Abstract

Abstract: This development research aims to be able to produce textbooks using 4D models for prospective elementary teacher students by emphasizing the results of analysis of elementary students' thinking and character education based. In addition, this study aims to determine the appropriateness of numerical logic textbooks through analysis of elementary school students' thinking. The development model used was adapted from the 4D development model with four stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection and analysis techniques used are documentation to obtain data related to textbooks, observations in analyzing the thinking flow of elementary school students and also during trials, as well as the results of validation from material and language experts. The results of the development showed that the feasibility of material and language obtained an average score of 3.88 with the Good category so that the textbook was declared valid and could be used in lectures. While the limited trial results obtained an average score of 4.3 in the category of very practice and in the final trial the average score of 4.2 obtained in the category of very practice.   Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk dapat menghasilkan buku ajar menggunakan model 4D untuk mahasiswa calon guru SD dengan menitikberatkan pada hasil analisis berpikir siswa SD dan berbasis pendidikan karakter. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penilaian kelayakan buku ajar logika berhitung melalui analisis berpikir siswa SD. Model pengembangan yang digunakan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan 4D dengan empat tahapan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data terkait buku ajar, observasi dalam melakukan analisis alur berpikir siswa SD dan juga saat uji coba, serta hasil validasi dari ahli materi dan bahasa. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan materi dan bahasa diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 3,88 dengan kategori Baik sehingga buku ajar tersebut dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan dalam perkuliahan. Sedangkan hasil uji coba terbatas diperoleh rerata skor 4,3 dengan kategori sangat praktis dan pada uji coba akhir diperoleh rerata skor 4,2 dengan kategori sangat praktis.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a numerical logic textbook through elementary school students' thinking analysis and containing character education. Numerical Logic is one of the required competencies in mathematics that must be mastered by the pre-service teacher of elementary school. This subject is intended to see various points of view of students in the process and solving mathematical problems. Nowadays no teaching material model explains the numerical logic of elementary school students, so in the end, the teacher will teach mathematics according to the teachers’ point of view. Besides, they are required to be good role models for their students with character education. This study used the 4D Model where consist of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Method of collecting and analyzing data used was documentation method to get textbook data and observation to analyze elementary students’ thinking data before textbooks developed, the questionnaire to get expert validation data and readability by the students of the pre-service teacher of elementary school as well as a test to obtain data on the eligibility of test instrument. The validation results show that the textbook is feasible to use even though there are some improvements however not change the concept. The readability test result shows that some words need to be revised. It can be concluded that the textbook is effective and readable to be used in a class

Abstract

Poverty remains a major issue in Indonesia. One of the government's efforts to alleviate poverty is the Family Hope Program (PKH). This study aims to describe the Extension Workers' efforts in implementing the Family Hope Program (PKH) to combat poverty in Kaliwungu District, Kendal Regency. Among the outcomes of the efforts made is 1. Socialization of the distribution of assistance through the provision of materials, business training, and assistance in resolving various problems in the field. 2. Increasing the group's economy through skill-based activities such as business partners. 3. Changes in behavior (knowledge, attitudes, and skills) where being in chronic poverty becomes temporary poverty because KPM (Benefit Recipient Families) has acquired business skills. 4. Empowerment of the Independent Community through Skill Training Activities such as making bags and brooches out of cloth that will later be made into saleable goods for the beneficiary families.
