Abstract

Pencahayaan merupakan salah satu media bagi manusia untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan, disamping itu dapat pula membangkitkan keindahan di lingkungan dimana lampu tersebut berada. Sumber penerangan sebagai pencahayaan kini lebih banyak menggunakan komponen elektronika seperti Light Emited Diode (LED) karena hanya mengkonsumsi daya kecil namun menghasilkan pencahayaan yang besar. Kaji penggunaan led daya besar (HPL) dan led SMD sebagai sumber penerangan, solar cell mini 6 Volt 1 Watt sebagai alat untuk menghasilkan energi listrik yang nantinya di simpan pada baterai, sensor LDR sebagai pengendali lampu dan LM317 dijadikan buck konverter untuk menurunkan tegangan yang selanjutnya dipergunakan untuk men-charging baterai 18650. Penggunaan baterai sekunder Li-Ion nominal tegangan 3,7 Volt dan solar cell mini 6 Volt 1 Watt didapat arus charger rata-rata 48,59 mA.

Abstract

Masyarakat lebih sering menggunakan energi baru terbarukan menggunakan energi matahari untuk menghasilkan energy listrik. Secara umum di Indonesia saat ini harga per WP (Watt Peak) panel surya masih terbilang mahal berkisar Rp. 12000 – Rp 17000 per WP. Pemakaian panel surya sebagai sumber energy listrik memerluan perangkat pengatur proses charge dan discharge baterai. Penggunaan modul XL4015 berteknologi Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) untuk menjaga titik kerja proses charger menggunakan sel surya. Pada XL4015 menggunakan DC-DC Boost Converter sebagai pengatur tegangan keluarannya. Masukan diperoleh dari tegangan panel surya agar titik kerja tegangan keluaraan panel surya tetap pada titik MPP. Modul XL4015 dapat meregulasi tegangan yang dihasilkan sel surya menjadi 13,8 Volt dan arus charge rata rata 2,07 Ampere.

Abstract

Trainer modules based on industrial control operation processes will make it easy for students or learners to understand the concept of using industrial control in real applications. Especially for engineering fields such as electrical engineering, especially the field of industrial automation. To explore the abilities of students more deeply, a module in the research entitled "Scada-Based IoT Monitored Metal Sorting Project-Based Practicum Module" will be designed for a metal sorting process based on weight, whose weight is detected by an analog voltage output load cell sensor as a determinant of the position of placement in the sorting process. The direction of the sorting place is a pneumatic arm that will work according to the detected weight. There are 3 weight categories and 3 containers based on the 3 weight categories. All processes are monitored both from HMI and remotely from Android phones. The results of this study obtained a set of practicum modules that can work as designed and can be monitored by the sorting process through HMI, PC, and cellphone. Monitoring communication can use the access point network, wifi, or cellular telephone network, apart from the embedded HMI wifi network. For communication between PLC and HMI, it still uses Modbus RS-485 communication.

Abstract

The community service program is one of the knowledges implementation activities to be useful in the community. This program is also can be used as socializing the D-IV Study Program in Electronics System Engineering Technology (TRSE), Pontianak State Polytechnic to the students in high school. The location of activities was Islamic Boarding School of Hidayatul Muslimin 1 Islamic Boarding School, Kubu Raya Regency. This school including orphanage, Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Junior High School), and Ulya Equivalency Education (High School Level). This program was carried out using service learning method by providing practical technology implementation and brief training on the use of the technology provided. The activities include were build-up dan installations of Prayer Time Clocks (JWS) and water purification systems for wudhu at the Sulaiman Mosque (for female students). In addition to the installation, the school was also given socialization about the installation and use of JWS and the importance of clean water in student’s daily activities. The implementation of this activity, it is hoped that the TRSE Study Program of Pontianak State Polytechnic can be widely recognized and bring more benefits to the community.
