjalani hemodialisa >24 bulan (39%). Kesimpulan penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi determinan self-efficacy pada keempat komponen telah menunjukkan hasil positif, dengan persuasi verbal sebagai komponen tertinggi yang mengindikasikan pentingnya dukungan keluarga dan lingkungan dalam meningkatkan keyakinan diri pasien untuk menjalani terapi hemodialisa secara optimal dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien gagal ginjal kronik.

Abstract

Motor function is a function consisting of two components of motor response to stimuli and motor coordination strength. The type of research in this study is descriptive with a quantitative research design, with a population of 34 respondents, the sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The instrument used was a motor function observation sheet. It was obtained that the majority of respondents were in the motor function with the TRACE category, namely 17 respondents (50%) motor function with the NORMAL category with a total of 13 respondents (38.2%), motor function with the POOR category, with a total of 3 respondents (8.8%), and the lowest was the respondent with the FAIR motor function category, namely 1 respondent (2.9%). Based on the research and data processing that has been carried out regarding Motor Function in Non-Hemorrhagic Stroke Patients at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan in 2024, totaling 34 respondents, it was concluded that Based on the research results obtained from 3-4 respondents regarding the Description of Superior and Inferior Dextra Motor Function in Non-Hemorrhagic Stroke Patients at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan in 2024, the majority of respondents were in the motor function with the TRACE category with no limb movements at all.
