Abstract

This research was designed to know the implementation of student code of conduct in the Economics learning process. The subjects of this research were the Economics subject teachers, and the object was the implementation of student code of conduct in the Economics learning process at Social Science Department of Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.  The informants of this research were two Economic teachers.  The techniques of collecting the data were direct observation, interview notes and recording the respondent answer and documentation.  The technique of analyzing the data was descriptive qualitative. Based on the data presentation and analysis, it could be concluded that the role of teachers in the implementation of student code of conduct in the Economics learning process at Social Science Department of Senior High School was  in the percentage of 73,43% in the range of 61%-80% and included in good category

Abstract

The objective of the research was to know the impact of teaching ability of economic teachers that were certified upon the student’s achievement in economic subject. The type of this research was quantitative method. The population and sample of the research were all economics students with total of forty-four students. The data of teaching ability was collected by questionnaires and student’s achievement were taken from documentation of economic scores from economic teachers.Then, the data was analyzed with serial correlation. Based on the result of data analysis, it could be concluded that there was a positive relationship of teaching ability of economics teachers that werecertified with students’ achievement in economic subject with very low relationship.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of co-workers social support to the condition of school counselor burnout. This study uses a descriptive correlational quantitative method. The study population was a high school counselor SMAN in Pekanbaru . The sample amounted to 52 people who were determined by the Sampling total sampling technique. The instrument used was co-workers social support questionnaire and burnout with a Likert scale model . Instrument reliability test results co-worker social support 0.959 and burnout conditions of 0.976. The research data were analyzed using simple regression. The research findings show that there is a contribution of co-workers social support to the conditions of school counselor burnout by 37.4%. The implications of the results of the study can be used as an effort to improve the quality of guidance and counseling services, especially in increasing social support for work towards the conditions of school counselor burnout.
