Abstract

Indonesia is a nation that prepares its human resources to face the times. Many preparatory efforts have been made, one of which is the numeracy literacy movement since 2016. As a form of support for the numeracy literacy movement, this community service aims to improve the numeracy literacy skills of students through Himatika Mengajar activities. The participants are MA As Salafiyah Mlangi students who are also santris from several Islamic boarding schools in the Mlangi area, Sleman. The method used in this service is the habituation of numeracy literacy-based questions. The result of this service is that santris become familiar with numeracy literacy-based problems and provide insight for santris to apply numeracy literacy skills in everyday life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar Matematika siswa pada materi Himpunan di kelas VII MTs Amalul Ikhlas dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan 2 Siklus yang meliputi kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, wawancara dan refleksi. Sedangkan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa, peneliti menggunakan tes hasil belajar siswa secara individu.           Yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Amalul Ikhlas yang berjumlah 25 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 8 siswa laki- laki dan 17 siswi perempuan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat hasil tes awal (pre-tes) persentase kelulusan klasikalnya diperoleh 16.00% (4 siswa). Setelah pemberian tindakan pengajaran melalui metode pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT), tes hasil belajar siswa pada Siklus I persentase ketuntasan klasikal diperoleh 44.00% (11 siswa). Sedangkan setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada Siklus II diperoleh tes hasil belajar II persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 88.00% (22  siswa).           Dari hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini maka peneliti menyimpulkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar Matematika siswa pada materi Himpunan sebesar 44.00%.dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dan merekomendasi pada pelaksana pembelajaran untuk mengajarkan materi dengan mengembangkan metode pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT). Kata kunci :Hasil Belajar Materi Himpunan, Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT).

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effect of a contextual approach on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in curved geometric shapes. The literature review (SLR) study method was used to analyze 6 scientific articles relevant to the research topic. This research identifies themes and patterns that emerge regarding the influence of a contextual approach on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The results of the analysis show that the application of the contextual approach has a positive influence on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. Comparison table of scores for the experimental group achieved higher achievement than the control group. Data visualization graphs also reinforce these findings. The conclusion of this research confirms that the application of a contextual approach has a positive impact on solving mathematical problems in curved geometric shapes. The implications of these findings can be a guide for educators and researchers to enrich mathematics learning strategies by integrating everyday life contexts into geometry teaching
