Abstract

Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Tujuan penelitian: meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi bebas pada siswa kelas VB SDN Petompon 01 Semarang. Jenis Penelitian: penelitian tindakan kelas melalui metode sugesti-imajinasi dengan media lagu, terdiri atas dua siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri atas dua pertemuan. Setiap siklusnya meliputi empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian: siswa kelas VB SDN Petompon 01 Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) keterampilan guru pada siklus I memperoleh skor 28 kategori baik, dan siklus II memperoleh skor 38,5 dengan kategori baik sekali. (2) aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mendapatkan rata-rata skor 18,72 kategori baik, dan pada siklus II, memperoleh rata-rata skor 26,82 dengan kategori baik sekali. (3) hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi siswa pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata skor 13,68 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 68%. Sedangkan pada siklus II memperoleh rata-rata skor 15,32 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80%. Simpulan: melalui penerapan metode sugesti-imajinasi menggunakan media lagu dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi bebas.The objective of the study was to improve teacher ability, students activities, and students achievement in free poetry writing skill to the fifth B grade of SDN Petompon 1, Semarang. Research design: action research using suggestion-imagination method using song with two cycles. Each cycle had two meetings. Each cycle had four steps. They were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Subjects of the study were students. Procedure of data collection used test and non-test. The research finding showed (1)The teacher score in the first cycle was 28 with good category. The second cycle was 38.5 with very good category. (2)The average score of students activities in the first cycle was 18.75 with good category. The second cycle was 26.82 with very good category. (3) The student achievement in the first cycle was 13.68 and the percentage of classical completeness was 68%. It increased to 15.32 and the percentage of classical completeness was 80% in the second cycle. Conclusion: suggestion-imagination method using song improved teacher ability, students activities, and students achievement in free poetry writing skill to the fifth B grade of SDN Petompon 1, Semarang.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS kelas IVB SDI Siti Sulaechah kota Semarang melalui penerapan Model Think Pair Share berbantuan Puzzle. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan 29 siswa kelas IVB. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data terdiri atas data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian keterampilan guru siklus 1 memperoleh skor 30, siklus 2 memperoleh skor 34, dan siklus 3 memperoleh skor 37. Aktivitas siswa siklus 1 memperoleh skor 17,86, siklus 2 memperoleh skor 19,7, dan siklus 3 memperoleh skor 23. Sedangkan ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 55,17 %, siklus 2 sebesar 72,41 %, dan siklus 3 sebesar 86,21 %. Model Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan Puzzle terbukti dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS IVB SDI Siti Sulaechah kota Semarang.The research is aimed to improve learning quality in social science at fourth grade of SDI Siti Sulaechah Semarang through the application of Think Pair Share model by using Puzzle. This classroom action research consist of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting which implemented in three cycles. The research subjects are teachers and 29 students of fourth grade. The data is collected by using test and non-test. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that teacher’s skill in cycle 1 scored 30, in cycle 2 scored 34, and in cycle 3 scored 37. Students’ activity in cycle 1 scored 17.86, in cycle 2 scored 19.7, and in cycle 3 scored 23. Students’ learning result in cycle 1 was 55.17%, in cycle 2 was 72.41% and in cycle 3 was 86.21%. So, it was proved that the use of Think Pair Share model by using Puzzle has improved the learning quality in social science at fourth B grade of SDI Siti Sulaechah Semarang.
