Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 became a driver of progress for all fields of life. In the field of education, era 4.0 made the old way of learning must be improved along with technological developments. One of them is gamification, a learning approach that uses several elements in games that aim to motivate students in the learning process so that they feel comfortable and have fun. This study uses a survey method, with the aim of knowing the responses, motivations, and interests of respondents related to this gamification. The survey was conducted using a google form, and distributed online to respondents through various communication media. The data is generated from research in the form of a bar chart. Then, this data is processed and the difference value is obtained from each question. Description of the research developed based on the questions in the questionnaire. The results of the study show that students like the learning process by gamification because students with a ranking game system have an award. Results Based on the research, students like learning by gamification. It should be explained that gamification is not just making a game. However, using the game system in real life. So, it is necessary to conduct further research on ways to develop gamification to increase students learning motivation.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi saat ini berdampak pula pada munculnya inovasi-inovasi di bidang pembelajaran yang membutuhkan pengelolaan lebih lanjut oleh profesi yang memiliki kompetensi relevan. Salah satu kompetensi yang memiliki urgensi adalah profesi Pengembang Teknologi Pembelajaran yang merupakan peluang karir bagi lulusan program studi Teknologi Pendidikan. Urgensi profesi tersebut juga diakui pemerintah dengan disahkannya Peraturan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara Nomor: PER/2/M.PAN/2009 tentang Jabatan Fungsional Pengembang Teknologi Pembelajaran Dan Angka Kreditnya. Namun, pengimplementasian JF-PTP di lapangan belum sepenuhnya maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dan relevansi antara profesi Teknologi Pendidikan dengan Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran dengan mengkaji lebih lanjut terkait profesi Pengembang Media Pembelajaran berdasarkan fakta yang terjadi di lapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Sumber data didapatkan dari wawancara dengan tiga orang alumni Teknologi Pendidikan UPI yang bekerja sebagai Pengembang Media Pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tidak ada kondisi eksplisit pengimplementasian Jabatan Fungsional Pengembang Teknologi Pembelajaran (JF-PTP) pada bidang pekerjaan Pengembang Media Pembelajaran. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga meneliti kompetensi lulusan Teknologi Pendidikan. Kompetensi yang harus dimiliki lulusan Teknologi Pendidikan secara lebih spesifik diantaranya mampu menguasai keterampilan 4C (collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and creativity), 5 kawasan Teknologi Pendidikan (desain, pengembangan, pemanfaatan, pelaksana, dan nilai), kompetensi pedagogi dan andragogi.Kata Kunci: Pengembang Media; Teknologi Pendidikan; Jabatan Fungsional. AbstractThe rapid development of information and communication technology at this time also has an impact of the emergence of innovations in the field of learning that require further management by professions that have relevant competencies. One of the competencies that has urgency is the learning technology development profession which is career opportunities for graduated students of Educational Tecknology major. The urgency of the profession is also recognized by the government with the ratification of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment Regulation Number: PER/2/M.PAN/2009 regarding the Functional Position of Learning Technology Developer and its Credit Score. However, the implementation of JF-PTP in the field has not been fully maximized. This study aims to determine the implementation and relevance of the Educational Technology profession with the Development of Learning Media by further examines the Learning Media Developer profession based on the facts that occur in the field. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Sources of data obtained from interviews with three alumni of Educational Technology major, UPI, who whork as Learning Media Developers. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were no explicit conditions for the implementation of the Functional Position of Learning Technology Developer (JF-PTP), Learning Media Developer. In addition, the results of the research are also the competencies of graduates of educational technology. The specific competencies include being able to master 5 areas of Educational Technology, pedagogical and andragogic competencies (depending on the focus of media development based on each level).
