Abstract

Abstrak:  Pendidikan kesetaraan merupakan salah satu program pendidikan luar sekolah yang dilaksanakan oleh PKBM. Dalam pembelajaran kesetaraan perlu adanya pendekatan yang sesuai. Pendekatan yang sesuai dalam program kesetaraan adalah pendekatan andragogi. Pendekatan andragogi merupakan pendekatan yang menggunakan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran orang dewasa. Prinsip-prinsip tersebut digunakan karena mayoritas peserta didik merupakan orang dewasa yang memiliki cara belajar berbeda sehingga perlu diterapkan pendekatan andragogi agar peserta didik dapat termotivasi dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bagaimana penerapan pendekatan dan masalah andragogi di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Cahaya Binjai. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil, penerapan pendekatan dan masalah andragogi dalam pembelajaran di PKBM Cahaya Binjai meliputi dalam proses pembelajaran pendidik menciptakan suasana yang kondusif dan efisien untuk belajar, melaksanakan kegiatan belajar dengan berbagai metode, teknik dan sarana belajar yang tepat, dan tutor tidak menggurui. Dan masalah belajar orang dewasa meliputi ketidakefektifan kegiatan pembelajaran, berkurangnya motivasi belajar orang dewasa, kurangnya pemahaman orang dewasa dalam memahami pembelajaran, dan ketidakterbukaan warga belajar akan pengalamannya, dari implikasi kegiatan ditemukanlah permasalahan yang muncul dalam proses pembelajaran di PKBM Cahaya Binjai yang meliputi ketidakefektifan kegiatan pembelajaran, berkurangnya motivasi belajar orang dewasa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran, berkurangnya kesiapan orang dewasa untuk belajar, kurangnya pemahaman orang dewasa dalam memahami pembelajaran, tertutupnya orang dewasa untuk membagikan ilmunya serta pengalamannya, serta terdapatnya beberapa tutor yang memberi kesan menggurui, sekaligus memerintah.Analysis of the Application of Andragogy Approaches and Problems at PKBM Cahaya BinjaiAbstract: Equality education is one of the out-of-school education programs implemented by PKBM.  In equality learning, it is necessary to have an appropriate approach.  The appropriate approach in the equality program is the andragogy approach.  Andragogy approach is an approach that uses the principles of adult learning.  These principles are used because the majority of students are adults who have different ways of learning so it is necessary to apply an andragogy approach so that students can be motivated in learning.  This study aims to find out how to apply andragogy approaches and problems at the Cahaya Binjai Community Learning Center (PKBM).  By using a qualitative approach, descriptive methods and data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and literature studies.  Based on the results, the application of the andragogy approach and problems in learning at PKBM Cahaya Binjai includes in the learning process educators create a conducive and efficient atmosphere for learning, carry out learning activities with various methods, techniques and appropriate learning facilities, and tutors are not patronizing. And adult learning problems include the ineffectiveness of learning activities, reduced adult learning motivation, lack of understanding of adults in understanding learning, and the openness of learning citizens to their experiences.  learning, reduced motivation to learn by adults in participating in learning activities, reduced readiness of adults to learn, lack of understanding of adults in understanding learning, adults are closed to share their knowledge and experiences, and the presence of several tutors who give the impression of being patronizing, as well as commanding.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang optimalisasi peranan lembaga kursus dan pelatihan dalam membantu perekonomian kaum wanita melalui program pelatihan menjahit. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif di mana subjek dalam penelitian Ibu Dewi, pendiri LKP Modist Bunturaja. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program pelatihan keterampilan menjahit di LKP Modist Bunturaja dapat memberikan solusi bagi masyarakat, khususnya kaum perempuan yang berpendidikan rendah dan tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan menjahit dapat memberi peluang untuk membuka usaha mandiri. Keterampilan menjahit yang diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan keterampilan dan menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan pada gilirannya akan membantu pemerintah dalam mengembangkan sektor industri kecil dan mengurangi angka pengangguran. Optimizing the Role of LKP in Helping the Women's Economy through Sewing Training ProgramsAbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the optimization of the role of training and course institutions in helping women's economy through sewing training programs.  This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method where the subject in the research is Ibu Dewi, the founder of LKP Modist Bunturaja.  The results of this study indicate that the sewing skills training program at LKP Modist Bunturaja can provide solutions for the community, especially women who have low education and do not have the knowledge and skills of sewing can provide opportunities to open independent businesses.  Sewing skills are expected to provide knowledge of skills and create quality human resources and in turn will assist the government in developing the small industrial sector and reducing unemployment.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the role of farmer groups in increasing the income of the people of Jumateguh Village, Banturaja District. The qualitative approach using descriptive methods and data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results shows there are three roles of farmer groups in the Jumateguh village community, namely as a forum for discussion for group members in solving a problem by finding solutions together through discussion forums, secondly as a forum for information for group members in obtaining information from extension agents regarding how to  choosing good/superior plant seeds, as well as handling pests and diseases that attack plants, and the third as a production unit, namely providing production facilities and infrastructure such as tanks for spraying pesticides and insecticides on plants and tripe machines to clean grass that disturbs plants.
