Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of teacher readiness and student learning motivation on student learning outcomes in Social Studies Class VII Darma Pertiwi Junior High Scholl Bahbutong. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research with an associative approach to the research design using a survey design. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Darma Pertiwi Bahbutong Sidamanik totaling 82 students. The sample in this study were 82 students. The sampling technique used the total sample technique, namely the number of samples is equal to the total population. The data collection techniques used observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data in this study were analyzed by the normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that there was an effect of teacher readiness on social studies learning outcomes of students with tcount > ttable (2.233 > 1.990). Furthermore, there was an influence of student learning motivation on student social studies learning outcomes with tcount > ttable (2,609 > 1,990). and there was an influence between teacher readiness to teach and student learning motivation on student social studies learning outcomes with Fcount > Ftable (3,783 > 3,111).

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence discipline and learning motivation have on student learning outcomes in grade VIII at Darma Pertiwi Private Junior High School. This research is of Quantitative type. The sampling technique in this study is a purposive sample technique of 100 respondents. Collection techniques using Observation, Documentation, Questionnaires, Interviews. Instrument Test Using Classical Assumption Test and coefficient of determination test. Data from research and partial test data management (t-test) are known that tcount is obtained 3.863 > ttable 1.984 and significance 0.000 < 0.005 So it can be concluded that discipline has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in grade VIII at Darma Pertiwi Bahbutong Private Junior High School. From the partial test (t-test) it is known that a tcount of 2.960 > ttable 1.984 and a significance of 0.004 < 0.005 so that it can be concluded that according to learning motivation has a significant effect on learning outcomes in grade VIII at Darma Pertiwi Private Junior High School

Abstract

This study aims to look at differences in learning outcomes for class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Pematang Siantar using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Koopetarof learning model from the conventional learning model. From the test results it can be stated that the quality of the questions is good because the instrument is valid where the lowest validity is 0.36 (low validity) and the highest validity is 0.53 (sufficient validity), using the product moment formula. From the results of the study, it was found that the results of the normality test with the Liliefors test found that the data on the results of the two groups were normally distributed. From the results of the class homogeneous test, it has a homogeneous variance with 0.010 > 0.05 with a = 0.01 so that Ho is rejected. From the results of the analysis of the data obtained, it is known that (1) learning outcomes using cooperative learning type numbered heads together with X̅83.87, (2) learning outcomes with conventional learning with X̅75.03. Thus it can be concluded that (1) there are differences in student learning outcomes using cooperative learning type numbered heads together with conventional learning, (2) learning outcomes using cooperative learning type numbered heads together are better than learning outcomes using conventional learning. It can be seen from the results of the average test score of students with cooperative learning type numbered heads together is higher than the average test score of students with conventional learning.
