Abstract

AbstrakKurang kondusifnya proses pembelajaran membuat siswa kesulitan memahami materi sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar yang tidak maksimal, dan kurangnya nasionalisme pada siswa kelas IV SDN Tlogowungu 02 Pati. Perlunya model dan media pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut, solusinya adalah Discovery Learning berbantuan kartu kuartet. Sintakmatik Discovery Learning membuat siswa aktif menyelesaikan permasalahan pembelajaran dengan berbantuan kartu kuartet yang berisikan 34 set kartu tentang keberagaman Indonesia. Discovery Learning berbantuan kartu kuartet dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran, meningkatkan hasil belajar dan nasionalisme pada siswa kelas IV. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan siklus berulang, setiap siklus memuat empat kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Tlogowungu 02 yang berjumlah 11 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi alat tes, observasi, jurnal, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dengan Discovery Learning berbantuan kartu kuartet efektif dengan ditandai adanya perbaikan proses pembelajaran yang semakin kondusif, nasionalisme mengalami peningkatan dari 36% pada prasiklus, meningkat menjadi 73% pada siklus I, dan mencapai hasil maksimal 100% pada siklus II. Hasil belajar PPKnmengalami peningkatan pada siklus I dari 37% pada prasiklusmenjadi 73%, dan mencapai 91% pada siklus II.Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, kartu kuartet, hasil belajar, dan nasionalisme AbstractLess conducive to the learning process makes it difficult for students to understand the material so that it has an impact on learning outcomes that are not optimal, and the lack of nationalism in class IV SDN Tlogowungu 02 Pati. The need for appropriate learning models and media to overcome these difficulties, the solution is Discovery Learning assisted by quartet cards. Discovery Learning syntagmatic makes students actively solve learning problems assisted by quartet cards containing 34 sets of cards about Indonesia's diversity. Discovery Learning assisted by quartet cards can improve the learning process, improve learning outcomes and nationalism in fourth grade students. The research was carried out using a classroom action research design with repetitive cycles, each cycle containing four activities, namely planning, action, implementation, and reflection. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SDN Tlogowungu 02, totaling 11 students. The instruments used include tests, observations, journals, interviews, and documentation. Research with Discovery Learning is assisted by effective quartet cards with a marked improvement in the increasingly conducive learning process, nationalism has increased from 36% in pre-cycle, increased to 73% in the first cycle, and reached a maximum of 100% in cycle II. PPK learning outcomes have increased in the first cycle from 37% in pre-cycle to 73%, and reached 91% in cycle II.Keywords: Discovery Learning, quartet cards, learning outcomes, and nationalism

Abstract

Learning science is essentially in terms of products, processes and attitudes interms of development. All three of these dimensions are interrelated. Mastery learningstudents of class V SDN Tlogowungu 02 for science subjects are still low proven tostudents who are able to master new material 3 of the overall 13 students. The highestvalue of 80, 30 and the lowest average value of students only reach a value of 60. Theattitude of tolerance of students is still low, the students who have very tolerant attitudestolerant and only 3 students or 23%. Being one interesting thing when learning scienceis presented with a model of learning Group Investigation (GI) aided instructionalmaterials comics that are favored students and charged character, that foster tolerance,unlock the value dimension IPA and the character values that ultimately creates afeeling of mutual concern in the hearts of students towards learning science. This studyuses classroom action research design (Classroom-based Action Research),implemented in the form of a repeating cycle in which there are four main phases ofactivity, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Stages of action researchwas conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class V SDN Tlogowungu 02, District Tlogowungu, Pati regency in the academic year 2015/2016 as many as 13 students consisting of 8 boys and 5 students perempuan.Pada this study, data werecollected through tests, observations, documentation, and using descriptive analysis.The results showed an increase in the first cycle of students learning completenessreached 62% and increased tolerance to 69% .In the second cycle is really the maximumincrease in tolerance and student learning outcomes. Mastery learning materials simpleplane experienced by students has reached 92%, as well as the students' tolerance hasreached 92%, so the researchers decided not to continue the research in the next cyclebecause it has reached an indicator of performance. Learning Model GroupInvestigation (GI) aided charged comic characters proven to increase tolerance andlearning outcomes of students, especially students of class V SDN Tlogowungu 02.Keywords: Learning Model Group Investigation (GI), Comics, Itself Learning science,Character Education, and Learning Outcomes.
