Abstract

One of existence determining factor of PBS palm oil is a harmonious relation with communities surroundings, thus the partnership between the palm oil plantation with the farmers surroundings is one of effort which has created the harmonization in palm oil plantation. The objective of the article is to express the sustainability of each pattern of palm oil PBS partnership, and this partnership form gives the sustainability advantages for the farmer and palm oil PBS in Central Kalimantan. The article used quantitative method through the survey approach, primary data and secondary data. The article result there are three main patterns of palm oil plantation partnership in Central Kalimantan, they are MSA, KKPA, and IGA. IGA has value as a form which has degree of continuing that higher than MSA and KKPA, thus make IGA can be the reference in frame of PBS palm oil partnership in Central Kalimantan with keeping the superiority and improving the weaknesses.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: It cannot be denied that the dependence of pregnant women on the knowledge, knowledge and experience of traditional birth attendant is still very high. Traditional birth attendants are considered as figures who have abilities related to local culture. On the other hand midwives are the most well-known health care workers to rural areas, have medical knowledge, knowledge and technology, on average young, but have not fully gained public trust.Subjects and Method: This was a qualitative study with case study approach. The study was conducted in North Klaten District, Klaten Regency, Central Java.Results: Traditional birth attendants were people who were trusted by the community to have knowledge and experience in the health of pregnancy. Partnership Guidelines for Midwives and traditional birth attendant issued by the Ministry of Health are divided into stages of pregnancy, and childbirth.Conclusion: The implementation of midwive and TBA partnership in accordance with govern­ment guidelines can begin with regional regulations that stipulate the implementation of the WB, followed by providing physiotherapy training to traditional birth attendants in postpartum maternal massage and baby massage, so that the competency of the traditional birth attendant is more targeted.Keywords: empowerment, midwives, traditional birth attendant, partnershipCorrespondence: Sri Panuntun. Abstract

Background: Maternal class, partnership with traditional birth attendant (TBA), and maternity waiting home are health community empowerment programs in North Klaten Subdistrict, Central Java, seem to be partial, even though they involve the same parties and the same goal to improve the health of pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to explore social capital role on pregnant woman health in Klaten, Central Java.Subjects and Method: This was a qualitative study with a case study design in North Klaten Sub-district, Klaten, Central Java. The data were collected by in-depth interview, observation, and document review.Results: This study shows that in order for a pregnancy health program to run effectively it requires the integration of information on the health of pregnant women and the development of pregnancy can reduce the risk of late three, namely late decision making, late bringing to health facilities, and late getting health services that can affect maternal mortality. As an effort to provide the best service to pregnant women in maternal class, partnership with TBA, and maternity waiting home programs requires a network of cooperation (interconnection) between all parties involved through social capital in accordance with the agreement supported by the village government. Conclusion: Maternal class, partnership with TBA, and maternity waiting home programs must run simultaneously to improve the health of pregnant women. social capital model is a model of collaboration between all parties involved in KBD, KIH and RTK through interconnection based on telephone and/or internet networks, so that information is exchanged about health conditions and the development of pregnancy.Keywords:  social capital, pregnant women, health, maternal classCorrespondence: Sri Panuntun.
