Abstract

The Open Racing Car Simulator (TORCS) works as both a playable game and a framework to develop artificial intelligence-based controllers. As a platform for researchers, TORCS has become a platform in controller development with various approaches in artificial intelligence using sensors and actuators provided by the SCR Server. In this research, the author develops a controller using the Kalman Filter, an algorithm to predict and measure states based on previous measurements to determine future trajectory.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Sun Florist is a business engaged in the sale of flowers. In managing its business operations, Sun Florist still faces challenges such as recording sales transactions, marketing and promoting products, and knowing sales turnover reports. In managing data such as product data, ordering data, and transactions, it is still done manually, recorded on paper. Additionally, document storage media such as purchase orders, invoices, and delivery orders are also recorded on paper and stored in folders, thus the encountered difficulties in tracing the data recording process flow due to lack of integration and requiring large storage space, and consumers needing relatively long time or having difficulty obtaining information about the required products. From these issues, this research produces a web-based operational sales information system to assist the company in business efficiency and effectiveness. The research methodology used includes interview, observation, and literature study, while the system development methodology utilizes the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a system depiction tool, with PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has led to an increasing volume of shipments, requiring more efficient logistics systems. Package sorting still largely relies on conveyor systems, which have limitations in terms of space, cost, and energy consumption. Therefore, this project develops CAGO (Carry & Go), an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) based on image processing, as a more flexible and energy-efficient alternative for package sorting. The methods used in this project include image processing with a camera to detect package colors, 5-channel line tracking sensor module for line following navigation, and ESP32 as the main control unit. The AGV is designed to automatically transport and sort packages based on color, which represents the delivery destination. With this approach, the AGV is expected to be an efficient solution for package sorting, especially for logistics companies with limited space and resources. Its flexibility, lower power consumption, and independence from large infrastructures like conveyor systems make it a more adaptable alternative for various logistics businesses.

Abstract

The objevtive of research is to find out what type of code mixing used by EFL lecturers in Classroom Contex and what the impact are use code mixing used by EFL lecturers in classroom context. The researcher conducted this investigation used qualitative methodologies. Purposive sampling technique for the participant lecturers and snowball sampling for the students at campus 1 UKI Toraja. Observation and interview are the instruments of this research. The findings show that there are four types of code mixing used, namely insertion, alternation, congruent lexicalization, and involving a change in pronunciation. The impact of using code mixing is incredibly positive, with students reporting increased understanding, motivation, and engagement in the learning process. However, there are also concerns that dependence on code mixing may reduce students' motivation to learn English independently. This research emphasizes the importance of a balanced teaching strategy to effectively support students' language development. In conclusion, the research shows four types of code-mixing insertion, alternation, congruent lexicalization, and involving a change in pronunciation. Each contributing positively to students' understanding, motivation, and engagement in learning. However, reliance on code mixing may hinder students' independent learning of English. Therefore, a balanced teaching strategy is essential to effectively support students' language development. Keywords: Sociolinguistics, Code Mixing, EFL Lecturers, Impact, Multilingualism

Abstract

This study explores the influence of creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and big ambition to success on the entrepreneurial desire of Generation Z students at STMB Multi Smart. Using a descriptive quantitative method, data were collected from 72 students through purposive sampling. Analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The results indicated that creativity and entrepreneurial spirit had a significant partial effect on entrepreneurial desire, whereas big ambition to success showed no significant individual effect. However, together, the three variables positively influenced entrepreneurial desire, with an R-squared value of 57.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of incentives and job satisfaction on employee performance, with work enthusiasm as an intervening variable at PT. Keaj Beaute Group. The research employs a quantitative approach using descriptive methods. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 employees and analyzed using multiple linear regression and path analysis. The results show that incentives do not have a significant effect on either work enthusiasm or employee performance. Job satisfaction significantly influences work enthusiasm but has no direct impact on performance. Work enthusiasm has a significant positive effect on employee performance and serves as a mediating variable between job satisfaction and employee performance, but does not mediate the relationship between incentives and performance. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing work enthusiasm through effective management of job satisfaction to achieve optimal employee performance.
