Abstract

Heart disease is currently a disease that has taken over many human lives. Data shows that more than 17 million people have died from heart disease. The high number of deaths, therefore, requires special handling to treat and prevent heart disease. In the development of technology, diagnosis of heart disease can be done with the help of information technology, one of which is through machine learning. This study aims to implement machine learning through the SVM algorithm to predict heart disease. The model formed by SVM produces an evaluation value indicated by an accuracy value of 0.85, a precision of 0.93, a recall of 0.76, and an f-1 score of 0.83. This model is used as training data to predict heart disease which is then successfully used to create a system through the Streamlit library which can be easily accessed via the website.

Abstract

This study examines audience responses to the educational program Clash of Champions produced by Ruangguru and inspired by the South Korean format University War. Through its interactive academic competition concept, Clash of Champions has succeeded in attracting public interest, triggering various reactions on social media, and providing a basis for conducting opinion studies to understand audience views. This study uses the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm to classify netizen comments on platform X (Twitter) into positive, negative, and neutral sentiments. The data processing process includes data collection through scraping, text preprocessing, and word weighting using the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) algorithm. Model evaluation with accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics shows various audience opinions, with the majority showing positive sentiments towards the educational innovation of the program. This model achieves an accuracy of 79%, precision of 79%, recall of 95%, and F1-score of 86% for the positive sentiment classification. This indicates a strong appreciation from the public for the educational value of this program. This study is expected to provide insight for educational content developers to create educational and interesting programs.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Bandar Laksamana District, Bengkalis, Riau have been identified by FMIPA students from Riau University who participated in the Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Community Service Program (Kukerta) in 2024. There are 66 UMKM in three villages with various businesses such as stalls, fried foods, beauty, culinary, craftsmen. The people of one village seemed apathetic in managing UMKM because they were considered as side businesses only, had no prospects for development and were not interested in participating in online marketing training. From observations, several UMKM products have the potential to be marketed online because they are unique as typical Malay foods. An approach was made to UMKM actors to be assisted in having the skills to design attractive and dynamic packaging labels, assisting online marketing until the market reaches various corners of the country. A good product packaging label will advance the business and introduce the diversity of typical Malay culinary delights to the public. Canva is a simple graphic design application that is easy for beginners to use. Canva provides paid and free services with various easy-to-adopt template features with various completeness such as image cropping, text insertion, color, and so on. The Canva application needs to be introduced to UMKM to attract their product market through unique and attractive banner, poster, and banner designs so that the product display remains fresh, updated according to needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya pelatihan keterampilan digital sebagai instrumen untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (smart people) dan kualitas hidup (smart living) di wilayah pedesaan. Masalah utama yang dihadapi adalah kesenjangan digital antara desa dan kota, yang berpotensi menghambat peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji apakah pelatihan keterampilan digital mampu menjadi solusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat di Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi multivariat untuk menguji hubungan antara keterampilan digital dengan peningkatan smart people dan smart living. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 100 responden dari lima desa yang terlibat dalam program pelatihan keterampilan digital. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian bahwa keterampilan digital berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (smart people), seperti literasi digital, fotografi, dan pemanfaatan Internet of Things (IoT) untuk mendukung kegiatan ekonomi dan keseharian. Namun, pengaruhnya terhadap peningkatan kualitas hidup (smart living) lebih kecil, karena faktor lain seperti infrastruktur dan dukungan sosial turut memengaruhi keberhasilan penerapan teknologi, termasuk perbaikan infrastruktur dan dukungan lingkungan yang kondusif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih holistik untuk mendukung transformasi digital di wilayah pedesaan.

Abstract

Prediksi penjualan merupakan aspek penting dalam pengelolaan operasional Supermarket. Algoritma Machine Learning dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menghasilkan prediksi yang akurat. Supermarket mencatat transaksi penjualan setiap harinya, data transaksi tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendapatkan informasi dalam memperoleh keuntungan. Pada penelitian ini, algoritma Random Forest Regression digunakan dengan tujuan untuk memprediksi penjualan di Supermarket. Data dalam dataset berjumlah 1000 data. Proses preprocessing data dimulai dengan menentukan fitur yang paling relevan sebagai variabel independen dan variabel dependen. Selanjutnya, entri kosong pada data numerik diisi dengan nilai rata-rata (mean), sedangkan pada data kategori, entri kosong diisi dengan nilai modus. Evaluasi kinerja model algoritma diukur dengan menggunakan beberapa metrik, yaitu Out-of-Bag (OOB) score sebesar 0.9999, Mean Squared Error (MSE) sebesar 2.4899, R-squared atau koefisien determinasi mencapai 0.9999, dan Mean Absolute Error (MAE) bernilai 0.9305. Secara keseluruhan, nilai-nilai metrik menunjukkan model Random Forest Regression sangat akurat untuk prediksi penjualan di supermarket.

Abstract

Domestic violence is currently a case that is easily exposed by the public. People can easily find many cases through social media. The latest case was experienced by a social media influencer, Cut Intan. This case has attracted public attention and is widely discussed on several social media, one of which is on the X app. With this phenomenon, an analysis of public sentiment towards domestic violence cases that occur in Indonesia is needed. The analysis was conducted using the Support Vector Machine algorithm, a classification algorithm that can classify values into certain classes and has a good level of accuracy. Experiments on analyzing public sentiment towards domestic violence cases using the SVM algorithm resulted in an accuracy score of 95%. The precision score for negative sentiment is 94%, neutral sentiment is 100%, and positive sentiment is 100%. The recall result for negative sentiment is 100%, neutral sentiment is 67%, and positive sentiment has a value of 77%. The results of the f-1 score on negative sentiment are 97%, 80% neutral sentiment, and 87% positive sentiment. While the percentage of community sentiment obtained is 84.40% having negative sentiment, 8.24% having positive sentiment, and 7.36% having neutral sentiment.

Abstract

Sungai Pakning Village Office has 12 village officials who are tasked with providing services to the people of Sungai Pakning Village, Bengkalis Regency. Public services carried out by the Sungai Pakning Village Government are currently still manual. The Sungai Pakning Village assistance office has not utilized information and communication technology in providing services to the community. The absence of the application of information and communication technology is a weakness that must be addressed by the Sungai Pakning Village Government. The purpose of this community service activity is to digitize village administration services carried out in Sungai Pakning Village using OpenSID which is developed openly (open source) by the Opendesa Community. This activity begins with a location survey, problem identification, implementation, socialization, and ends with an evaluation. This community service activity produces a website that can be used by the Sungai Pakning Village Apparatus in providing digital-based services to the community. The survey results produced socialization activities related to the suitability of the website, namely 37% very appropriate/clear, 60% appropriate/clear, 2% hesitant, and 1% quite appropriate/clear. This shows that participants can accept the community service activities that have been carried out.

Abstract

The selection of thesis titles by students is an important thing to do as part of the graduation requirements in completing undergraduate studies. In general, the difficulty or complexity of the thesis can be reflected through the title of the thesis that is appointed. This can indicate that the more difficult a thesis title, the longer it will take to complete the thesis research. This study utilizes the data mining method using machine learning, namely linear regression, in predicting how long it will take to complete a thesis title. The data used is obtained from the words or text in the thesis title as a feature or independent variable and the completion time in days as the dependent variable to predict the time required for students starting from a thesis proposal seminar to a comprehensive seminar or thesis final session. The regression model produces an evaluation value of the coefficient of determination of 0.999, which is close to the maximum value equal to 1.

Abstract

Adaptation to the rapid development of information technology today is something that cannot be avoided by government agencies. The Pekanbaru Community Empowerment and Training Center (Balai PPM Pekanbaru) is one of the agencies that can easily adapt to these developments. The problem faced by Balai PPM Pekanbaru is the large number of training participants in five provinces in Sumatra, making it difficult to manage training participants. This study aims to create an information system for managing training participants at Balai PPM Pekanbaru. The method used in this study is the Research and Development method. The results of the research that has been carried out are to help the Balai PPM Pekanbaru admin in managing training participants easily so that all data is centralized in a system that can work more easily and efficiently.

Abstract

Internet connection reliability is essential for facilitating administrative tasks in educational settings, including early childhood education facilities like RA Raudhoh Hasanah. The establishment is experiencing inconsistent internet service due to a lack of Wi-Fi access points and the unavailability of a bandwidth control system. This research intends to introduce a network management system utilizing MikroTik devices to address these problems. The study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology that includes five organized phases: planning, gathering data, designing the system, executing it, and conducting tests. The network architecture was constructed using a bridge topology, configured with a DHCP Server, managed bandwidth through Simple Queue, and a hotspot system that operates on vouchers via the Mikhmon interface. Testing and evaluation results demonstrate notable enhancements in internet reliability and distribution of bandwidth. Furthermore, the voucher system simplifies management of user access with improved flexibility. As a result, the implemented system has shown to be effective in enhancing administrative activities at RA Raudhoh Hasanah.
