Abstract

Abstrak— The Human Development Index (HDI) is a parameter that functions to assess the success of the quality of human life. The increase in HDI in West Sumatra Province was not accompanied by an equal distribution of HDI in each Regency / City. The factors used in the study are poverty, life expectancy (AHH), average school length (RLS), long school expectancy (HLS), per capita expenditure and economic growth. The research was conducted to see what factors influenced HDI in West Sumatra Province from 2012 to 2018, in which districts / cities were divided into three regional groups based on regional profiles, regional potential and average regional income. The results showed that AHH, RLS, HLS and per capita expenditure were factors that influenced HDI for group I regions. Poverty, HLS and expenditure per capita were factors that influenced the HDI of group II regions. Keywords: HDI, Panel Data Regression Analysis, Fixed Effect Model (FEM).

Abstract

Abstract – The route of transportation is a solutions in minimizing the costs of distribution. Saving Matrix method is a method in Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) that used to get efficient routes. The use of this method is by combining the points goals that have the greatest distance saving and paying attention to the volume of requests of each objective. Then performing visits in order by vehicle so that efficient delivery route obtained. In this paper, it is discussed the application of Saving Matrix method in determination routes of delivery product at company DEF. In the end of the work, it was found that this method gives less route than initial route of six routes into five routes. In Month, gotten savings distance 105 km or about 14%, savings fuel 21 liters or about 14% so the use of the vehicle is reduced meaning a magnitude can minimizing cost. Keywords – Transportation, Route, Saving Matrix, VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem)

Abstract

Buyer satisfaction is a human feeling that is described in the variable of words. This variable is not rigid so that its value cannot be calculated with certainty. So to feel directly the value of these variables can use fuzzy logic. Research data obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires based on indicators of service quality, product quality and price. The stages of the Tsukamoto fuzzy method are determining the fuzzy set for the input and output variables, determining the implication function, forming fuzzy logic rules, and performing defuzzification with a weighted average. Based on the results of the value of customer satisfaction obtained in subject 1 with a value of service quality 14, product quality 14 and price 10, the results obtained with a satisfaction value of 49.88.

Abstract

The problem of poverty is a complex problem so that it becomes a priority in development in a country. Various efforts have been made such as social assistance programs, but the assistance provided is not always evenly distributed and not on target. Therefore, it is necessary to determine priority handling for the community by grouping data on the poor, especially in the Province of West Sumatra, Indonesia. In this study, an analysis was carried out using all districts/cities in West Sumatra and poverty indicators, namely the percentage of poor people, poverty depth index, poverty severity index, literacy rate, average length of schooling, expected length of schooling, and open unemployment rate. Grouping was carried out using the Partitioning Around Medoids (PAM) method, or better known as the K-Medoids method. The research results obtained 2 poverty level clusters, namely cluster 1 is a high level with 11 districts/cities members, and cluster 2 is a low level with 8 districts/cities members.

Abstract

Pariaman City is a city in West Sumatra which contributes to agriculture, especially rice. For this reason, rice production must be increased by paying attention to good management so as to increase the amount of rice production. This applied research aims to minimize the objectives of each constraint function encountered so that optimal rice production results can be obtained using the method approach preemptive goal programming. The constraints given are the use of seeds, the use of urea and NPK fertilizers, the use of pesticides, production yields and production values. Of the six targets considered, based on the results of the analysis, it shows that four targets have been met, namely the targets of maximizing production yields and production value and minimizing the use of urea and NPK fertilizers. In order to achieve this target, it is necessary to add 1.582 single varieties per hectare
