Abstract

The problem of teacher performance is an important problem that must be addressed immediately. Factors The main cause in terms of lack of job satisfaction and commitment. This study aims to prove that job satisfaction and commitment have an effect either partially or simultaneously on performance. And to prove which of the job satisfaction and commitment have a dominant effect on the performance of teachers in SMA PGRI 1 Lumajang, East Java, Indonesia. This research uses multiple linear regression method and then the data results are processed with the help of the SPSS program and hypothesis testing. The results showed that job satisfaction and commitment to performance. The higher the job satisfaction, the higher the performance. Likewise with commitment, the higher the commitment to work, the higher the performance. The uniqueness of this research is the main supporting factor in improving performance, namely job satisfaction. In improving teacher performance, what must be considered is the teacher's job satisfaction factor.

Abstract

This study was made with the aim of analyzing Human Resource Development in Increasing Sales Turnover of Synthetic Rattan Products by Dfanda Synthetic Rattan. The research method used is descriptive analysis using a qualitative research approach. The data collection technique carried out by the researcher was to conduct interviews and direct observations to the business owner. In addition, there are additional supporting data from reading books and other sources related to the research title. The analyzed using SWOT analysis to find out what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of human resource development carried out by the company. The results of human resource development research to increase employee productivity Dfanda Rattan synthetic is the business partner model strategy because this strategy has several advantages, namely the existence of several strengths within the company that can be used to take advantage of several opportunities and face several threats to the company as shown by the Cartesian diagram that the company is in quadrant I, namely aggressive with the implementation of the Growth Oriented Strategy which is a very profitable situation for the company. The company has the power so that it can take advantage of the opportunities that exist.

Abstract

This study aims to determine conceptually-theoretically the soft skills and performance of individuals who pursue certain professions, especially journalists who work in Disaster-Prone Areas. The method used in this study is the library research method, or it can also be called the literature review method, which is a type of study conducted by examining relevant related literature. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that soft skills are relatively closely related to performance even in situations and conditions that are not normal. An objective news presentation certainly requires special skills or abilities for journalists. Then there are some basic skills or abilities that journalists need to have. Some of these abilities that journalists need to have, namely writing properly and correctly, establishing communication with sources and skills in using information technology tools. It is not enough for journalists with assignment locations in Disaster Prone Areas to have basic skills. Need additional soft skills according to the situation and conditions. There is a fundamental difference between the duties of journalists in normal situations and conditions with disasters. Both in terms of sources and the accuracy of the information and news presented.

Abstract

This study aims to find out conceptually-theoretically disaster education and training based on local wisdom can strengthen the character of disaster preparedness. The method used in this study is the library research method, or it can also be called the literature review method, which is a type of study conducted by reviewing relevant relevant literatures. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of disaster education and training based on local wisdom can improve the character of student preparedness. So that the stronger the character of student preparedness can reduce the risk in the event of a disaster. One of the reasons for the high number of casualties and property losses due to disasters is the lack of preparedness for a disaster. The character of disaster preparedness is certainly not formed instantly, but goes through a long process. Disaster education and training based on local wisdom is the right step in strengthening the character of disaster preparedness in students. Disaster education is very important to be held starting from basic education to higher education.
