Abstract

Community Reading Centers (TBM) are facilities established for reading that offer reading material services in the form of: books, magazines, tabloids, newspapers, comics, and other multimedia materials. The Tengku Luckman Sinar community reading center has a collection of books on history, art, culture, law, novels and encyclopedias. The management of the Tengku Luckman Sinar reading garden has not been fully implemented properly. This study aims to see or know visits to children's reading interest and the use of children's reading collections at TBM Tengku Luckman Sinar which has provided a large collection of books. This study uses a qualitative research methodology that uses primary data. The results of this study are that Luckman Sinar TBM is still constrained by the problem of low funding, which is the biggest obstacle for this TBM library/facility. TBM admits that it does not have any funds, including TBM Tengku Luckman Sinar, and continues to use the funds used by TBM as personal funds. Evaluation of the library's financial strategy is a measurement and evaluation of the impact of financial measures that compare the results achieved with the goals set. Abstract

A good library service is one that can meet the needs, tastes, interests and desires of users. So, through library services, users can obtain the information they need optimally and take advantage of the various search tools available. This research uses a type of qualitative research that requires as much information and data as possible to achieve the research objectives. This type of research is a case study because this research is carried out in depth with an institution and with a narrow subject. As a case study, the data collected comes from various sources of literature. This research resulted in that in the UINSU library itself, library service activities in tracing student information were quite good, starting from the service of time, place, and other excellent services that were included in the best service category. Abstract

The existence of the internet in the library is an interesting thing that must be put to good use by students to improve the quality of their services. This new phenomenon will change the service principles that have been adhered to by libraries, namely enriching collections and increasing number of users to come to the library. Searching for information via the internet is very useful for information seekers, because they can browse information relatively quickly and precisely. This research uses a type of qualitative research that requires as much information and data as possible to achieve research objectives. This type of research is a case study because this research is carried out in depth with an institution and with a narrow subject. As a case study, the data collected comes from various sources of literature. This research results that the quality of the internet network in the UINSU Library has an important role in the student learning process. Especially students who don't have their own laptops, they can do their assignments at the UINSU Library. It is also very important when they do group assignments, they can use the space provided to do their group assignments. Keywords: Information Search, Library, Internet Network
