Abstract

As part of the ecological system, humans have a dominant role in determining the good and bad of the environment. The stability and comfort of the environment depend on the positive behavior around the elements of the ecosystem in it, including humans. The emergence of various environmental problems is also inseparable from human indiscipline in protecting and preserving them. An environment that is maintained properly, will respond positively by providing great benefits to humans. Otherwise, an environment that is treated badly will repay with damage and disaster. The leadership of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da'wah at IAIN Kediri was fully aware of this, especially the Hadith Science Study Program. This awareness forms a religious construction based on an understanding of religious texts, particularly Hadith. Through qualitative research, this reality will be described descriptively and analytically. The results illustrate that the epitome construction of environmental conservation activities is manifested in participation in the Green Campus program. The sociological construction contestation was seen in the leadership of the Hadith Science Study Program and the academic community for the absorption of religious teaching, thus generating practices in the form of involvement in tree and flower planting activities in the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da'wah.

Abstract

The research reveals that the Ancak tradition in Wedoroklurak Village, Candi Sidoarjo, consists of a series of activities aimed at purifying the village in preparation for the upcoming month of Ramadan. Rooted in an understanding of Quranic values, particularly those concerning charity (sedekah) and gratitude (syukur) as outlined in QS. Ibrahim [14]: 7, QS. Luqman [21]: 12, QS. al-Baqarah [2]: 264 and 267, the tradition also embodies the living Quran. Analyzing it through Peter L. Berger's Social Construction perspective, the dialectical interplay of verses within the tradition unfolds in three phases. Firstly, Externalization involves the dialogue between religious figures' ideas about comprehending verses on gratitude and charity with societal elements. Gratitude is construed as an expression of appreciation for Allah's blessings and the village's founding predecessors, expressed through charitable acts and communal prayers. Secondly, Objectivation sees the acceptance of these ideas by the community, institutionalizing them into a collective activity. Community members converge at Mbah Nursinah's tomb, the village's founder, bringing offerings like rice, dishes, fruits, and agricultural products, contributing to communal prayers for the village's founders. Thirdly, Internalization transforms the activity into an integral aspect of community life. Transmitted across generations, this internalization process signifies a robust social construction, where the norms and values of the Ancak tradition become inseparable from the identity and daily life of Wedoroklurak Village's residents.

Abstract

Early marriage is a significant issue in social and health studies, often having profound effects on individuals and communities. This article addresses early marriage by focusing on the interpretation of Hadith concerning the marriage of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to Aisha (RA) and its relevance in a modern context. Employing a qualitative approach and literature review methodology, the study gathers data from Hadith exploration and literature analysis to provide contextual and applicative understanding. The findings underscore the importance of aligning Hadith interpretations with contemporary social conditions and the need for effective strategies to address the psychological, reproductive health, and social impacts of early marriage. Despite the historical Islamic context of early marriage having different foundations, its psychological, reproductive health, and social implications require in-depth consideration. Psychologically, early marriage often leads to stress and emotional disturbances due to adolescent mental immaturity. Reproductively, risks of complications rise due to physical and hormonal immaturity, including bleeding, miscarriage, or other health issues. Socially, the potential for high divorce rates and family instability may disrupt social and emotional well-being. The study concludes that adapting Hadith interpretations to current social contexts and implementing effective approaches to address early marriage issues is essential.
