Abstract

This observation aims to identify the types of defects that occur in the powder packaging process at PT. XYZ as an effort to improve product quality. By doing this observation, the benefits obtained include being able to find out what problems cause disability and be able to overcome these defects from the suggestions given by observers. The multi lane machine is a packaging machine that is the object of observation because in the packaging process on this machine there are still many defective products produced. The method used in this observation is Six Sigma with the DMAIC approach which consists of the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control stages. The results of data processing show that the sigma level value is 4.10, which means that the quality control process carried out by the company has been running well. However, more intense control still needs to be needed to minimize the possibility of defects. The causative factors that cause leakage defects in the primary packaging of xyz powder include four factors, namely Human, Machine, Method and Material factors. Then from the four factors, suggestions for improvement are given.

Abstract

The pharmaceutical production process produces 55% greater emission intensity than the automotive industry. Along with increasing attention to the environmental impact of pharmaceutical drugs, pharmaceutical companies need to know the impact resulting from their production processes. This study analyzes the environmental impact of the anti-hangover drug production process using a Life Cycle Assessment. The analysis was carried out on 1 batch which produced 1,000,000 drugs. The scope of the gate to gate study from the initial process to the end of production. The research objective was to determine the potential impact resulting from the drug production process on the environment. The indicator measured is eco-cost, which is the cost of environmental impact calculated using the SimaPro software. This study found that the eco cost was IDR 3,931,237.65 with the largest environmental costs in the packaging process and the largest impact indicator on climate change. The biggest source of impact comes from the consumption of electrical energy. This study recommends the use of solar panels. For the energy conversion process, 80 KWp is needed with 288 solar panels and a land requirement of 0.564 Ha. This recommendation is estimated to reduce 22% percent of environmental costs.

Abstract

Sebagian besar retail elektronik melakukan pengambilan keputusan dalam hal pengontrolan inventori berdasarkan intuisi tanpa dukungan database elektronik yang valid. Hal tersebut sering mengakibatkan terjadinya lost sales, karena tidak ada barang di gudang ketika ada permintaan.  Guna mengatasi permasalahan sistem inventori tersebut, peneliti mencoba mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Inventori yang dapat membantu perusahaan. Sistem informasi yang bersifat web-based membuat staff di masing-masing bagian dapat melihat tingkat stok yang akurat di tiap gudang. Manfaat yang dirasakan terutama bagi pemilik/owner yaitu mendapat perkiraan demand di masa mendatang melalui peramalan serta memperoleh usulan bagaimana mengontrol persediaan melalui tingkat safety stock, reorder point, quantity, dan frekuensi pesan yang disarankan.Kata kunci :  inventori,  peramalan, web-based, sistem informasi, retail elektronik Abstract Most electronics retailers make decisions in terms of inventory control based on intuition without a valid electronic database support. This often resulted in lost sales, as no goods in the warehouse when there is demand. To overcome the problems of inventory system, researchers are trying to develop Inventory Information System that can help the company. Information systems that are web-based to make staff in each section can see accurate stock levels at each warehouse. Perceived benefits, especially for owners / owner that gets the estimated future demand through forecasting and obtaining suggestions how to control inventory through level safety stock, reorder point, quantity, and frequency of the message suggested.Keywords: inventory, forecasting, web-based, information systems, electronic retail

Abstract

PT X Motor sering mengalami produksi minus setiap bulannya . Permasalahan keterlambatan pengiriman part dari warehouse ke line produksi karena sistem supply material yang belum terstruktur, sehingga terjadi  line stop. Untuk memenuhi target produksi maka dilakukan overtime tambahan, sehingga biaya yang ditanggung perusahaan akibat tidak tepatnya sistem supply material menjadi tinggi. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengusulkan sistem pengiriman part ke line produksi dengan menggunakan sistem kanban yang diharapkan mampu mengantisipasi terjadinya line stop akibat kekurangan part. Penelitian ini berhasil merancang sistem kanban, kartu kanban dan menentukan jumlah kanban beredar.Kata Kunci: sistem kanban, line stop, keterlambatan pengiriman part Abstract PT X Motor often experience minus production each month. Problems delay delivery of part of the production line to the warehouse for material supply system is not structured, resulting in the stop line. To meet the production target then performed additional overtime, so the cost to the company due to not exactly be high material supply system. This study tries to propose a delivery system parts to the production line using a kanban system are expected to anticipate the line stops due to lack of parts. This study succeeded in designing a kanban system, kanban cards and determine the number of kanban in circulation.Keywords: kanban system, line stop, delay the delivery part
