Abstract

Angka kecelakaan lalu lintas pada pengemudi sepeda motor semakin meningkat di Indonesia. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah human error. Perilaku aggressive drivingdisinyalir membFebriantoan kontribusi utama pada peningkatan angka kecelakaan tersebut. Dengan pengendalian diri yang baik, perilaku aggressive driving bisa dikurangi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kontrol diri terhadap perilaku aggressive driving pada anggota Club sepeda motor Honda CB150R di Kabupaten Karawang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif asosiatif dengan populasi sebanyak 135 orang dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling. Instrument dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala kontrol diri dan skala perilaku aggressive driving. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kontrol diri berpengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku aggressive driving, dengan nilai r = -0,179 dan p = 0,00 p < 0,01. Artinya, semakin tinggi kontrol diri maka akan semakin rendah perilaku aggressive driving, begitu pula sebaliknya. Pengaruh efektif control diri terhadap perilaku aggressive driving sebesar 17,9% yang artinya masih ada 82,1% perilaku aggressive drivingdipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. The number of traffic accidents on motorcyclists increased in Indonesia. One possible caused was human error. Aggressive driving behavior was allegedly contributed to the increase in the number of these accidents. With good self-control, aggressive driving behavior can reduce. This study aimed to examine the relationship between selfcontrol toward aggressive driving behavior on the honda CB150R motorcycle Club in Karawang regency. The research design was associative quantitative with a population of 135 people. The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling. The instrument in this study used a self-control scale and an aggressive driving scale. The results of this study indicated that the self-control harms aggressive driving behavior, with r = -0.537 and p = 0.00; p < 0.01. That was, the higher the self-control, the lower of aggressive driving behavior, vice versa. The effect of self-control on aggressive driving behavior is 17.9%, which means that 82.1% of aggressive driving behavior influence by other variables
