Abstract

Bali island has a high tourist attraction for local and international tourists. The number of passengers every long holiday has consistently increased by 50 % or more from the data recorded by the airport. Bali's large number of tourists causes traffoc jam due to the lack of public transportation in the Bali region. With this problem, the local government provided a solution by making public buses such as Sarbagita buses, Trans Dewata buses, and Damri buses. However, many tourists didn't know the existence of this transportation. Although this transportation is low-cost, even free, this transportation is rarely carried passengers. Many tourists chose to use expensive illegal transit due to a lack of information. This study aims to provide information on routes and prices for public transportation to and from the airport so that tourists can plan their journey better. With this information system, the researcher hoped that more tourists would come through Ngurah Rai airport because of the ease of transportation. The data used in this information system is route and price data from public transportation modes operating in the Bali region. In The next stage of the design, researchers used a planning tool in a flowchart using a Flowchart and Unified Modeling Language system (UML). The Researcher developed using a Software Content Management System (CMS). The method used in this research is Research and Development (R & D), with Borg & Gall model development procedure. Some tourists have been testing the development of this multimodal information system applications. It can support the operation of the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport terminal in Bali.

Abstract

Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang has complete facilities provided by PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero). These facilities are in the form of signs or directions (signage), namely exits, check-in counters, departure, arrival, transit, toilets, warning signs, etc. Warning signs are placed in public areas such as terminals, domestic & international areas. However, at General Ahmad Yani's International Airport terminal, the placement of a warning sign is still not optimal. The topic of this research is the placement of a warning sign to improve service and safety for passengers, service users & officers. The purpose of this research is to make the movement easier, more directed and reach the destination safely. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method in the form of analyzing, describing and summarizing various conditions situation from various data collected in the form of interviews or observations regarding the problem under study that occurred in the field. The results showed that there were still signs in the terminal of Jendral Ahmad Yani Semarang International Airport that did not comply with the standards stated in KM No.22 of 200, which should have been easy to see and understand and understand. Efforts to optimize the placement of signs at the terminal can be carried out by the operation party by reviewing the location in terms of the building structure and space for movement and evaluating any criticism, suggestions, and questions from service users.

Abstract

DVOR is a navigation tool that is often used by an airport, because it is easy to maintain and easy to use. It is not only airports that use these navigation tools. The Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic has used DVOR and is used as a learning facility for cadets. DVOR that is used must have supervision from both the user and the serial computer, because there is no DVOR remote monitoring available, and only one monitoring is using a serial PC, the researcher wants to make a design that can be done remotely. The purpose of this design is to create a monitoring system for one of the navigation tools, namely the Doppler VHF Omnidirectional Range with the Intel NUC which can be accessed via a web server-based smartphone to make it easier for users to monitor the tool. Intel NUC is one of the tools that has a processor as a monitoring system. Remote monitoring of DVOR parameters and no need to enter the laboratory room, can be anywhere and anytime because DVOR monitoring can be done through the Android application.
