Abstract

A construction project that can be completed properly is the result of a combination and interaction of various related activities, elements and processes, both planned and unplanned and in a changing environment, several factors are more dominant in influencing project success. to help allocate available resources. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors for the success of a construction project and the extent of the influence of these factors on the success of the project, especially the implementation of construction in the district of West Lombok and the city of Mataram. The ultimate goal of this research is to provide tools for parties involved in the implementation of construction, to predict project success and provide useful information in allocating resources to produce satisfactory results. This research consists of two stages, namely the pilot study and the second stage of research. In the pilot study in the form of a questionnaire containing questions referring to Chan's research (1998), it has succeeded in obtaining data from 60 respondents from business practitioners in the construction service sector in the district of West Lombok. Mataram city. The second phase of the questionnaire obtained data for 52 respondents consisting of project owners, professional practitioners, both consultants and contractors. The mean value of the tap factors from a total of 44 variables resulted in the 15 factors with the highest ranking. The fifteen factors were analyzed by step wise multiple regression to determine the extent of the influence of each factor on the project's success criteria. The six most dominant factors influencing project success are the project owner's emphasis on time, quality and cost of supervision, involvement with the implementation team from the start, health & safety programs supported by the parent company, and relationships with fellow business associates. The results of the study prove that the project design factors that are adequate enough to be carried out at the construction implementation stage are the factors that most influence the project's success, followed by supervision at the construction implementation stage running well, the project team's technical ability, communication between the parties involved in the implementation. construction, and regular coordination.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Landslide Disaster Management Strategy Landslides along the Pusuk forest tourism route, Pemenang District, West Lombok Regency, are very important to reduce the risks and impacts caused. This area, which consists of hills and steep slopes, is very prone to landslides, especially when rainfall is high. From the results of research on the causal factors, in the landslide disaster management strategy at the research location, where data was obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests using SPSS Software, researchers can conclude the following: The factors causing landslides vary, but in this study, several main factors have been identified. soil type 90.67%, High rainfall 89.33%, additional load on slopes 88.67%, inappropriate land use 88.00%, and vibrations due to earthquakes are the main factors that increase the risk of landslides 87.33%. For disaster risk management strategies, the proposed steps include increasing community understanding through counseling on landslides, strengthening slope infrastructure with terracing, installing retaining walls, and improving drainage systems to prevent erosion. Proper land use planning must also be implemented to reduce pressure on vulnerable slopes. In addition, cooperation is needed between the government, community, and private sector to ensure that the management strategy program runs effectively and sustainably. With this approach, it is hoped that the risk of landslides along the Pusuk tourist route can be minimized.

Abstract

Aikdewa Bathing Pool, located in Pringgasela Village, has great potential to become an attractive tourist destination in East Lombok. One of the much-needed facilities is clean and comfortable toilets and changing rooms. The condition of the toilets and changing rooms at Aikdewa Bathing Pool is very concerning. The existing facilities are only made of spandex and are not well maintained. Seeing the condition of Aikdewa bathing pool which is increasingly in demand by visitors, the author together with VLOK Foundation Holland took the initiative to improve the quality of facilities at the place. The steps carried out for the toilet and changing room facilities development program are divided into 3 stages, namely: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the post-development stage. The toilet and changing room facilities construction program at Aikdewa Bathing Pool has successfully built 2 toilet units and 1 changing room unit. The construction time is 1 month. The construction program of toilet and changing room facilities at Aikdewa Bathing Pool has successfully achieved the set targets.Aikdewa Bathing Pool, located in Pringgasela Village, has great potential to become an attractive tourist destination in East Lombok. Abstract

Building infrastructure plays an important role in the progress of a nation. However, failures in planning, design, construction, and maintenance can hinder development goals. The risk of failure of a construction project can come from technical aspects, human error, and natural factors. Indonesia, especially Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara, faces challenges in infrastructure sustainability, especially after being designated as a National Tourism destination through Presidential Decree No. 84/2021. Despite the increase in infrastructure development, many cases of construction failures still occur. This research aims to develop a digital transformation-based intelligent Android application that can detect and mitigate the risk of project failure. The study used a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods, with the Likert scale for risk measurement. The first stage involved 22 respondents from several cases of project failure, resulting in 19 variables that caused failure. The second stage involved 88 respondents to test the validity and reliability of these variables, as well as analyze the level of risk using the Severity Index and Probability and Impact Matrix. The results of the study identified 19 risk factors, with 4 variables related to building failure and 15 variables related to construction failure implementation. Risk is classified into high, medium, and low categories, where 3 variables have high risk, 14 medium risk variables, and 2 low risk variables. This research also formulates risk management strategies, including steps to reduce and anticipate risks. In addition, the research resulted in the application of Risk Check Level, which aids in the detection, analysis.
