Abstract

Abstract Nusantara Islam is ala Indonesian Islam, a combination of theological values of Islam and Local traditions of Nusantara. The characteristics of Nusantara Islam show local wisdom in Nusantara which does not disobey Islamic teaching, yet they synergize it to local customs all over Indonesia. The coming of Islam in Nusantara did not break nor challenge the local traditions but it enriched and simultaneously Islamized them. The constant contact between local traditions and Islamic soul resulted in mutual binding and complement to form an excellent character believed and preserved from generation to generation for centuries. Hence, the value had been so close and attached to Indonesian character. For years such character stayed in the womb of Nusantara Islam and ready to be born, and then Bung Karno together with the nation founding fathers helped the birth of this nation value as the foundation of Indonesian Independence. This was the most wanted Pancasila which is believed now has been left by Indonesians and some faults and deviations on the life of state management and social system occurred. Muslims, therefore, must be responsible for this and take strategic steps at once to face this by carrying out the right and precise Islamic education.

Abstract

Islamic education is a long life process in digging and performing Islamic values of (raḥmatan li al-’alamīn). It is also long-life attempts to excavate raḥmatan values amid the challenges of modernity and thoughts. This article discusses Islamic education from a philosophical perspective. This study found that ontologically theessence of Islamic education is on the process, while epestemoligically it requires the interaction between ratio and revelation. Axiologically, Islamic education should bring dignity, prominence, and happiness both in the word and the hereafter. This is what the so-called a ‘two in one’ concept and the key is ‘lillāh.Keywords: Pendidikan Agama Islam, Filsafat, Raḥmatan li al-’Alamīn

Abstract

slam and philosophy are two different terms in which the first refers to a religion, which absolute truth overcomes all space and time, brought by Allah’s most beloved Prophet, Muhammad SAW. The latter represents human activity in utilizing their intellect, optimizing their consciousness to reach understanding on any existence. Thus, this paper attempts to explore the belief that Islam must have established a set of implementation and technical guidance for philosophy. This paper aims to avoid ambiguity and confusion to determine the truth as seen in the history of philosophy. This paper argues that Islamic philoshopy provides an alternative to tackle with crisis as a result of ambiguity that rooted in the contemporary philosophy.Keywords: Islam, Contemporary Philosophy, Humanity

Abstract

Abstract Issues on education from developing countries have frequently followed inquiries uneasy to resolve. For example, in Indonesia, despite some resolved and mapped problems, the government tended to make changes to the maps based on their interests. This could lead to another issue beside the actual problem caused by the low educational services, educational quality, and higher education quality and the low level of students’ literacy ability. While waiting for the right solutions to such problems, other new issues emerged from online system in education due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Indonesia needs to have stronger efforts to improve its educational quality so that the education can truly be regarded as the transformation of knowledge and skills, not merely as a formality of certificate. Keywords: developing country, education, Indonesia, problems Abstrak Persoalan Pendidikan di negara berkembang selalu menyertakan berbagai pertanyaan yang tidak mudah dipecahkan. Di Indonesia misalnya, walaupun persoalan sudah bisa diurai dan dipetakan seringkali peta yang sudah dibuat masih selalu dirubah sesuai selera penguasa. Dan ini rupanya bisa menjadi persoalan tersendiri disamping problem sesungguhnya yang berkonten pada rendahnya layanan pendidikan, rendahnya mutu pendidikan, rendahnya mutu pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, dan rendahnya kemampuan literasi anak didik. Sementara problem tersebut belum tertangani dengan baik sudah ditambah bawaan masalah yang bermunculan dari diterapkannya sistem daring karena adanya Covid-19. Rasanya Indonesia harus berusaha lebih keras jika ingin meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sehingga benar-benar bisa diterima bahwa pendidikan sebagai transformasi pengetahuan dan skill, tidak sekedar sebagai formalitas pencarian ijasah saja. Abstract

Abstract Discussion on the dynamic of the educational world has always been interesting because there is an plenty of issues that emerge in the process of humanizing humans. This can be the debate on the values or even the issues on how to create and strengthen the standard of value, particularly, when the value shift occurs. This article focuses on the policy of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka/MBKM (Freedom of Learning Independent Campus) which has been implemented for years based on the minister’s goodwill to give opportunities to university students to get experiences from different fields of study. Learning knowledge other than their expertise is something new and good only if its spirit is to approach the quality of knowledge professionalism. However, if this results in reducing the lessons or subjects students have to learn, they could, in the opposite way, direct students to move farther from professionalism. In addition, it is also hoped that students would not be imprisoned into the new style of capitalism modus. Keywords: anticipatory, critic, MBKM, optimism Abstrak Dinamika dunia Pendidikan sebenarnya selalu menarik untuk dibahas, karena dalam proses memanusiakan manusia sesungguhnya sarat dengan problematika tidak saja soal tarik-menarik antar nilai, lebih dari itu adalah bagaimana melahirkan dan menguatkan standar nilai terutama disaat terjadi pergeseran nilai. Artikel ini secara lebih khusus membahas tentang kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang telah berjalan beberapa tahun atas keinginan baik Menteri Nadiem memberi kesempatan pada mahasiswa untuk mendapat pengalaman lapangan bahkan pengetahuan lain diluar keahlian yang ditekuni adalah memang sesuatu yang baru dan baik. Yang demikian itu dinilai baik jika semangat pelaksanaannya adalah untuk mendekatkan pada kualitas profesionalisme ilmu. Namun jika yang terjadi adalah itu diambil dengan mengurangi porsi perkuliahan atau mata kuliah yang seharusnya ditempuh mahasiswa, maka sungguh bisa dikhawatirkan yang akan terjadi justru hal yang sebaliknya, menjauh dari profesionalisme ilmu dan terjebak pada modus kapitalisme gaya baru. Semoga hal demikian tidak akan terjadi kepada mahasiswa yang mengikuti kebijakan baru ini. Kata kunci: Antisipatif, kritik, MBKM, optimisme

Abstract

Building quality Islamic education institution has been an urgent demand nowadays, particularly with the increase of socio-political, economic, constitutional, and many other state problems which are called by the experts as a multidimension crisis. Hence, the educational sector, in this case is Islamic education institution, is one of the only hopes when other sectors experience crisis. As Islam is a perfect religion, so that an educational institution with the soul of Islam can be eligible to be called as the true Islamic education institution. Such institution, is believed by writer, will be able to solve most problems and demands in this multidimension crisis. The principles, mechanisms, and stages to take the soul of Islam is called as coagulation of education quality. Coagulation is a term in chemistry which could be simply understood as a unique process to purify water by putting a certain coagulant material, while quality is the degree of excellence in a product. Therefore, with this coagulation of education quality, Islamic education institutions are expected to be able to be the value basis for the creations of value dense products needed by other sectors experiencing multidimension crisis which is actually a value crisis. Keywords: coagulation of education quality, epistemological, Islamic education institution Membangun Lembaga Pendidikan Islam yang bermutu adalah suatu kebutuhan mendesak hari ini.  Tuntutan akan hal itu semakin terasa urgen saat melihat meningkatnya berbagai problem sosial-politik, problem ekonomi, problem ketata negaraan, dan setumpuk persoalan bangsa lainnya sampai-sampai banyak pakar menyebutnya sebagai krisis multi dimensi. Oleh sebab itu sektor Pendidikan spesifik dalam hal ini lembaga Pendidikan Islam sebenarnya adalah salah satu tumpuan harapan disaat sektor yang lain sedang mengalami krisis. Islam adalah agama yang sempurna, karenanya jika ‘Ruh Islam’berhasil dipakai oleh suatu lembaga Pendidikan maka lembaga Pendidikan tersebut layak disebut sebagai lembaga Pendidikan Islam sejati. Lembaga yang seperti inilah yang diyakini penulis akan mampu menjawab sebagian besar tuntutan zaman yang sedang mengalami krisis multi dimensi ini. Prinsip-prinsip, mekanisme, dan pentahapan dalam ‘pengambilan’ ruh Islam itulah yang penulis sebut dengan istilah “koagulasi mutu”pendidikan. Koagulasi adalah satu istilah dalam ilmu kimia yang secara sederhana bisa dipahami sebagai suatu proses unik dalam penjernihan air dengan memasukkan materi koagulan tertentu. Sementara mutu/ kualitas adalah kelayakan dari suatu produk. Maka dengan koagulasi mutu Pendidikan ini, Lembaga Pendidikan Islam diharapkan benar-benar mampu menjadi basis-nilai bagi lahirnya produk-produk padat-nilai yang dibutuhkan oleh sektor-sektor lain yang sedang mengalami krisis multi dimensi yang sesungguhnya adalah krisis nilai Kata kunci: Koagulasi mutu pendidikan, epistemologis, lembaga pendidikan Islam

Abstract

Dalam Islam, pendidikan agama Islam adalah hal yang sangat mendasar. Karena itu meninjaunya secara mendalam adalah hal yang juga mendasar. Tulisan ini akan berusaha meninjau dengan kacamata ontology, epistemology, dan axiology sehingga sampai pada pemahaman yang mendalam dalam melihat pendidikan agama Islam. Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah usaha sadar untuk mewariskan nilai-nilai Islam kepada generasi penerus agar kelak pada gilirannya juga bisa mewariskan nilai-nilai Islam secara lebih berkualitas dan begitu seterusnya. Menyoal nilai-nilai yang diwariskan inilah yang akan menjadi fokus pertama dalam pembahasan ini. Kedua, fokus yang akan diulas adalah bagaimana upaya (metode,teknik/ strategi) mewariskan nilai yang lebih berkualitas dari generasi ke generasi, berhadapan dengan budaya dan peradaban modern. Nilai- nilai Islam yang rahmatan lil -˜alamin sesungguhnya sudah menjadi kesepakatan diantara para sarjana, para -˜ulama, para guru, dan para pemuka agama. Namun tampaknya pembicaraan tentang katagori Islam Rahmatan lil -˜alamin hingga saat ini bisa dibilang belum selesai.
