Abstract

Understanding the construction of interpretation is important in helping to understand the interpretation of the Koran from someone creation, and for understanding the messages of the Koran. Likewise, understanding the construction of interpretation is very important to understand the stories in the Koran, so that humans can get wisdom and moral messages after contemplating the events narrated. Kisah Para Rasul Tafsir al-Qur’an Tematis is Yunahar Ilyas’ creation, as a moslem scholar. This creation has peculiarity, in sources aspect, methods, and his construction of interpretation. Yunahar Ilyas's interpretive construction consists of aspects which include the method of interpretation and the steps of interpretation. The interpretation method applied by Yunahar Ilyas is the maudhui method with a hermeneutic approach. The book of Acts of the Apostles Tafsir al-Qur’an Thematic has relevance to the contemporary context, namely having a contribution in scientific interpretation, educational value, and as da'wah for the community. The advantages of this thematic interpretation are that it is quite informative, concise, the language is easy to understand, and has clear sources. The drawbacks are not often discussing literature, lack of correlation with scientific knowledge, and on the story of the Prophet Muhammad that the discussion isn't over yet.

Abstract

This article analyzes the Quranic Hermeneutics according to Nâser Makârem Shîrâzî concerning al-Mahdi theme in al-Amthal Tafseer. He interpreted al-Mahdi’s verses and diverted them to another meaning beyond the text. It is a forced interpretation to fit the desired theme, that Al-Râzî cannot justify, even for a religion’s ideology. A descriptive analytical method using hermeneutic approach on Q.S. al-Anbiya’ [21]:105 is implemented. This approach is applied by textually interpreting the verse followed by an in-depth discussion using ijtihad to justify Shîrâzî’s ideology. Hence, his Quranic Hermeneutics, as associated with Imam al-Mahdi, accommodates two meanings. First, it interprets the Quranic verses textually based on the linguistic principles where no single verse discusses al-Mahdi. Second, conducting an interpretation ijtihad on the verses, referring to the narration of ahl-bayt. He constructs his argument to justify God’s promise regarding the advent of al-Mahdi. Through these steps, he conveys that every Quranic verse contains exoteric (zâhir) and esoteric (bât{in) meanings. Q.S. al-Anbiyâ’ [21]:105 inspires him to perform ta’wîl ijtihadî. The word Zabûr in this verse is confirmed to be the Mazmur verses containing God’s promise, that He will bequeath the earth to the devout people, and tells their characteristics, which are similar to Imam al-Mahdi al-Muntazar’s.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of anti-violence in the Qur'an, identify the educational values embedded within it, and formulate a conceptual model that can be implemented in contemporary Islamic education systems. This research uses a qualitative approach with library research through the thematic exegesis method (maudhu'i). The primary data consist of the Qur'an, while the secondary data include tafsir works and relevant scholarly literature. The analysis was conducted through the stages of verse identification, thematic classification, interpretation, and synthesis of educational values using source triangulation to ensure validity. The findings show that the Qur'an provides a comprehensive framework for building an anti-violence paradigm that includes the principles of rahmah (compassion), justice ('adl), protection of life (hifz al-nafs), self-control, and conflict resolution based on islah. These values are then formulated into a three-level conceptual model, namely foundational values, mechanisms of individual internalization, and the education system as an implementative ecosystem. This model emphasizes that anti-violence education must be understood as an integrative process that connects values, individual awareness, and the structure of the education system. The implications of this study indicate the need to transform the paradigm of Islamic education from a normative approach toward a value-based transformative approach, implemented through curriculum integration, dialogical pedagogy, teacher exemplarity, and the strengthening of an inclusive and violence-free institutional culture. This study contributes to the formulation of a Qur'an-based conceptual framework for anti-violence education that is relevant to the challenges of contemporary education.
