Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of Shopee and Tiktok users increased. Users use the Tiktok application as a source of information about the products they will buy on Shopee e-commerce. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) on online consumer buying interest. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method using a questionnaire measuring instrument. A total of 116 TikTok and Shopee users in the Greater Bandung area were involved in this study. Furthermore, data analysis using the SPSS v.26 application checks the validity and reliability tests, normality, and simple regression analysis. The results of data analysis showed that electronic word of mouth (eWOM) has a positive and significant influence on online consumer buying interest.

Abstract

The objectives of this project are: (1) Knowing the initial conditions of managing credit sales and insurance data; (2) Designing an application; (3) Making an application; and (4) Implementing the application of managing credit sales and insurance data at PT Pos Indonesia Cimahi Office. The project uses the case study method. The problems contained in the sales department of the Cimahi Post Office need to be studied further. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews with the sales department manager of the Cimahi Post Office as primary data. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained from the documentation of the situation in the field. The process of designing and creating applications uses PHP and XAMPP software and a database designed with MySQL on phpMyAdmin. The result of this project is web-based application data management, with test results that show no errors were found in the application and can be used as an alternative tool in managing credit sales and insurance data so that it is faster and easier to access. The information contained in this application is also easy to understand because it is displayed clearly and precisely.

Abstract

PT Pos Indonesia is one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), which serves in expedition services to send letters, money, or packages. Currently, PT Pos Indonesia already has a wide range of businesses, one of which is located in Cimahi or the Cimahi Post Office. In advancing its business, the Sales Section of the Cimahi Post Office cooperates with various companies and is responsible for managing credit sales activities and corporate partnerships. One activity is to record kredit sales and partner insurance data. However, in these activities, several obstacles were found, resulting in data reporting delays. Therefore, in this final project, a web-based Data Management Application was created, named SIBAPEN Pos Cimahi. SIBAPEN is a web-based data management application specifically for the Sales Section of the Cimahi Post Office to manage data on sales of credit and insurance sales for partners. The use of SIBAPEN can be a solution to overcome the obstacles experienced. The process of making this application begins with observing, designing, and making applications using a MySQL database and Sublime text software and testing with Alpha and Beta methods. The test results state that the application can work well, and no errors were found. While the feedback given by the Sales Manager as a form of assessment said, this application can be appropriately used and helps manage data in the Sales Department. Thus, the results of this final project can be used by the Sales Section of the Cimahi Post Office.
