Abstract

Abstrak Desa Indra Sakti merupakan daerah dengan mayoritas penduduk bermata pencaharian dibidang perkebunan. Sebagian besar masyarakat belum memahami jenis-jenis tanaman obat serta khasiatnya. Tanaman obat banyak dijumpai, namun pemanfaatannya belum optimal. Tujuan pembuatan apotek hidup adalah untuk memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan tentang manfaat tanaman obat serta sarana dalam meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat Desa Indra Sakti. Tahapan yang digunakan antara lain persiapan, survei lapangan, pembuatan apotek hidup dan pemeliharaan. Jenis tanaman obat yang dibudidaya adalah jahe (Zingiber officinale), lengkuas (Alpinia pyramidata), kencur (Kaemferia galangal), kunyit (Curcuma longa L.), temulawak (Curcuma Xanthorrhiza), serai wangi (Cymbopogon nardus (L.) Rendl), sirih (Piper battle L.), sirih merah (Piper ornatum), binahong (Anredera cordifol) dan betadine (Jatropha multifida L.) Program kerja pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Indra Sakti, Kecamatan Tapung ini menghasilkan apotek hidup sebagai sarana dalam budidaya tanaman obat. Kata Kunci: Apotek Hidup, Tanaman Obat, Indra Sakti Abstract Indra Sakti Village is an area with the majority of the population working in the plantation sector. Most people do not understand the types of medicinal plants and their properties. Many medicinal plants are found, but their utilization is not optimal. The purpose of making a live pharmacy is to provide information and knowledge about the benefits of medicinal plants and facilities in improving the health of the people of Indra Sakti Village. The stages used include preparation, field surveys, manufacture of live pharmacies and maintenance. The types of medicinal plants cultivated are ginger (Zingiber officinale), galangal (Alpinia pyramidata), kencur (Kaemferia galangal), turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), temulawak (Curcuma Xanthorrhiza), citronella (Cymbopogon nardus (L.) Rendl), betel (Piper battle L.), red betel (Piper ornatum), binahong (Anredera cordifol) and betadine (Jatropha multifida L.) This community service work program in Indra Sakti Village, Tapung District produces live pharmacies as a means of cultivating medicinal plants. Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in marine catch, especially shrimp commodities, with a production volume reaching 1.12 million tons, but only 220 thousand tons or approximately 19.64%, are exported. One contributing factor to the low export rate is poor temperature control throughout the cold chain supply process. The aim of this study to design and develop an air blast freezing system with a capacity of 25 kg, and to compare the design results with experimental data. The main focus of the research is to increase the cooling system’s capacity to meet the demands of the cold chain in the storage of marine catch, while maintaining product temperatures consistently between -18 °C and -25 °C. The design results for the low-temperature cycle (LTC) yielded evaporator load of 788.66 W, compressor power of 221.78 W, condenser load of 1317.64 W, and an evaporator surface area of 4.84 m². For the high-temperature cycle (HTC), the evaporator load was 1499.76 W, compressor power was 159.61 W, condenser load was 948.27 W, and condenser surface area was 8.98 m². Experimental tests showed that the system was able to reach product temperatures between -19.6 °C and -25.3 °C, with a design COP of 2.014 and an actual COP of 2.413 for the cascade system
