Abstract

Abstract Office layout is a condition where the employees used it in an organization, if the layout is arranged well, it will influence their performance at the school.  This research is to know the influence of office layout toward employee performance and to see factors influencing both variables.  It was a quantitative research using simple linear regression technique to study about office layout (X) and employee performance (Y) at Pharmacy Vocational High School of Ikasari Pekanbaru.  This research aimed at knowing whether there was a significant influence of office layout toward employee performance at Pharmacy Vocational High School of Ikasari Pekanbaru.  The subjects of this research were 31 employees using total sampling and the data analysis was helped with SPSS 20.00.  The research findings showed that (1) employee performance level score was 84.87% and it was on very good category, (2) office layout score was 84.96% and it was on very good category, (3) there was a significant influence of office layout toward employee performance at Pharmacy Vocational High School of Ikasari Pekanbaru with 5% significant level 0.550 (0.826>0.3550).  The calculation result of determination coefficient (R Square) was 0.672.  It showed that the influence of office layout toward employee performance was 67.2%, and the rest 32.8% (100%-67.2%) was influenced by other variables that were not mentioned in this research.  The school was expected to upgrade the office layout in order that employee performance could be better.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menggambarkan pemahaman remaja di Desa Kualu Nenas Kampar riau tentang 1) seks bebas 2) pernikahan dini. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah desain eksperimen kuasi Intak Group Comparison menggunakan konseling pranikah, data pre-test post-test diperoleh menggunakan skala liket dan diolah menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Hasil dari penelitian antara lain: 1) pemahaman remaja di Desa Kualu Nenas Kampar Riau tentang seks bebas meningkat, baik untuk kelompok eksperimen maupun kelompok control; 2) pemahaman remaja Kampar Riau tentang pernikahan dini tidak meningkat pada kelompok eksperimen dan meningkat untuk kelompok control; 3) remaja di desa Kualu Nenas telah melakukan aktivitas seksual dengan alasan mengikuti trend dan dorongan seks internal mereka; dan 4) remaja tidak memiliki tempat untuk berkata jujur tentang hasrat seksual yang mereka miliki. Orangtua sebagai lingkugan terdekat harus memberi perhatian khusus dan menjadi tempat bagi mereka untuk mengklarifikasi nilai-nilai seksual, aturan, norma tentang seks bebas dan pernikahan dini, serta memberikan pengaruh positif melalui perilaku nyata yang mendukung kesehatan mental remaja. Melalui pemahaman yang baik tentang seks bebas dan pernikahan dini diharapkan mampu menyelamatkan remaja dari perilaku menyimpang.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of co-workers social support to the condition of school counselor burnout. This study uses a descriptive correlational quantitative method. The study population was a high school counselor SMAN in Pekanbaru . The sample amounted to 52 people who were determined by the Sampling total sampling technique. The instrument used was co-workers social support questionnaire and burnout with a Likert scale model . Instrument reliability test results co-worker social support 0.959 and burnout conditions of 0.976. The research data were analyzed using simple regression. The research findings show that there is a contribution of co-workers social support to the conditions of school counselor burnout by 37.4%. The implications of the results of the study can be used as an effort to improve the quality of guidance and counseling services, especially in increasing social support for work towards the conditions of school counselor burnout.
