Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the Jakarta Islamic Index andthe Shariah World Indices within period of January 2009 to December 2017. This study is conducted using vector autoregressive (VAR) method and tawhidi string relationship (TSR) method. The key finding is the conventional Sharia Migration to Sharia in Indonesia through several channel and must be followed by developing the stock market platform as well as Screening on stock shares that follow the principles of sharia. This study found that Middle East investors reflected in the active GCC index in investing in the Indonesian capital market. Under such a phenomenon, the Capital Market Regulators in Indonesia, in this case OJK, must be active in enhancing the Indonesian market among the Gulf countries as well as the OIC (Organizing Islamic Countries). The managerial implications of this study encourage issuers belonging to the Islamic index to continue to improve healthier financial performance while making a breakthrough with the Islamic index in the world, especially the GCC countries.

Abstract

This research aims analyze the significance of the effect of profitability and leverage on firm value. This research methods uses descriptive and quantitative. Analysis of the data well-used data panel regression. The results found that profitability have a significant effect on firm value. While the leverage variabel shows a significant effect to firm value. This is related to firm values. Property and real estate company is expected to consistently ameliorate the performance in order to improve profitability and leverage on firm value. Higher profitability and leverage, the higher firm value.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic had an unexpected impact to the global economy, especially in the marketing sector. In the digital era that currently dominates with the help of devices or network technology devices, MSME operators adopt the use of marketing online as a solution for government regulation to minimize direct contact during pandemic. Unfortunately, not all MSMEs have taken advantage of digital tools business, especially in marketing. This study aims to determine the effect of digital marketing on the performance and sustainability of food MSMEs which are comprehensively reviewed. The population in this study were 100 Food MSMEs in DKI Jakarta Province with a maximum turnover of Rp. 10 billion and maximum assets of Rp. 5 billion. This study uses a quantitative method with a type of association study that aims to determine the effect or relationship between variables. By using Partial Least Square as a data processing and analysis technique. The research results show that online marketing contributes 40.3% to SMEs performance and 33.6% to MSMEs sustainability. It is recommended for MSMEs actors to maximize the use of digital marketing in any available platforms in order to increase their performance and maintain their sustainability.
