Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi semakin pesat, sebagai agen perubahan mahasiswa dituntut untuk merespon perkembangan teknologi masyarakat. Pelatihan mikrokontroler arduino adalah solusi yang tepat sehingga dengan pelatihan ini dapat memperbarui keterampilan seseorang sebanding dengan transformasi teknologi. Target dari pelatihan ini adalah mengenalkan mikrokontroler Arduino kepada para siswa SMA Negeri 3 Palembang. Tujuan khusus yang ingin dicapai, yaitu meningkatnya kreativitas para siswa dalam pembuatan proyek-proyek berbasis Arduino. Pada pelatihan ini, digunakan 3 metode yaitu beregu, perancangan, dan demonstrasi. Dengan menggunakan ketiga metode tersebut, para siswa sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan dan ingin mempelajari lebih lanjut. Diharapkan adanya keberlanjutan program pelatihan Arduino guna meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam bidang elektronika. Kata Kunci: Arduino, Internet of Things, Mikrokontroler ABSTRACT The development of science and technology is growing rapidly, and as agents of change, students are required to respond to the technological developments of society. Training in Arduino microcontrollers is the ideal solution for keeping one's skills current with technological advancements. This training's objective is to introduce the Arduino microcontroller to the SMA Negeri 3 Palembang pupils. Boosting inventiveness of students when creating Arduino-based projects is the specific objective to be met. Teams, design, and demonstration were the three techniques employed in this training. The students are very excited to participate in the session and want to learn more due to these three techniques. Abstract

This paper presents the development and evaluation of a personal assistant robot prototype with advanced speech recognition and natural language processing (NLP) capabilities. Powered by a Raspberry Pi microprocessor, it is the core component of the robot's hardware. It is designed to receive commands and promptly respond by performing the requested actions, utilizing integrated speech recognition and NLP technologies. The prototype aims to enhance meeting efficiency and productivity through audio-to-text conversion and high-quality image capture. Results show excellent performance, with accuracy rates of 100% in Indonesian and 99% in English. The efficient processing speed, averaging 9.07 seconds per minute in Indonesian and 15.3 seconds per minute in English, further enhances the robot's functionality. Additionally, integrating a high-resolution webcam enables high-quality image capture at 1280 x 720 pixels. Real-time integration with Google Drive ensures secure storage and seamless data management. The findings highlight the prototype's effectiveness in facilitating smooth interactions and effective communication, leveraging NLP for intelligent language understanding. Integrating NLP-based speech recognition, visual documentation, and data transfer provides a comprehensive platform for managing audio, text, and image data. The personal assistant robot prototype presented in this research represents a significant advancement in human-robot interaction, particularly in meeting and collaborative work settings. Further refinements in NLP can enhance efficiency and foster seamless human-robot interaction experiences.

Abstract

Penerapan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) terus mengalami kemajuan pesat dan memiliki potensi yang luar biasa dalam mendukung transformasi digital di berbagai sektor. Dalam rangka pengembangan ekstrakurikuler di KIR 03, dilaksanakan sosialisasi inovasi AI dengan memanfaatkan robot personal assistant guna mendorong digitalisasi. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta mengenai manfaat dan potensi penggunaan teknologi AI dalam konteks kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi penyampaian materi presentasi yang mendalam, interaksi tanya jawab yang aktif, serta dokumentasi kegiatan secara komprehensif. Hasil analisis data dari kuesioner menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta setelah dilakukan sosialisasi. Respon positif peserta terhadap manfaat dan kemudahan penggunaan robot personal assistant menggambarkan kesuksesan sosialisasi ini. Sosialisasi ini memberikan implikasi potensial yang kuat dalam mendukung digitalisasi di KIR 03 dan berkontribusi bagi masyarakat pada umumnya.
