Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan produk e-learning bahasa Inggris berbasis Moodle  yang layak dalam peningkatan listening skill pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta (2) mengetahui seberapa efektif e-learning berbasis Moodle terhadap listening skill pembelajaran bahasa Inggris siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R D atau research and development menggunakan model Alessi Trollip melalui tiga langkah berikut: planning, design, dan development. Subjek Penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. Tenik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Produk e-learning dikembangkan dengan sebuah Learning Management System (LMS) online yang dibuat dengan software aplikasi Moodle versi 3.1.  (2) Produk e-learning berbasis Moodle telah memenuhi kriteria dan dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan validasi ahli media dengan skor 3,70 dengan kriteria “Baik”, berdasarkan validasi ahli materi dengan rerata skor 4,34 dengan kriteria “Sangat baik”, dan berdasarkan respon pengguna dengan skor 4,30 dengan kriteria “Sangat baik”. (3) Hasil belajar siswa kelas X UPW 2 SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan e-learning. Keefektifan produk terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada kompetensi listening dibuktikan melalui peningkatan hasil belajar yang diketahui dari persentase hasil evaluasi pretest dan posttest yakni sebesar 17,19%.Kata kunci: e-learning, listening, bahasa Inggris DEVELOPING  AN E-LEARNING PRODUCT BASED ON MOODLE FOR INCREASING  SONG COMPREHENSION IN TEACHING ENGLISHAbstractThis study aims to: (1) produce e-learning based on Moodle English viable in increasing listening skills in Teaching English for SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta (2) determine how effective E-learning based Moodle on listening skills in Teaching English for students class X SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta. The result are as follows. (1) The E-learning product was developed with a learning management system (LMS) online software applications created with Moodle version 3.1. (2) The e-learning based on Moodle is appropriate as a medium of learning based on the judgement from media experts with the feasibility mean score of 3.70 (good category), judgement from material experts with the feasibility mean score of 4.34 (very good category) and  judgement from user  with the feasibility mean score of 4.30 (very good category). (3) The learning achievement of class X UPW 2 students of SMK Negeri 4 Yogyakarta increases after the use of the e-learning product. The effectiveness of the product to learning English in listening competence demonstrated through learning outcome is known of the percentage of pretest and posttest evaluation results which amounted to 17.19%.Keywords: e-learning, listening, English

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenyebaran Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang sangat signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan. Di Indonesia, tepatnya pada bulan Maret 2020 lalu, untuk pertama kalinya pemerintah mengumumkan dua kasus pasien positif Covid - 19 di Indonesia. Dimasa Pandemi Covid-19, dengan kebijakan pemerintah untuk belajar, bekerja dan beribadah dirumah untuk menekan penyebaran Covid-19, hal tersebut pada akhirnya berdampak pada semua bidang. Pada bidang pendidikan, dengan kebijakan belajar dirumah maka proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring. Pembelajaran daring kemudian membawa masalah baru yakni banyak dari peserta didik yang kesulitan dengan pembelajaran secara daring. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode konsultasi yaitu melakukan pendampingan belajar terhadap siswa SD kelas 1 - 6 di Desa Sungai Terik. Tujuan dari pegabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pedampingan terhadap siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, baik pendampingan secara materi maupun juga pendampingan dalam penggunaan media online untuk pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: pendampingan; pembelajaran; Covid-19 ABSTRACTThe spread of Covid-19 has had a very significant impact on various aspects of life. In Indonesia, on March 2020, for the first time, the government announced two cases of positive Covid-19 patients in Indonesia. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the government policies to study, work and worship at home to suppress the spread of Covid-19, this ultimately has an impact on all aspects. In aspect of education, with the policy of studying at home, the learning process is carried out online. Online learning then brings a new problem, so that many students have difficulty with online learning. The method used is the consultation method, namely providing learning assistance to elementary school students grades 1 - 6 in Desa Sungai Terik. The purpose of this service is to provide assistance to students in the learning process, both material assistance and assistance in using online media for learning. Keywords: assistance; learning; Covid-19

Abstract

This study aims to determine the student’s perception of effectiveness Google platform in online learning in English for student grade XI. The Google platform comes from belajar.id it is an account launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Information Technology Centre for support the learning process as long as online learning. In addition, this research also aims for the quality of online learning in learning English that has been carried out during the covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is quantitative with a survey method. The samples of this study is 30 students. Data collection using the method survey with a likert scale. Data analysis by calculating the percentage of data on each indicator, then from the presentation of the data an analysis is carried out descriptively on each indicator. The results showed that the effectiveness of online learning in English in Covid-19 pandemic situation at SMA Muhammadiyah Tanah Grogot. The results of this study are also expected to be a recommendation for applications that can be used in learning English subjects during the pandemic and as study material for further research related to the effectiveness of online learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions of the application of Blended Learning, namely the use of Microsoft Teams in English Learning in class XI (Eleventh). This study used a quantitative survey approach which spent two months collecting data using an online closed-ended questionnaire. Data was taken from students of class XI (Eleventh) consisting of 71 respondents from a total of 181 students using Random Sampling. To determine student perceptions, the scores obtained from the closed-ended questionnaire were converted into percentages for analysis. The results of this study showed that students gave their positive perceptions of the use of Blended Learning using Microsoft Teams in English Learning. Respondents' positive ratings were obtained from their experience in learning using Microsoft Teams. They are enjoy with using Microsoft Teams which has many features and is easy to use. This research also reveals that Blended Learning using Microsoft Teams is very beneficial for them. Blended Learning makes learning not boring, they are more interested in learning. In addition, being more active and being able to add insight that is getting wider because it has many features that are very useful for students.
