Abstract

AbstractOffline and Online Shopping Attitude and Behaviour Phenomenon in Urban Millenials in Jakarta. The characteristic of urban people related to the way or habit of a person in economic activities to fulfill the needs (shopping). The new behavior is formed to do shopping from conventional to digital using a mobile phone like a gadget. This research aims to discover the changes in the way shopping Urban millennials in Jakarta from conventional to online. This research is a case study, the method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through observation, where we must observe the way and behavior of a person doing offline shopping in a shopping center and online e-commerce or social media marketing, using literature study and theoretical approach related to the theme of the research. This research finds that the differences between conventional shopping and online shopping are behavior, mechanism, and essential factors. They are also knowing positive or negative consequences when doing offline or online shopping.Keywords: urban millenials, social media marketing, offline shopping, online shopping AbstrakFenomena Perilaku dan Sikap Belanja Offline dan Online Pada Masyarakat Millenial Di Jakarta. Karakteristik masyarakat urban yang beragam terpaut salah satunya dengan cara dan kebiasaan seorang individu dalam kegiatan berekonomi memenuhi kebutuhan (berbelanja). Dengan kepemilikan dan akses terhadap gadget, terbentuk perilaku khusus mengenai cara berbelanja konvensional beralih pada cara belanja digital. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peralihan cara berbelanja pada masyarakat Urban Millenials Jakarta yang pada awalnya konvensional kini menjadi online. Penelitian ini adalah studi kasus, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan cara mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, mengamati cara dan perilaku individu dalam berbelanja offline pada salah satu toko jam tangan pada suatu pusat perbelanjaan dan berbelanja online pada e-commerce/ social media marketing, serta melakukan studi literatur dan pendekatan teoritis berkaitan dengan tema penelitian. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu adanya peralihan cara berbelanja konvensional dan online yaitu terletak pada perilaku, mekanisme dan faktor penting. Serta mengetahui konsekuensi positif dan negatif saat belanja offline/ online.Kata kunci: Millenials, social media marketing, belanja offline, belanja online

Abstract

AbstractCoconut plants are common in tropical regions, including Indonesia. The coconut plants can be usedfrom the leaves down to the roots. However, not many use its fruit’s shell, which quickly becomes aproblem when the shell is wasted after the fruit’s flesh and juice have been consumed, especially atmarkets and recreation centers. Coconut shell wastes can eat up a lot of space. However, the fibersof coconut shell can be used to make easily recyclable packaging. On another hand, plastic usage inIndonesia has caused environmental problems due to plastic being hard to degrade, not to mentiondifficult to recycle because of its chemical compounds. Using coconut shell’s fibers as material forpackaging can reduce the problems that arise from both plastic and coconut shell wastes, improvingIndonesia’s environment and economy by using an organic, sustainable, and recyclable product.Keywords: coconut fibers, plastic, packaging, sustainable design, recycle AbstrakTanaman kelapa merupakan tanamaan yang banyak ditemukan didaerah tropis, terutama diindonesia. Manfaat tanaman kelapa dapat digunakan dari daun hingga akar. Namun tanpadisadari buah kelapa setelah dikonsumsi, menyisakan batok/tempurung kelapa yang berisiserat kelapa yang menimbulkan masalah sampah dibeberapa tempat seperti tempat wisata,pasar dan lain sebagainya. Dikarenakan bentuk batok/tempurung kelapa yang besar sehinggasusah untuk didaur ulang. Serat kelapa dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menjadi kemasan yangmudah untuk didaur ulang. Penggunaan plastik yang saat ini digunakan di Indonesia sudahmulai banyak dan menjadikan tumpukan sampah bahkan merusak ekosistem serta susahuntuk diurai. Bahan plastik juga memiliki karakteristik untuk dapat didaur ulang, tidak semuabahan plastik dapat didaur ulang atau dapat digunakan kembali karena terdapat beberapakandungan kimia yang tidak sesuai. Dengan adanya kemasan organik yang terbuat dari seratkelapa kiranya dapat mengurangi limbah sampah yang ada di Indonesia terutama limbahdari batok/tempurung kelapa dan plastik untuk dapat menjadikan lingkungan di Indonesialebih baik dan meningkatkan perekonomian dengan pemanfaatan suatu produk organik yangdapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan dan mudah didaur ulang.Kata kunci : Serat Kelapa, Plastik, Kemasan, Sustainable Design, Recycle

Abstract

Feasibility Study Atmosphere of The Muara Baru Modern Fish Market as a Renewal of The Traditional Fish Market. The Luar Batang Fish Market, which was built during the Dutch colonial administration as Vismarkt, is a fish auction center in Jakarta which has now been relocated because of its very poor condition. The Luar Batang Fish Market Traders were relocated to two places, namely the Muara Angke Wholesale Fish Market and Muara Baru Fish Market to provide a decent place to trade. In 2019, The Muara Baru Fish Market was relocated again and changed its name into Muara Baru Modern Fish Market in response to problems that arise in the traditional fish market. The purpose of this study is to discuss what are the factors that distinguish the atmosphere between traditional and modern fish markets, how the transformation of fish market design has impacts on local communities, traders and buyers, and what are the values that change, remain, lost and arises from the phenomenon of changes in traditional fish market designs into modern ones using the research methods of comparison, continuity and changes, through semiotics.
