Abstract

Taekwondo kyorugy is a martial arts fight conducted one-on-one using the standard rules and performed for 2 minutes 3 times a round. In the case of equal value,  there is an additional round with sudden death system. The type of taekwondo kyorugy/fight motion is always done with speed and explosive motion. Therefore, the energy system used is predominantly aerobic. During the competition period, it needs exercise program with a model that is close to the real game but can maintain anaerobic endurance performance up to the main competition. This study was designed using the method of action research where the training program was run and simultaneously observed and evaluated to obtain the desired results. After that, the test results were processed to result in the average values then narrated as it is shown in the existing graphs. The Running-based Anaerobic Sprint Test (RAST) was implemented for durability tests. The results of the discussion on the chart competition period did not show significant change. This condition indicates that training program can maintain endurance performance during the competition period. In the discussion on the competition period, there are findings which strongly confirm the assumption that taking a rest is as important as doing the exercise itself. It is caused by the fact that some tests which were repeated because of lack of rest and the result were not good, but after adequate rest was given the result was much better. Based on the results of the exercise using the four physical exercise models employing the taekwondo approach, techniques, and tactics, it was proven that it was capable of maintaining the aerobic endurance performance during the competition period. It is hoped that athletes will quickly adapt to the actual match.

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the characteristics of lactate threshold in Taekwondo Yogyakarta Special Region athletes during competition. This research is a descriptive study conducted with survey techniques. Data was collected with a test that aims to understand how high levels of lactic acid in the blood of Yogyakarta Taekwondo athletes during competition. The sample used in this study is a DIY Taekwondo athletes who participate in Taekwondo championship. This study was conducted in September 2013 at Sports Hall the National Development University of Yogyakarta. In this research, statistical analysis by paired sample t-test. All statistical analyzes were performed with computer applications using serial program SPSS for Windows version 19, with a signi icance level of 5 %. Different test results on the measurement of lactic acid levels at 1, at 2, at 3, at 4, and 5 to show that an increase in blood lactic acid levels. While the results of different tests on the blood lactic acid levels at 6 measurements decrease. Highest levels of lactic acid produced in the measurement to 5 or in Round 3. Recovery with a time of 10 minutes after the match has not been enough to restore blood lactic acid levels in condition before the match or at rest

Abstract

Skills disparity in controlling the ball in the soccer pitch are skills that must be constantly improved and owned by every soccer player along with the ideal capacity of oxygen consumption known as VO2max. The small-sided game's training is all about needed. The aim is to reveal the extent to which is the effect of this latter program on VO2max and skills improvement. This study was a quantitative quasi-experimental research of 24 participants as a sample size from SSB schools in Yogyakarta. The instruments used were pretraining and post-training tests designed and implemented by the research after going through validation processes. The data obtained consists of mean, standard deviation based on some antropometric factors along with ANOVA data testing to view the means difference between/within unrelated groups for correlational calculations. Our results were impressive that significant effects were found either on VO2 max increment or players' performances. We concluded that the introduced program has beneficial impacts on our young soccer players related, specific performance, and VO2max indeed. On p-value < 0.05. We have realized that the substantial portion of correlated data has sig-value less than 0.05; that means strong effect was found. Shortly, soccer coaches, practitioners should always strive to incorporate deliberate training programs for the sake of their career and novice players.

Abstract

Abstract

Sports events both in the region and nationally are a place to search for talents and show their abilities in terms of sports achievements. The results of the championships in the area are capital for higher coaching, for example National Training (Pelatnas). Many club or regional coaches lack an understanding of the physical condition of athletes. This is what causes the gap in knowledge level. Because we know that physical condition is the most important component in supporting athletes' achievements. The lack of understanding related to physical conditions is due to the fact that in the regions there is still a very minimal increase in human resources, especially physical coaches in sports. If left unchecked, it is feared that it will reduce the performance of athletes. The implementation method for improving the human resources of physical trainers is to conduct a national-level physical trainer training that last for four days. This training is attended by coaches from various sports branches from different regions. The training process is carried out theoretically and through practical field application. Based on the result of the training activities and the assessments conducted to determine of the training materials, it has been found that 5.6% of the participants have not yet met the assessment standards, while 94.4% of the the participants have understood the standard level of material comprehension.
