Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis is one of the 10 most common causes of death and is the single most common cause of infection and causes illness every year in millions of people. The etiology of tuberculosis is the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium bovis. These germs have a size of 0.5-4 microns x 0.3-0.6 microns with thin rods, straight or slightly bent, granular or have no sheath, but have a thick outer layer consisting of lipoids (especially mycolic acid). Based on data from the Riset Kesehatan Dasar in 2018 conducted by the Kementerian Kesehatan RI, the prevalence rate of pulmonary TB by doctors in Indonesia in 2018 was the same as in 2013 which was 0.4%. Based on the OAT guidelines used in Indonesia, there are two OAT drug preparations, namely OAT-KDT or (FDC) and the Kombipak package. Comparison of the efficacy of this drug in curing pulmonary TB also varies. Objective: To determine the efficacy of KDT-OAT and removal preparations on the cure rate of pulmonary TB. Methods: This type of research is a retrospective cohort study, which is a time-period approach. This study was conducted in October-November 2020. Results: There was no significant difference in treatment outcomes in pulmonary TB patients who received OAT-KDT or OAT-release preparations.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a major public health problem because of its short-term and long-term complications. Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disease that involves pancreatic endocrine hormones, including insulin and glucagon. The main manifestations include disturbances of lipid, carbohydrate, and protein metabolism, which in turn stimulates hyperglycemia. This hyperglycemic condition will develop into diabetes mellitus with various forms of complications. Adherence is very important, especially in long-term treatment. In general, the level of compliance in each patient is described by the percentage of the number of drugs taken and the time of taking the drug within a certain period of time. This study aims to determine the relationship between controlled blood sugar in patients with diabetes mellitus with medication adherence at Balimbingan Hospital. The design of this study was cross sectional, with a quantitative approach with a sample of 56 patients. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire and data on visits to patients with diabetes mellitus at Balimbingan Hospital.

Abstract

The use of information and communication technology itself has grown rapidly throughout the world during the COVID-19 pandemic. Developed countries that have succeeded in reducing the number of COVID-19 cases have used various methods of using information and communication technology. Such as the use of tracking applications installed on cellular phones, payments using mobile payment applications, the installation of infrared heat detection cameras at the entrances of public places and crowds, even smart watches with applications that can collect data on heart rate, body temperature, and sleep patterns to detect signs of viral illness. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of the Online Self-Assessment Application (Aladin) in the licensing process for clinics and pharmacies at the Medan City Investment and One Stop Integrated Service Office in 2021.This research is a descriptive type with a quantitative approach. In this survey research, a questionnaire is used as a research instrument, in the form of a sheet containing several questions with a standard structure as a research instrument. Based on the results of research from several journals using TAM analysis, it was found that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness had a positive and significant effect on attitudes toward using and actual system use. Their research results show that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have a positive and significant effect on attitudes toward using and actual system use.

The data were analyzed using chi square test and linear regression with dummy variables to assess the effect of the dependent variable through independent variables. the results showed that there was a statistically significant dietary pattern of obesity 0.001 (p = 0.005) and the dietary B constant value of 26, 56, 2.21, which means that if a person with a diet is not good as a single risk factor then the body's BMI will increase by 2.21 kg / m2 from the base value of 26.56 kg / m2. And there is a statistically significant relationship between physical activity towards obesity 0.032 (p = 0.05) and B value from the constant physical activity is 26.56, -1.77 means if the respondent has a risk factor in the form of mild physical activity which is also a factor the respondent's single risk of eating will experience an increase in body BMI of 1.77 kg / m2 from the base value of 26.56 kg / m2. while other risk factors such as sleep duration (p = 0.220), snacks (p = 0.1552), socioeconomic status (p = 0.060), school role (p = 0.721), and gadged usage duration (p = 0.274) has a value of p> 0.05, which means that the risk factors did not provide a statistically significant influence on the increase in BMI in the respondents in this study.
