Abstract

This research aims to find out how was the implementation of Treffinger learning model in teaching speaking skill. This research was applied for the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Madiun that consist of 26 students as sample in conducting the research. In collecting the data, research used observation to observe the implementation of Treffinger learning model during teaching learning process and used test to find the improvement of students’ speaking skill during implementation of Treffinger learning model.  The research finding showed that the implementation of Treffinger learning model can improve the students’ speaking skill. It can be concluded that Treffinger learning model is acceptable to be used as teaching learning model in teaching speaking.

Abstract

In daily life, we often communicate with others using different languages. As we know that every ethnic group in Indonesia have regional language so it makes people use their regional language as a daily language for communication. Sometimes, the difference of language for communication becomes an obstacle in the communication process. This condition of society certainly provides an opportunity for code mixing and code switching in communication. This research aimed to find out the code switching and code mixing form that happened in communication between lecturers of IAIN Ponorogo, both formal and informal. This research used a synchronic language research where this research conducted by observing language phenomena in a certain period of time. The research data were obtained using the listening method and the spoken method. The collected data were analyzed using the agih and equivalent methods. From the collected data, researcher found that code switching occurred in the form of language transfer from Javanese or other languages to Indonesian, from English to Javanese, and from English to Indonesia. Code mixing in lecturers' communication can be grouped into word insertion, phrase insertion and sentence insertion. Code switching can be found from Javanese code to Indonesian code. Besides, lecturers of IAIN Ponorogo used code mixing and code switching included regional language code like Javanese Ponorogo dialect, Javanese Surabaya dialect, Indonesian code, or English code.

Abstract

Abstract: Communication is the process of exchanging and sharing information. The type of communication that is most often used is interpersonal communication, this communication is carried out directly so this communication is considered effective in persuading other people, especially in the AR Fakhrudin Orphanage environment. This interpersonal communication is carried out continuously by caregivers because it is considered the most appropriate in fostering an attitude of social solidarity in foster children. This research aims to find out how caregivers implement interpersonal communication with foster children, the driving and inhibiting factors, as well as the results of implementing interpersonal communication developed by caregivers in fostering an attitude of social solidarity in foster children. For this type of research that is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Researchers obtained data from interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the research show that there is a humanistic approach, namely immediacy, openness, empathy, supportive attitude, equality, for the driving factors namely the important role of the caregiver, as well as a strong desire in the child. foster. The inhibiting factors are the attitudes and behavior of foster children, and the parenting patterns of parents when at home. Meanwhile, the results of the implementation are proven by the increasing awareness of foster children who are starting to actively participate, attitudes of social solidarity are also increasing through cooperative activities that are trained every day by caregivers, whether carried out with both of them or with fellow foster children. Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Social Solidarity, Foster Children Abstrak: Komunikasi adalah yaitu proses saling bertukar dan berbagi informasi. Jenis komunikasi yang paling sering digunakan adalah komunikasi interpersonal, komunikasi ini dilakukan secara langsung sehingga komunikasi ini dianggap efektif untuk bisa membujuk orang lain, terutama di lingkungan Panti Asuhan AR Fakhrudin. Komunikasi interpersonal ini dilakukan terus menerus oleh pengasuh karena dianggap paling tepat dalam menumbuhkan sikap solidaritas sosial anak asuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan komunikasi interpersonal pengasuh kepada anak asuh, faktor pendorong dan penghambatnya, serta hasil dari penerapan komunikasi interpersonal yang dibangun pengasuh dalam menumbuhkan sikap solidaritas sosial anak asuh. Untuk jenis penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti mendapatkan data dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pendekatan humanistic, yakni kesegeraan (immediacy), keterbukaan (openness), empati (empathy), sikap mendukung (supportiveness), kesetaraan (equality), untuk faktor pendorong yakni adanya peran penting dari pengasuh, serta keinginan kuat dalam diri anak asuh. Untuk faktor penghambatnya yakni sikap dan perilaku anak asuh, dan pola asuh orang tua ketika di rumah. Sedangkan hasil dari penerapan dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya kesadaran anak asuh mulai aktif berpartisipasi, sikap solidaritas sosial juga meningkat lewat aktivitas kerja sama yang sudah dilatih setiap harinya oleh pengasuh baik itu dilakukan dengan keduanya ataupun dengan sesama anak asuh. Abstract

Desember 2024, media sosial diramaikan dengan pemberitaan Gus Miftah yang sedang bertemu dengan penjual es the dimana Gus Miftah memberikan pernyataan kepada penjual es teh. “Es tehmu sek okeh ra? Masih? Yo kono di dol Goblok. Dol en disik engko lek ga payu yauwes takdir” dengan tertawa terbahak-bahak. Potongan video tersebut terjadi pada saat acara tabligh akbar Magelang bersholawat. Kejadian tersebut menjadi viral dan banyak diperbincangkan oleh Masyarakat serta mempengaruhi citra Gus Miftah sebagai pendakwah yang popular pada saat ini. Peneliti tertarik untuk menganalisis tentang sejauh mana pengaruh pemberitaan Gus Miftah tentang penjual es teh terhadap citra Gus Miftah sebagai pendakwah. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakann teori S-O-R untuk diteliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Berdasarkan hasil nilai regresi linier sederhana diperoleh hasil tingkat nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka ada pengaruh variabel (X) pemberitaan Gus Miftah terhadap variabel (Y) citra pendakwah. Pada uji koefisiensi determinasi menunjukkan besarnya nilai diperoleh koefisiensi determinasi (R square) yaitu sebesar 0,341. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberitaan tentang Gus Miftah tentang penjual es teh mempengaruhi citra Gus Miftah sebagai pendakwah sebanyak 34% Sehingga, penelitian ini juga memiliki kontribusi untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai bagaimana pemberitaan di media dapat membentuk citra tokoh di mata publik.
