Abstract

The image reconstruction for two-dimensional high-speed Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) has been successfully studied with multi-frequency current injection. The aim of this study is to get the best image reconstruction under the influence of multi-frequency current injection of this EIT system. In this method, we used current injection at 1 mA with varies of frequency in the range 10 to 50 kHz injected at the practical phantoms with 16 electrodes. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cylinder was put in the practical phantom as the anomaly. Then, The boundary voltage of the practical phantom was measured by the voltage measurement circuit. After that, it processed in the computer with Gauss-Newton Algorithm to got image reconstruction. The result showed that the best image reconstruction was achieved at 10 kHz of frequency current injection. The best image reconstruction had more accuracy of shape, position and electrical properties of an anomaly in boundary phantom than another image reconstruction result.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the characterization of coughing sounds based on the measured sound pressure level of the Arduino-based MAX9814 sound sensor to determine the characteristics of coughing sounds based on the Sound Pressure Level (SPL). This research method is carried out by designing sound sensor hardware and software using the MAX9814 sound sensor. After that, recording the coughing sound data from the cough voice coswara respondent data set using a sound sensor and converting it to SPL data. After that, the cough SPL data was analyzed from the SPL cycle graph during recording and the cough phase pattern. And the resulting characterization of coughing sound based on coughing pressure using an Arduino-based MAX9814 sound sensor produced a coughing sound character in terms of sound pressure level (SPL) based on the expulsive phase and the intermediate phase of coughing. The expulsive phase indicator is emphasized the intensity of occurrence and density in one cycle of recording coughing sounds. And for the intermediate phase based on the drop rate of the SPL back to the SPL position without coughing. The SPL of cough detected by the MAX9814 sound sensor is ±80dB.

Abstract

Abstract

Students' requirements are not as well met by the teaching resources that are currently on the market. The majority of instructional materials tend to emphasize memorization of abstract ideas without giving detailed context. As a result, students show little interest in and comprehension of the subject matter being taught. PISA and AKM show low numeracy literacy skills in students. This study examines Babat's SD Muhammadiyah 2's math teaching resource needs for numeracy literacy. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods. The study found that current teaching materials are not improving students' numeracy literacy skills. Up to 8% of students are very low, 42% are low, 26% are medium, 21% are high, and 3% are very high. Students like using colorful instructional materials and find LKPD fun for arithmetic.

Abstract

Mycobacterium tuberculosis is the cause of tuberculosis (TBC), one of the deadliest diseases in the world that affects the respiratory system. One of the nations having the highest number of tuberculosis cases worldwide is Indonesia. Health professionals must improve patient monitoring as one way to address this issue. This work aims to compile and describe monitoring instruments. The monitoring sensor is intended to help medical professionals treat patients and raise the quality of life for TB patients. Using advancements in technology, specifically the Internet of Things (IoT) to remotely operate electronic equipment, the Arduino Cloud Web serves as a platform for transmitting and storing patient cough data, enabling medical professionals to Recognize the intensity of the cough at any moment and act accordingly. Data on the sensor's accuracy and error values, sensitivity, repeatability, precision, and resolution are gathered as part of this monitoring sensor characterisation process. The instrument was calibrated using an Audiosensor with a 1000Hz audio generator and an SLM (Sound Level Meter) calibrator prior to data collection. The investigation yielded excellent results, with an accuracy rating of 96,14% and an error of 3,86%. This figure is reasonably close to the estimated value of 5% that has been calculated for the Gaussian distribution. The SLM with a sensor has an average value of 0.05, whereas the audiotool has a sensor value of 0.02. 50% is the repeatability value, 0.01% is the precision value, and 0.0125 is the sensor resolution.

Abstract

Breast cancer has the highest prevalence and mortality rates among cancers in Indonesia, largely due to delayed diagnosis. One of the major challenges is the poor quality of medical images used for early detection. This study aims to improve the quality of images in the important area of the skin around breast cancer patients using Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data by combining methods to enhance contrast and reduce noise. A total of 80 image data (40 cancer anomalies and 40 normal without cancer) and utilized MATLAB software version 24.1.0.2537033 (R2024a) for image processing, starting from increasing CNR and increasing SNR to semi-automatic ROI masking. The results showed that there was a significant increase in CNR values (an average of 38%) and SNR (an average of 42%). These results are supported by a paired T-test, which shows a significant difference between pre- and post-processed images, both in CNR α < 0.0001 and SNR α < 0.0001 parameters. These findings support the claim that image quality improvement is not only visually evident but also statistically evident. This study proves that the method used is effective in improving image quality and shows that LiDAR data has great potential in medical imaging systems.
