<![CDATA[Abstrak :Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengungkap pengaruh gender dan strategi pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas xi SMA Negeri 5 Kota Pontianak. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan desain faktorial 2 x 3. Dari hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh bahwa nilai sig untuk gender adalah sebesar 0,306 > 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh gender. Nilai sig untuk strategi pembelajaran adalah sebesar 0,986 > 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh strategi pembelajaran. Tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa laki-laki dengan perempuan yang mengikuti strategi pembelajaran.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak perbedaan rata-rata pemecahan masalah matematika yang dipengaruhi oleh gender. Abstract:The main pupose of this research is to know the influence of gender and learning strategy toward the matematic problem solving ability of the elevent grade students in SMA Negeri 5 Kota Pontianak. This research used the quantitative approach by using factorial 2 x 3 design. The research finding was obtained based on the matematic problem solving ability test. From the result of the problem solving ability test, it found that the gender sig score was 0,306 > 0,05, thus it concluded that there was no different on the student?s matematic problem solving ability average score which influenced by gender. The sig score for the learning strategy was 0,986 > 0,05, it can concluded that there was no different in the student?s matematic problem solving ability averagescore which was no different in the student?s average score between boys and girls on the problem solving ability. Based on the data analysis, it can concluded that there was no different on the matematic problem solving average scores which was influenuedbygender.
