Abstract

Abstrak. Potensi hasil perikanan terutama ikan memerlukan sentuhan teknologi untuk memanfaatkan sumberdaya alam. Berdasarkan kondisi sekarang, dimana sejak 2 Maret 2020, pemerintah mengumumkan adanya kasus virus Covid 19 di Indonesia, salah satu kebijakan pemerintah yaitu Work From Home (WFH). Peran akademisi Politeknik Negeri Fakfak dalam membantu penanggulangan Covid 19, yaitu melaksanakan pengabdian dengan metode keterampilan atau drill and practice melalui ceramah dan praktek langsung sesuai kompetensi yang ingin dicapai agar tetap memperoleh nilai penjualan yang tinggi. Mitra kegiatan adalah para istri dari kelompok nelayan sebanyak 10 orang. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan softskill dan hardskil dan diharapkan dapat memberikan tambahan berupa pendapatan keuangan melalui penjulan. Hasil kegiatan berjalan sesuai dengan yang ditentukan, mitra memperoleh peningkatan softskill sekitar 80% yaitu mampu berkomunikasi, bertoleransi dan bahkan keterampilan kemandiriaan seperti kewirausahaan (enterprenurship) dan hardskill sekitar 90% yaitu mitra mendapatkan keterampilan mengenai teknik pembuatan produk ikan tenggiri yang dilengkapi dengan cara pengemasan serta cara pemasarannya.Abstract: The potential of fishery products, especially fish, requires a touch of technology to utilize natural resources. Based on current conditions, since March 2, 2020, the government has announced cases of the Covid 19 virus in Indonesia, one of the government's policies is Work From Home (WFH). The role of Fakfak State Polytechnic academics in helping to overcome Covid 19, namely carrying out service with the skill method or drill and practice through lectures and direct practice according to the competencies to be achieved in order to continue to obtain high sales values. The partners of the activity are the wives of a group of 10 fishermen. This activity aims to improve soft skills and hard skills and is expected to provide additional financial income through sales. The results of the activity went according to what was determined, partners obtained an increase in soft skills of around 80%, namely being able to communicate, tolerate and even independent skills such as entrepreneurship and hard skills of around 90%, namely partners gaining skills regarding the technique of making mackerel fish products equipped with packaging and packaging methods. way of marketing.
