<![CDATA[Pertumbuhan, perkembangan, dan kebutuhan akan informasi terus-menerus menjadi sebuah kebutuhan primer bagi setiap masyarakat umum, organisasi, perusahaan, dan lembaga pendidikan. Salah satu contoh lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki kebutuhan akan informasi yaitu Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (Polsri), dimana dosen dan mahasiswa memerlukan koneksi melalui sebuah media kabel ataupun nirkabel untuk terhubung ke jaringan internet (global) maupun jaringan intranet (lokal). Sistem Akademik dan Learning Management System (LMS) adalah salah satu jaringan lokal Polsri yang paling sering diakses untuk memenuhi kegiatan akademik. Dosen ataupun mahasiswa sebagai client akan terus dapat mengakses jaringan lokal tersebut selama jalur komunikasi atau media transmisi antar router client dan router server tetap terhubung. Apabila jalur komunikasi utama antar router client dan router server terputus oleh faktor tertentu, maka client tidak dapat mengakses jaringan lokal sehingga proses kegiatan akademik menjadi terhambat. Untuk menghindari kejadian tersebut, maka diperlukan sebuah jalur komunikasi cadangan (backup link) dan suatu penerapan teknik failover pada sisi router client. Teknik failover adalah teknik yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mengalihkan jalur komunikasi utama ke jalur komunikasi cadangan sehingga komunikasi dapat terus berjalan meskipun jalur komunikasi utama terputus. Jalur komunikasi cadangan pada implementasi ini didukung oleh teknologi telepon seluler generasi keempat atau teknologi yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah 4G LTE (Fourth Generation Long Term Evolution). Selain itu, terdapat penerapan Virtual Private Network (VPN) tipe Layer Two Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) pada jalur komunikasi cadangan untuk menjaga keamanan komunikasi. Protokol routing yang akan digunakan untuk melakukan proses pertukaran informasi routing pada implementasi ini adalah Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPengembangan profesi guru adalah untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas guru agar semakin professional dalam melaksanakan tugasnya menggunakan media aplikasi Microsoft office power point. Ada beberapa faktor mengapa kegiatan ini diselenggarakan. Ada guru yang tidak terbiasa menggunakan teknologi sebagai media dalam pengajaran di kelas. Sekolah tidak menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai yang memungkinkan guru menciptakan media ajar mereka. Tidak adanya pembimbing dan pendampingan yang memberikan pendidikan singkat tentang bagaimana membuat media animasi untuk pengajaran di sekolah dasar. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini guru-guru SDN 130 Palembang diharapkan mampu menguasai dan memahami fitur dan fungsi yang ada pada Microsoft power point serta mampu membuat animasi untuk pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Microsoft power point.Kata kunci: animasi pembelajaran; pelatihan microsoft power point; presentasi atraktif. ABSTRACT Teacher professional development is to maintain and improve the quality of teachers to be more professional in carrying out their duties using Microsoft Office Power Point application media. There are several factors why this activity is held. There are teachers who are not used to using technology as a medium in classroom teaching. Schools do not provide adequate facilities that allow teachers to create their teaching media. The absence of mentors and mentors who provide short education about how to make animation media for teaching in elementary schools. With this training the SDN 130 Palembang teachers are expected to be able to master and understand the features and functions that exist in Microsoft power point and be able to create animations for learning using Microsoft power point.Keywords: attractif presentation; microsoft power point training; learning animation.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of mobile internet technology in the field of education has been widely used. In college the use of Mobile Internet Technology has a significant influence on the performance of lecturers both in the process of learning and teaching. Research on Sriwijaya State Polytechnic Lecturer aims to evaluate and analyze the factors of acceptance of mobile internet technology to lecturer performance. The survey was conducted on 78 Sriwijaya State Polytechnic lecturers in all departments. The study used the model of acceptance of Mobile Internet Technology with Technology Acceptance Models (TAM) method. Factors analyzed were perceptions of ease of use, perception of utility, social factors, work relevance, perceptions of pleasure towards intentions in the use and use of actual systems. The results showed that the perception factor of usability, job relevance and pleasure perception affect the lecturer's intention to use mobile internet technology. The results also show that the perception of convenience and social factors have no effect on the intention to use mobile internet technology, it is because lecturers are difficult to become proficient in using today's highly sophisticated and ever-growing technology.Keywords— Technology Mobile Internet, TAM, Lecture Performance]]>

<![CDATA[E-commerce merupakan kesatuan teknologi, aplikasi, dan proses bisnis yang menghubungkan perusahaan, konsumen, dan komunitas tertentu melalui transaksi elektronik dan perdagangan barang, pelayanan, dan informasi yang dilakukan secara elektronik. Meskipun manfaat E-commerce bagi UKM sangat besar, saat ini hanya sedikit UKM yang telah mengadopsi Ecommerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana penerimaan teknologi e-commerce pada UMKM kain tenun songket Kota Palembang dengan menggunakan model TAM dan menambahkan variabel social influence. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara pada 25 UMKM kain tenun songket yang telah menerapkan e-commerce pada proses bisnisnya. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa menggunakan regresi linier berganda (multiple linier regression) dan diperoleh hasil perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, dan social influence berpengaruh terhadap intention to use e-commerce technology.]]>

<![CDATA[Various attitudes emerged and shown byindividuals for the presence of computer. Although manybenefits are felt by the computer, but there are some peoplewho feel anxious with the computer (computer anxiety).Computer attitude showed no reaction or behave the computerby pleasure or displeasure against the computer. Thephenomenon that arises is computer anxiety and computerattitude can affect a person's expertise in the use or operate thecomputer. This study aims to examine how the effect ofcomputer anxiety and computer attitude towards computer selfefficacy on the 6th semester student telecommunicationsengineering POLSRI. Samples taken in this study were allstudents of telecommunication engineering 6th semesterPOLSRI totaling 89 people. The results showed computeranxiety and computer attitude not affect the computer selfefficacy6th semester student of telecommunicationsengineering POLSRI. This is due because the 6th semesterstudent of telecommunications engineering POLSRI havepositive feelings to learn the computer either by themselves orthrough a learning courses.They also realize that the computerprovides many benefits. <![CDATA[ABSTRAK Aplikasi web e-learning merupakan salah satu bentuk teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang digunakan dalam proses belajar di sekolah. Penggunaan aplikasi web e-learning memungkinkan seorang siswa dapat belajar dimana saja tanpa terikat oleh waktu. Kebutuhan akan aplikasi web e-learning menjadi lebih luas tidak hanya terbatas pada distribusi informasi berkaitan dengan mata pelajaran dan materi pelajaran. Pada ujian online yang bersifat essai, aplikasi web e-learning harus mampu menvalidasi pelajar yang akan mengikuti ujian dan memberikan nilai secara akurat jawaban yang dijawab oleh siswa beserta rangkingnya. Untuk mengantisipasi kebutuhan-kebutuhan penggunaan aplikasi web e-learning yang besar dan variatif maka aplikasi web e-learning harus bersifat reusability (penggunaan ulang) dan maintainability (mudah pemeliharaan). Diperlukan suatu paradigma pemrograman yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan-kebutuhan tersebut. Aplikasi web e-learning yang dikonstruksi oleh komponen-komponen program bersifat reusability dan maintainability sehingga mampu menjawab kebutuhan-kebutuhan pengguna aplikasi web e-learning. Ketika ada perubahan pada aplikasi web e-learning maka perubahan tersebut dilakukan pada komponen yang terkait dengan perubahan tersebut. Pada penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi web e-learning berbasis komponen dengan menggunakan teknologi Enterprise Java Bean (EJB). Metode pengembangan aplikasi web e-learning menggunakan metode spiral yang memgijinkan kembali ke fase sebelum ketika ditemukan kesalahan. Hasil yang didapatkan berupa aplikasi web e-learning yang mampu beradaptasi secara cepat terhadap perubahan kebutuhan-kebutuhan pengguna. Jika ada perubahan spesifikasi aplikasi web e-learning maka perubahan tersebut cepat dilakukan tanpa mengganggu struktur utama aplikasi web e-learning.]]>

By measuring the quality of a website, it can be known the user‘s perception of the website. In this study using WebQual method that has been modofied with the addition the dimension of user satisfactionwith the three main dimensions of WebQual 4.0 usability, information, service interaction. This research was conducted in the environment of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. This research was conducted by using questionnaire. The population of this research is State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya collegers. The result obtained in this study is the development of a better website, it is found that the quality of information and quality of usability affects positive on user satisfaction. Quality of service interaction affects a negative on the usersatisfaction of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya user.]]>

<![CDATA[Information data security is an important aspect of exchanging data and information. Data and information security can be done in various ways, including by using the cesarean cipher method in cryptographic techniques. The cesarean cipher method of cryptographic technique is a substitution coding system which is done by replacing each alphabet character with other characters along the 26 alphabet characters so that the coding only occurs in the alphabet itself without any other punctuation. This study proposes a modification to the cesarean cipher technique by adding to the number of characters used, namely 256 characters in the ASCII code. The caesar cipher application or CaesarApp uses the methodology of library study, consultation, application design and application testing. The implementation of the CaesarApp application was created using the open-source Android Studio 3.5 application. The results of tests conducted on the CaesarApp application note that the modification of the caesar cipher with 256 ASCII characters results in a secure information data security application, this application has a deficiency in reading limitations on ASCII characters, so characters cannot be read properly on android users.]]>

<![CDATA[Along with rapid development computer technology, teachers are highly demanded to improve their competencies to become professionals. As the foundation of education, elementary school teachers deserve attention, in this case including the 130 Palembang Primary School teachers. Attention to these teachers shows that the majority of Palembang 130 Primary School teachers still do not utilize computer technology for the learning process. The limited ability is very possible due to the suboptimal use of software that is commonly used (user friendly) in learning activities. In fact, there are several user friendly software that can be used to facilitate teachers in administering learning activities, one of which is the Microsoft Word application. Based on this, a dedication needs to be made aimed at providing computer training for teachers of Palembang 130 Primary School using the Microsoft Word application. Computer training materials using the Microsoft Word application include the following three things: getting to know Microsoft Word, making activity reports, letters and tables and processing words from composition, editing, formatting, and printing results. By holding training for the Palembang 130 Elementary School teachers, it can facilitate the teachers in administering learning activities so that it can be done quickly and efficiently.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Sistem Informasi Akademik merupakan sistem pendukung penyelenggaraan pendidikan, sehingga dalam proses pendidikan dapat menyediakan layanan informasi yang lebih baik kepada mahasiswanya. Sistem Informasi Akademik Polsri dibuat untuk dapat membantu mempermudah kinerja dari pihak akademik dan mahasiswa dalam mengorganisir jadwal mengajar dosen, kehadiran dosen dan rekapitulasi nilai sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi bagaimana penggunaan mahasiswa pada sistem informasi akademik (SISAK) Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya. Penerapan SISAK Polsri memerlukan evaluasi, diantaranya terkait dengan tingkat penggunaan sistem tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan sistem informasi akademik Polsri dalam mendukung proses administrasi dari sisi kegunaan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan ketersediaan jaringan. Evaluasi SISAK Polsri menggunakan metode Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor tersebut. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik survei dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode statistik multivariate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perceived usefulness dan perceived ease of use tidak berpengauh terhadap actual usage SISAK Polsri, sedangkan perceived availability berpengaruh terhadap actual usage SISAK Polsri Kata Kunci : TAM, sistem informasi akademik, Polsri]]>
