Abstract

Self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a fresh concrete that is able to flow and fill up the formwork by itself without the need of a vibrator to compact it. One of the reasons that causes the damage of a building structure during an earthquake is the heavy weight of its structural members which are from the high density of the material used such concrete material. Lightweight aggregate is one of the solutions to reduce the weight of the structure. Therefore, the SCC using the artificial lightweight aggregate (ALWA) is one of the solutions to reduce the self-weight (dead load) of a structure. This research was conducted to investigate the impact of the use of ALWA in conventional concrete and SCC in terms of its compressive strength and modulus of elasticity. To study the impact of the use of ALWA in SCC, several variation of percentage of ALWA as a substitution to the natural coarse aggregate was examined. The proportions of ALWA as a replacement to the coarse aggregate were 0%, 15%, 50%, and 100%. The test specimens were the cylindrical concrete of 200 mm in height and 100 mm in diameter for both compressive strength and modulus of elasticity tests. The results of the compressive strength test indicated that the higher the percentage of ALWA used in SCC, the lower the compressive strength of the concrete. The addition of ALWA as a substitution to the natural coarse aggregate to conventional concrete and SCC was found optimum at 15% replacement with the compressive strength of conventional concrete and SCC of 21.13 and 28.33 MPa, respectively. Whereas, the modulus of elasticity of the conventional concrete and SCC were found to be 20,843.99 and 23,717.77 MPa, respectively.

Abstract

Earthquake damage to buildings is directly proportionate to the weight of the structure. Selfcompacting concrete is a type of concrete that can consolidate without the use of vibrator. To minimize damage structures caused by earthquakes, infrastructure development needs lighter materials and superior workmanship. Lightweight aggregate can reduce weight of the structure, SCC with ALWA is a solution to reduce dead load of the structure with ease of execution. The purpose of this study is to see how much the split tensile strength influences the composition of ALWA as coarse aggregate substitute in Normal Concrete and SCC. The proportions of ALWA that substituted into concrete were 0%, 15%, 50% and 100%. There are 24 cylindrical specimens, each measuring 100 mm in diameter and 200 mm in height. The analysis was carried out using ASTM C 496/C 496M. The results of split tensile strength show that the higher variation in the composition of ALWA, the lower split tensile strength produced. The addition of ALWA as a substitute for coarse aggregate in a mixture of normal and SCC concrete was most effective at 15% ALWA with a split tensile strength of normal concrete 2.23 MPa and SCC 2.32 MPa.

Abstract

Berat bangunan mempengaruhi tingkat kerusakan yang akan terjadi, semakin berat suatubangunan maka kerusakan yang akan terjadi juga semakin besar, sebaliknya jika semakin ringansuatu bangunan maka kerusakan yang akan terjadi juga semakin kecil. Salah satu cara untukmengurangi berat sendiri bangunan yaitu dengan cara mengurangi beban mati. Beban matistruktural yang lebih kecil ini juga dapat memberikan keuntungan dalam pengurangan ukuranpondasi yang diperlukan. Untuk mengurangi beban mati dapat dilakukan dengan cara menggunakanbeton ringan. Jumlah penggunaan beton ringan yang banyak dalam konstruksi mengakibatkanpeningkatan kebutuhan material beton ringan. Alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasimasalah tersebut yaitu dengan memanfaatkan batu apung sebagai pengganti agregat kasarnya.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kuat tekan pada betonringan yang menggunakan agregat kasar batu apung dengan variasi lama waktu perendaman. Hasildari penelitian ini kuat tekan terbesar diperoleh pada waktu perendaman 56 hari yaitu sebesar15.192 MPa. Semakin lama waktu perendaman, maka semakin besar kuat tekan yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Pengembangan sumber daya dan potensi pariwisata daerah dapat memberikan sumbangan bagi pembangunan ekonomi. Pemerintah Daerah Lombok Barat berupaya mendorong tumbuhnya desa-desa wisata berbasis potensi lokal untuk menciptakan destinasi-destinasi wisata baru, salah satunya yaitu Desa Mekar Sari, Kecamatan Narmada, Lombok Barat. Untuk mengoptimalkan jumlah wisatawan yang mengunjungi Desa Mekar Sari maka pengembangan dan pengelolaannya akan didorong menjadi Desa Wisata berbasis Agrowisata. Kegiatan yang dilakukan berupa membuat spot foto di lokasi wisata yang menjadi daya tarik bagi pengunjung dan melakukan promosi serta sosialisasi objek wisata Mekar Sari kepada masyarakat menggunakan media sosial berupa Facebook, Youtube dan Instagram. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan lancar dan baik, masyarakat merasakan manfaat yang didapatkan, pembuatan spot foto memperindah tempat wisata yang ada sehingga menarik minat pengunjung untuk datang ke Desa Mekar Sari.

Abstract

Lantan Village Area, North Baukliang District, Central Lombok Regency has very potential for rural tourism to be developed. The village has interesting natural characteristics and unique social and cultural life. This potential must be encouraged and developed following the socio-cultural characteristics of the community. One of the problems that exist in the Lantan Village Tourism area, North Batukliang District, Central Lombok Region is the lack of marketing of SME products and tourist sites, even though SME products and tourist areas are good. Because it is considered less than optimal, the use of technology can facilitate the dissemination of information on SME products and tourist areas. For example, the use of travel guide apps that provide historical information, local stories, and activity recommendations can provide an in-depth interaction between tourists and local culture. The purpose of this socialization is; 1) Increase marketing of SME products and tourist sites based on social media and websites to be more widely known; 2) Encourage and motivate the community to be enthusiastic in learning and always maintain the preservation of tourism in Lantan Village. The results of this community service were followed by very high community enthusiasm. In addition, the community also gains knowledge related to technology which can be an effective means of spurring tourism progress through online promotion, as well as the use of the internet which is an inseparable component of technology.

Abstract

One of the problems that exist in the Lantan Village Tourism area, North Batukliang District, Central Lombok Region, specifically in the Sumberan Camping Ground tourist area, is the lack of awareness of the potential around them which they might be able to use as additional resources to be useful for developing tourism in their area. One of the programs implemented in the Sumberan Camping Ground Area is repairing the gate at the Sumberan Camping Ground, repairing the ITC sign, installing paranet around the pool at the Sumberan Camping Ground, making signs that must be adhered to, and installing lighting in the Sumberan Camping Ground area. The objectives of this work program are: 1) To create comfort for visitors who come to the Sumberan Camping Ground; 2) To create quality, characterful, creative, and innovative Human Resources; 3) To encourage and motivate children or youth to be enthusiastic about learning and always maintain the sustainability of tourism in Lantan Village. The result of this work program is that the community is enthusiastic about participating in these activities. Apart from that, this work program also aims to preserve tourism in Lantan Village, specifically at the Sumberan Camping Ground.

Abstract

Aikdewa Bathing Pool, located in Pringgasela Village, has great potential to become an attractive tourist destination in East Lombok. One of the much-needed facilities is clean and comfortable toilets and changing rooms. The condition of the toilets and changing rooms at Aikdewa Bathing Pool is very concerning. The existing facilities are only made of spandex and are not well maintained. Seeing the condition of Aikdewa bathing pool which is increasingly in demand by visitors, the author together with VLOK Foundation Holland took the initiative to improve the quality of facilities at the place. The steps carried out for the toilet and changing room facilities development program are divided into 3 stages, namely: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the post-development stage. The toilet and changing room facilities construction program at Aikdewa Bathing Pool has successfully built 2 toilet units and 1 changing room unit. The construction time is 1 month. Abstract

Lombok Island is an archipelago that has a source Natural resources such as sand and gravel are abundant. This material is one of the components of concrete. Concrete is a frequently used material in Indonesia. Compressive strength testing of concrete typically requires a large number of samples and a considerable amount of time. To expedite and simplify this process, researchers employ computer-based intelligence techniques, namely the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) method. This research involved a series of laboratory tests for normal concrete's compressive strength. The obtained data was then processed using MATLAB with the ANN modeling method for training. The research results indicated a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 0.02% during the training process and 1.54% during testing. This demonstrates that the developed ANN modeling exhibits a high level of accuracy with low error. Therefore, the empirical formula obtained can be used for predicting the compressive strength of normal concrete with a good degree of precision.

Abstract

Concrete with lightweight aggregates is a type of concrete that is widely used in earthquake-prone areas. One of the building blocks for lightweight concrete utilizing waste is Styrofoam. Styrofoam in lightweight concrete began to be widely used in structural buildings. Self-compacting concrete is a type of concrete that can flow by itself without experiencing segregation. Light aggregate concrete is applied to self-compacting concrete in order to get benefits from an economic and construction time perspective, thereby saving costs and processing time. This study aimed to determine the ductility level of concrete seen from the magnitude of the stress and strain values at each ALWA content as a substitute for gravel in regular and self-compacting concrete. The loading of a concrete cylinder affects the relationship between stress and strain. Variations in the composition of ALWA substituted in concrete, from 0%, 15%, 50%, to 100%. The test was carried out as compressive strength with a cylindrical specimen with a height dimension of 200 mm and a diameter of 100 mm. The results of the test show that the strain values of 0.5f'c at SCC0, SCC15, SCC50, and SCC100 are 0.00140, 0.00140, 0.00146, 0.00151, the higher the ALWA substituted in the SCC mixture, the greater the strain value. In addition, the higher the amount of substituted ALWA in the SCC mixture, the lower the level of workability. This study shows that lightweight aggregate with Styrofoam can make concrete more ductile.ABSTRAKBeton dengan agregat ringan merupakan salah satu jenis beton yang banyak digunakan pada daerah rawan gempa. Bahan penyusun beton ringan dengan memanfaatkan limbah salah satunya berbahan Styrofoam. Penggunaan styrofoam pada beton ringan mulai banyak digunakan pada bangunan yang bersifat struktur. Beton memadat sendiri adalah jenis beton yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mengalir dengan sendirinya tanpa mengalami segregasi. Beton beragregat ringan diaplikasikan pada beton memadat sendiri agar mendapatkan manfaat dari segi ekonomi dan waktu pelaksanaan konstruksi, sehingga lebih menghemat biaya dan waktu pengerjaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat daktilitas beton dilihat dari besarnya nilai tegangan dan regangan pada setiap kadar ALWA sebagai pengganti kerikil pada beton normal dan beton memadat sendiri. Pembebanan suatu silinder beton mempengaruhi hubungan antara tegangan dan regangan. Variasi komposisi ALWA yang disubstitusi pada beton yaitu dari 0%, 15%, 50% sampai 100%. Pengujian yang dilakukan berupa kuat tekan dengan benda uji berbentuk silinder dimensi tinggi 200 mm dan diameter 100 mm. Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan nilai regangan 0.5f’c pada SCC0, SCC15, SCC50, SCC100 nilainya yaitu 0.00140, 0.00140, 0.00146, 0.00151, semakin tinggi ALWA yang disubstitusi dalam campuran SCC maka semakin besar nilai regangannya. Selain itu, semakin tinggi jumlah ALWA yang disubstitusi dalam campuran SCC maka semakin rendah tingkat workability. Penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan agregat ringan dengan styrofoam dapat menjadikan beton lebih daktail daripada sebelumnya.

Abstract

SCC (Self Compacting Concrete) adalah inovasi pada beton yang memiliki kemampuan mangalir dengan sendirinya memenuhi bekisting dengan bantuan bahan aditif.  Kemampuan mengalir sendiri tersebut diakibatkan oleh flowability yang tinggi pada beton segar. Adapun pengujian yang diterapkan adalah spread test yang berfungsi unutk melihat daya sebar beton secara mandiri, sesuai dengan sifat flowability yang dimiliki. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan studi untuk memeriksa keseragaman kekuatan beton SCC. Adapun sampel yang digunakan adalah silinder beton dengan diameter 15 cm dan tinggi 30 cm. bahan aditif yang digunakan pada beton SCC adalah superplasticizer SIKA Viscocrete 3115n. Selanjutnya, pengujian keseragaman beton dilakukan dengan pengujian non-destructive test yaitu hammer test. Hammer test diaplikasikan pada permukaan tepi atas dan bawah beton silinder. Dari pengujian dengan hammer test didapatkan nilai pantul permukaan bawah dengan rerata nilai 27 dan nilai pantul permukaan atas dengan rerata nilai 31. Pada beton SCC, nilai pantul bagian atas lebih rendah dibandingkan bagian bawah. Hal ini dikarenakan karakteristik beton SCC yang dapat memadat sendiri. Pada proses pemadatan, bagian bawah beton SCC memadat dengan baik sedangkan bagian atas masih ada tersisa rongga udara yang diisi oleh sisa pemadatan bagian bawah dan kadar lumpur yang ikut naik mengakibatkan kekerasan permukaan bagian atas berbeda dengan bawah.
