Abstract

The birth of a digital knowledge-based community brought about major changes in everything. In particular, educational problems become very diverse with greater responsibilities. This requires the expertise of parents and teachers to implement appropriate solutions to various problems and also requires the ability to adapt to environmental changes. These changes require a new orientation in education, namely education that emphasizes search-and discovery-centered, learning that emphasizes creativity, initiative, and communication and cooperation. In the digital age, teachers and parents are needed who are able to keep up with the times, can play various roles as carriers of change, digital networkers, learning consultants; who have a high sense of humanity and morals, and social sensitivity, and rational and honest thoughts, so that they are able to work well in a dynamic educational environment. This article discusses several new reorientations of learning that are thought to influence vision, responsibility, social sensitivity and logical ability, and honesty. All of this leads to a reorientation to the new role of parents, namely as agents of change, knowledge renewal, and learning consultants.

Abstract

Symbolic violence is indeed not a form of violence that is easily seen, but actually this form of violence is very easily observed. It is actually everywhere, in the world of education, with its various forms and strategies. This concept was put forward by Bourdieu, a sociologist from France. Bourdieu uses this concept to explain the mechanism used by elite groups or upper groups that dominate the social structure of society to 'impose' ideology, culture, habits, or lifestyle on the lower class who dominate it. This cultural series by Bourdieu is also called habitus.

Abstract

Implementation of the GEMILANG Program in Improving the Quality of Public Services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Lamongan Regency. Thesis Government Studies Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Darul Ulum Islamic University Lamongan. This study examines the implementation of the GEMILANG Program in improving the quality of public services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Lamongan Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of the quality of pubic services at the population and civil registration office of Lamongan district, namely through the GEMILANG program. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, namely by describing the research results and analyzing them so that the results are obtained and then concluding them. This research uses data sources derived from scientific journals, book literature, official websites. In this study, researchers used data collection methods with interviews, observations, document archives, and documentation to see the results of research and discussion. The results showed that the GEMILANG Program services can be said to be in accordance with the criteria of Edward George III's theory, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Thus obtaining the result that the GEMILANG Program services carried out by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Lamongan Regency are quite effective, the implementation is beneficial for the community and the organization and the GEMILANG program will be carried out continuously.

Abstract

Identity and representation are two significant things in human life. While religion and ethnicity are two things that become the identity and representation of humans. The democratic process in Indonesia is inseparable from the political orientation of identity and representation. This research is qualitative in nature, focusing on the case of the 2018-2022 DKI Regional Election in the second round. The case will be analyzed using the theory of identity politics and political representation. The results show that identity politics orientation and political representation affect the democratic process. Democratization that upholds freedom is the basis for every individual to actualize themselves, including in political matters. The individual freedom guaranteed by the constitution in Indonesia reflects the high popularity of this democratic system. However, this freedom has ultimately made the divide between identities (religion, ethnicity, language, gender, etc.) in Indonesia clearer, especially in relation to the nation's political issues. The issue of religion and nationalism are two identities that are currently being debated in Indonesia. The polemics of identity politics are increasingly tapering until the emergence of truth claims that one interest group is better than other interest groups, this interest affair then begins to divide the nation that previously upheld differences.

Abstract

This research addresses considerations when designing and implementing social protection programs and systems for informal sector workers in the extractive industry in Bojonegoro Regency. Policy and program considerations relating to social protection, the quality of day-to-day administration of social protection programs greatly influence the extent to which these programs generate the expected impact. This paper outlines best practices at each level of social protection program design and implementation as a way to provide guidance on how such programs can best meet the needs of informal sector workers. As such, it also includes examples of social protection programs and systems that address the vulnerabilities faced by informal sector workers in extractive industries in other countries and regions. The aim is to explore the level of access and understanding of informal workers to social protection programs in the extractive industry sector in Bojonegoro. The research methods used include surveys and interviews with a representative sample of informal workers in the sector. The main findings of this study show that the level of access to social protection, such as health insurance and social security, is still low among informal workers. In addition, their understanding of social rights and the availability of social protection programs is also limited. These results highlight the need for greater efforts from the government and other stakeholders to improve informal workers' awareness and access to social protection. Policy implications of this study include expanding the coverage of social protection programs, improving accessibility and understanding of these programs, and developing more inclusive policies to improve the welfare of informal workers in the extractive industry sector in Bojonegoro.

Abstract

Poverty is still one of the main problems for developing countries, including Indonesia. Indonesia is one of the developing countries which has quite a large number of poor people and needs to be resolved and find a way out until now. Various poverty reduction programs have been continuously carried out by both the central government and regional governments. This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Poverty Reduction Policy from a Political Economy Perspective in Lamongan Regency. The research results show that the implementation of the Poverty Alleviation Policy in Lamongan Regency from a Political Economy Perspective has gone quite well. the entire series of Lamongan Regency Regional Regulation Number 16 of 2021 concerning poverty alleviation, home care service programs, RTLH and HAMP. The success of the Poverty Reduction Policy is strongly supported by the Lamongan Regency Regional Government and related Regional Apparatus Organizations by prioritizing collaboration.
